These plastic parts drawers are great!
These plastic parts drawers are great! They are well made and drawers slide in and out very easily when pulled. I don't have any of these wallmounted yet, but maybe when I get some more, I will try that out - there are cutouts in the back for you to mount on the wall, as well as some plastic dividers on the back you can punch out and put into the drawers. Only con of this product is the fact it comes with maybe 6-10 dividers and there are 64 drawers - poor planning on their part. They need to include 64 dividers. I don't consider this to be a deal breaker though. Here is what I did to make free dividers. Find an amazon box somewhere thats made of a thinner cardboard. You can use thicker, but I find that the thinner kind works best. Take ONE of the Akro-mils dividers that they provided for you (they are on the back of the drawer container) and trace the outline on the piece of cardboard. Cut out the piece of cardboard, and slide it into one of the drawers. Works nicely, and is a free solution that only costs a little time. I've also saw some people were saying you could go buy a sheet a plastic and cut that and insert it, but I prefer my free divider method I can't wait to buy more of these, they keep me so organized!

Finally what I have been looking for
I bought 3 of these to put my tons of beads in. My husband built a stand for them in just a couple of hours. That's 192 trays for beads and there are some dividers for them. Others say they make the extra dividers they need. I don't have all my beads in there yet but so far I love it. They seem to be made of quality materials, not the type of plastic that cracks easily. The drawers slide easily out when pulled, not tight like they want to stick. I'm very happy with them so far and if any thing changes I'll by back and write about it but I don't foresee that.

as well as one of the same brand with the larger drawers and I am very happy with them both
I bought this, as well as one of the same brand with the larger drawers and I am very happy with them both. I replaced a similar product that was made of hard plastic that I had for years. The hard plastic drawers would break or the handle lips would chip off during moves. I chose this product because of the polyurethane (flexible) drawers. I mounted them side by side in my garage at eye level so that it's easy to find what I'm looking for. I would recommend that you either have a light behind the unit or at least white walls, because it makes it easier to find stuff visually rather than opening every drawer looking for what you need. As far as the criticism in other posts about the dividers, I can't speak to it because I don't use them. The drawers are small anyway, and in order to make it easier to find what I need visually (as noted above) I don't want to use dividers and have different stuff at the back of the drawers. Since I bought this one in addition to the one with 32 small drawers and 12 large drawers, I have all the room that I need without using dividers. I've very happy with this product and would recommend it.

Jewelry supply organization
It came a day late, and the sides were scratched, but everything works. I use it for jewelry charms and supplies. The divider pieces are molded into the back as breakaway pieces, but I have not needed to use them yet. The drawers open smoothly and don't fall out. Just pull them out and lift them up to remove them. It's easy to put labels on thrm too.

Stands the test of time. I've used it for rings and earrings for three years!
I have had my cabinet for three years and am here to buy one for my sister who loved it when she saw it in my extra room. I use this cabinet for rings and earrings. It has 64 drawers that fit a number of rings or earrings and the drawers, while not clear, are see through so I at least know somewhat what I have in them. I have it set up so the rings are on the left side and the earrings (mostly posts and smaller fishooks) are on the right. I further have it so that gold is on the top and silver is on the bottom. I have some mixed metals and things so I have a row for them. This cabinet has held up perfectly for me. The drawers don't pull out and topple over when I pull on them. They have a stopper which is a big relief. I would be dropping all my stuff everywhere otherwise. Each drawer holds a number of items and I can either put similar pieces together or even put a set together so I can just reach in and pull out matching earrings and a ring. I have never had the unit tip over forward or backwards and it is not affixed to anything. It is free standing on a dresser. It's not dainty or pretty but it gets the job done and holds so much that I don't have to have a million little boxes everywhere. This is for my fashion rings and earrings. I have more protective jewelry boxes for higher end things but this is perfect for all those inexpensive rings and stud or small wired earrings I picked up over the years. Love it and have had no issues with it. I don't mind that it has no drawer dividers. I just toss two or three rings in one drawer and pull out the one(s) I want to wear. I am sure there are more industrial uses for this cabinet but it works great for my use and I am going to buy my sister one since she keeps saying how she wishes she had something like it to keep all her fashion stuff in. We're jewlert horders. It's incurable so we need things that can hold a lot without taking up a lot of space. This Akro-Mils 64 Drawer Cabinet works is perfect for that chore.

This drawer unit is PERFECT for storing Legos
This drawer unit is PERFECT for storing Legos. With so many drawers and the option to add a divider across the middle, you can organize all of your small pieces in fine detail. The drawers are deep enough to hold plenty of small pieces. Drawers are prevented from pulling all the way out by little tabs above each drawer in the black frame. Each drawer can have a divider across the middle of its width, which you can easily make from cardboard or cereal boxes instead of buying. For the ultimate in Lego storage, combine this 64 drawer unit with the 24 drawer unit for larger parts: Akro-Mils 10124 24 Drawer Plastic Parts Storage Hardware and Craft Cabinet, 20-Inch x 16-Inch x 6.5-Inch, Black

3D PRINTERS - READ THIS :)
First of all, I LOVE these drawers. I'm buying 4 moor soon. I keep anything from nuts and bolts to bearings and electronic parts in these, labeling each with a label maker. Really helps organize my little workshop! I tried a rip-off brand and boy did I regret that. Just a little bit of weight and that other brand was falling apart. These Akro-Mils are definitely the way to go! Now for the cool 3D printing tip: I modeled a few drawer dividers that you can 3D print! I printed mine in blue, as you can see in the photo. These drawer dividers are a tremendous help. I've uploaded the files to thingiverse and you can download them for free there :) Just search for "ULTIMATE Drawer Divider Collection" or "Akro-Mils" and it'll be one of the first that pop up. Hope that helps someone out there! :)

Just what I needed
This is perfect for sorting beads and gemstones. Since dividers were so much $$, I bought a 15 x 18 inch sheet of plastic at Lowes for $2 and made my own. Unfortunately, the choices were only pink and green, but I can live with that to save $30!! The few dividers proided on the back of the unit are black..... For those who are inclined to make their own, each divider is 3x5 cm.

Best Lego sorting system!
I have been searching for a good Lego organizing system, and finally found what we believe to be a winner. This is a pricey system (but so is Lego). We considered sorting to keep all set pieces together, but really felt that Lego is the most fun when you can create your own inventions and mix pieces from sets. We've tried plastic storage containers and zipper bags but none really seemed to work that well. While definitely on the more aggressive end of organizational systems, these work perfectly to sort small pieces, which can easily be located again if you wanted to build a particular set using Lego instructions. The fact that you can move individual drawers is really helpful when you want to reorganize rows or have new pieces that best belong in a specific location. Or if you have too many of one kind of piece, you can then consider sorting by color too. The drawers have a simple stopper system to prevent them from falling out easily (a tiny tab that sticks out to block the drawer from sliding out completely unless you angle the drawer slightly), which is helpful since the drawers slide so easily. If you want to move the whole cabinet, just tilt it so the drawers sit back in their slots. A slight lean forward will result in all your drawers sliding out (and hopefully not falling out completely, but it's a bit wobbly). And if you want to take it a step further, check out this person's Lego labeling system, where you can download free templates if you have the appropriate label printer: http://tomalphin.com/bricklabels (I am not affiliated, but found his site very useful in figuring out how to actually sort the pieces). The attached photo is from his page. We also bought the matching cabinets with all big drawers and mixed size drawers, but I think this one will be the most useful.
