I have had this cart for almost 5 years. I came here looking for a spare tire and decided to leave a review. I live on five wooded, hilly acres and have used this cart for hauling firewood, gravel, retaining wall blocks, mulch, compost, etc. with my ATV. It has taken a lot of abuse and has never failed me.I just got my first flat tire which was easy to fix, but it would be nice to have a spare to minimize work interruptions.

If you're wondering if this is "too big" for your small yard, it probably is! The tandem axles hang out from the sides a good bit for stability, but it'll make navigating small spaces difficult. The tandem axle assembly uses the same hardware as the standard axle, so it'd be easy to slip a single set of the tires on the axle for small jobs where you'd like more nimbleness. (The tandem axles fight turns due to no steering; they skid to turn with the tandem set, so under load this friction could be considerable.) The steel construction is solidly built, making the trailer heavier than most; once you assemble it, you're not going to want to be lifting it off the ground without leverage. I strongly recommend the fence attachment, as the bed is shallower than I'd imagined, but much more surface space than I'd imagined as well. All in all, I'd be comfortable suggesting this as a purchase for my friends and relatives, and by the looks of it, it'll be lasting a good long while.

Though the packaging came in all tore up, which Amazon promptly took care of, the trailer is well built. Easy to assemble. As a metal fabricator I couldn't build one for the same price, maybe better. Make sure that you are able to take this in your local trails, as this is over 50" wide and restricted on alot if trails in Idaho.

I put this on my wish list in 2015 and bought it in early 2018...I should have gotten it much sooner. I use mine primarily to haul wood out of the woods on my property. It holds a lot of wood and is very stable behind my Polaris 570. It will roll up and over most branches you come across in the woods and is stable on slopes. The trailer is easy to put together (although it will take some time), is very well built and is solid from top to bottom.

The ad for this coupler stated that it would fit the 1200 & 1500 model Polar ATV carts... all hardware for the connection included. This information turned out to be spot on. Two bolts, one with a bushing that fit perfectly, and it was ready for service in roughly five minutes. A coupler/hitch ball means of connecting a trailer to a tow vehicle is VASTLY superior to a pin connection. I'd recommend this coupler to a friend.

Very large capacity and has durable wheels. Assembly not bad. Hardware for bed mounting could have been hex head bolts not Phillips for easier install. The side rack kit accessory gives the cart even more capacity. Recommend.

I read reviews of this side rack kit that stated it was difficult to mount. It was not, maybe 25 minutes, and it fit like a dream. Assemble, drill and bolt forward bolts first loosely, then a rear bolt, drilling where you want it to be. Bolt loosely.Do the other rear drilling, holding the rail where you want it. Bolt looely. The do the middles, and tighten all around. 5 stars.

I mounted these on yesterday by myself hence the 4 stars, I should have had help holding the parts when I screwed them together. One aspect I didn't like was having to drill 4 holes in the top lip but that did go painlessly and no big deal although the instructions say to drill a 3/8 hole, I drilled 4 a couple sizes smaller to increase the tightness of the bolt, that being said you better have it lined up good and pilot marks punched with an all before you drill the holes or it will not be lined up correctly. We will see if it holds 60% more product with these sides, seems like a large number to me but time will tell. The cart itself is amazing and I love it as do my grandkids for work and play....Very clever design and a great tool not a toy but can be used for one if done right...Thanks Polar..You can send me the tandum one free if you like, that one is crazy cool...

A definite need for the Polar trailer, I have the 1500 series trailer along with several other items I move with my tractor. If you move other pieces of equipment that require a ball hitch to move, I would highly recommend this.

Bought to put on the polar HD 1200 trailer to use with our atv on the homestead. Little trouble getting the spacer in... tight fit that required a hammer. Not sure if this was because of the trailer or the coupler but New w that’s its on it hooks up easy to the atv and is fine.
