Great Mini Cake Pan
This is a really big muffin pan. I wouldn’t even call it a muffin pan. It’s more like a mini cake pan, which is what I was looking for. The pan is non stick, so the cakes came out easily after flipping pan over. I still used oil and flour to coat it before putting in the batter. And it was easy to clean. The 6 wells took 1/2 of the cake batter recipe. So, a whole recipe or box mix would make 12 of these mini cakes. I put frosting on the bottom side because I felt it looked better turned upside down. The sides slope like a drinking cup, so turning it the opposite way made the top circumference smaller than the bottom. Nice pan. I would purchase again. *Just a note: This is not the typical large muffin pan that uses large muffin liners. There are no liners for this pan because they are more like elegant mini cakes. If you want a large muffin, buy a different pan.

Huge! And Perfect!
Be prepared when you received this, because it will be much larger than you think it will be. It is very heavy weight and bakes very evenly. I purchased this to make popovers, and they have come out perfect every time I have made them. They have released perfectly even if I didn't use anything in the pan, so that's a huge plus. They went through the dishwasher with no issues at all. I have also used them in the freezer to make a ziploc bag oatmeal "plug", which is super useful in the morning. I am looking forward to making little angel food cakes in these, but haven't done it yet. Lots of fun in the future...

That's Deep!
This muffin pan is DEEP! It makes super tall muffins which is amazing! Really though we got it to make breakfast. Yep breakfast. Crack a few eggs, some chuncks of bread, cheese, ham, pop it in the oven. Clean up was super easy. Dishwasher safe but also very easy to clean by hand.

Wilton Giant Cupcake/Muffin Pan
I love the Wilton Giant Cupcake/Muffin Pan. Sturdy, easy to clean by soaking, and a great size for multiple recipes. I will use for cupcakes, muffins, quiche, and maybe even a meatball recipe for the guys watching sports. Excellent pan. Thanks Wilton. You get us!!! Pan came very fast and well protected. Thank you Amazon.

Fortunately, I didn't purchase these to make muffins in
I got this pan in the mail the other day, and as the other reviewers said, the size is HUGE! I typically use a muffin tin that was made in the 50s, so the size of this pan is almost three times the size! Fortunately, I didn't purchase these to make muffins in, and will instead be using this pan to make humongous popovers! As another reviewer suggested, I have used this pan also to freeze stocks and soups. Each portion of the tin is a great size for one serving of soup, and I will definitely be doing this a lot more in the future. It should also be noted, though, that finding the paper cups for this tin might be extremely difficult. I would recommend purchasing these also from amazon or from Wilton themselves, as finding some in fun colors or patterns is extremely unlikely in a grocery store.

Excellent Popover Pan for Big Families
If you need to be able to fit two popover pans in the oven at the same time, this is the holy grail!! Plus, the cups are significantly larger than a traditional popover pan -- so one of these king-sized popovers per person is a very generous portion. The dimensions are approx. 13.5" x 8.5" x 3" high. As others have mentioned, muffins or cupcakes made in this tin would be large enough to qualify as personal-size mini cakes!

Tulip papers will work with this cupcake pan
Like other shoppers, I was at first very surprised at how large each chamber in the pan is, I thought much too big for a serving of muffin or individual cake, more like enough for two people. Then I got out my tulip papers, and they fit nicely, with some room to spare. Filled the tulips about halfway with a bran muffin batter, buried blueberries between the two dollops of batter, and was very pleased at results. There is a lot of hot metal surroundin the batter, so the baking is uniform, good even heat surrounding each tulip. As the batter heats and expands, it makes the tulip fit the chamber. When I took the batch out of the oven, I could easily lift each one by two corners of the tulip, and set on a cooling rack. The batter rose quite high, more than i expected. So even filling only half the tulip yields a fairly large muffin. I baked a crumble on top, and that stayed within the top of the paper. This is a nice pan, definitely not thin and cheap, it's substantial. I will give some thought to making savories in it, perhaps something like a lasagna or other pasta dish. And then, there are always potato bird nests. I think one person commented that the extra tall muffin or cake fell over. Trim top with knife, present it upside down. It's a splendid deal if you buy one as a low-priced Add-On product, but worth the investment even at regular price. I plan to use it often.

Nice and Sturdy
I love this pan. It's nice and sturdy and cleans up easily. I've read where people are complaining about not finding liner cups for this pan. Well, this is where parchment paper comes in handy. I just cut 9" squares of parchment paper, folded 4 times, unfolded and then placed the center of the folds over a cup in the pan. I then used a half pint small mouth canning jar in the center and squashed the paper down to the bottom. I creased the folds, and bingo! A parchment paper lining for a king-size cup. The only problem is that it's kind of hard to keep the paper down in the hole while pouring in batter. It is easy with stiff dough like muffin dough, a little trickier with cupcake batter. But, you get the hang of it after a couple of cups. Personally I like the look of parchment liners over paper cups, so I'm a happy camper.

"Bigger - IS Better"!
The "Wilton" brand of bakeware has always been a good reliable product that I have used over the years. And I was very excited to try my yummy, fluffy "Blueberry Muffin Recipe"; which I formerly baked in a regular 12-cup non-stick pan, but it was fun to bake them in my new "Jumbo non-stick 6-cup Pan"...they turned out GREAT and seemed to taste even more delicious! I can't wait to try my cornbread & cupcake recipe's: JUMBO-SIZED! Yep, "Bigger - IS Better. LOL
