Same quality as always, great price

Purchase for my husband. He's been wearing this same style of reefs for the 15 years I've known him and many years before that. If he's not at work or dressed for an occasion, he pretty much lives in them year round (Socal). He replaces them probably every 3-4 yrs as the rubber soles eventually wear out in spots. I have a couple pairs I wear more sparingly and they have not needed to be replaced after owning for 10+ years. Great quality and Amazon had the best price I could find.

Love love love these sandals!!!!

The best flip flops ever. I wear down my reefs until the toes practically wear through. I live in these EVERYDAY for 8-10 months a year (it’s California and I hate socks). I have to buy a new pair every 12-18 months but they do last for a long time compared to how often they are worn. I’ve had to buy these in the past at surf shops for $40-$50 so they are a way better deal for $29. They take a few weeks to perfectly mold to your feet but they are still comfortable in the beginning.

Smaller than the previous version

I bought these 6 years ago in Tahiti, I love them, they're not even fully worn out, I just want them to be fresh again. I can't wait to wear them again. It appears the size 13 (which is about half a size too big for me previously), is now the correct size, I ordered a 12, and they were way too small. I'll report back on the new 13.

Great Sandals!

These are by far, the best flip flops I have ever owned. They are phenomenally comfortable! Very light, and durable. I have been wearing them daily for almost six months, and they have quickly become my favorite! The sandal, as it's name implies feels very smooth and soft, the straps do not chaff between the toes, and do not feel constricting, or abrasive in any way. They are easy to keep clean. Yes, they do run a bit small, and a little narrow if you have wide feet, but it's not to the point where your foot will come into contact with the ground, and it does not look bad. In my opinion, they are more comfortable than the Reef Contour Smoothy, and the Havaianas Top sandal. UPDATE 7/14/13 I bought another pair (4th Smoothy, Grey/Black) and it seems like the newer sandals are 3-4mm shorter than my older sandals, and are now made of a much harder compound. They are also more slick on the soles. I still like them, they still fit me with a little overhang (1-2mm)at the back while putting pressure on my feet. The straps are much tighter. I actually had to use my fingers to get the new ones on. I liked the snug fit of the Smoothy, I just hope this one breaks in to the level of comfort as my first 2 pairs. I'm not taking any stars off... yet...

My first pair lasted over 7 years of constant usage.

This is a nice basic pair of flip flops. I just replaced my 7 year old ones of the same model. They were still good, of course, but very worn. Out of those seven years I wore the last pair, I wore them almost constantly during 2 years of college, that includes winter except when there was snow on the ground. It also includes peddling my bicycle about 1500 miles. They are also very comfortable. I got tired of buying a new pair of cheep flip-flops every year only to have them break a week later, so I figured I would try upgrading to the twenty dollar pair. It has definitely paid off. I could've spent 60+ dollars on the cheep ones, so I definitely saved by shelling out the cash for the more expensive ones. (Well, it's really not a lot of cash, but you'll have to remember I was in college when I bought the first pair). This would have to count as one of my favorite products, in any category, of all time. Summary: they are comfortable, they will last a long time, they are worth every penny, and they will become your best friends.

Go at least one size up

Everyone's right about the size issue - I normally wear a 10, ordered a 12, as suggested by others, and they fit perfectly. Maybe a tad too long, but I don't know how my foot would've been able to slide into a smaller sandal and straps. Besides, the larger the flip-surface area, the more protection for your toesies. I bought this same sandal 4 or 5 years ago and they just broke, after a notably rigorous game of drunk Bocce ball. They are by far the most durable, comfortable sandal on the market. Traveled with me to many a country and terrain. They mold to your feet after several weeks of use, and somehow continue to get more and more comfortable over the years. Perfect amount of grip for the more active individual (volleyball, afternoon croquet, trotting briskly along a winding path, driving a manual transmission, etc.). Spend the extra $10-$15 for Reefs or Tevas. Stop wasting your money on cheap flippy-floppies from Target that only last as long as a fleeting romance. These babies will stay with you for half a decade, maybe longer (if you aren't a particularly intense lawn athlete like myself).

Solid black on black casual flip flop. These are comfy and hold up decently well. I am pretty rough on these and they typically only last a season and we are coming to the end of that and they are still holding strong.

Love our Reefs

My husband loves them. This is his 2nd pair, since the dog seemed to love them too. He wears them everywhere we are not working. Great for our Florida lifestyle.

Good quality and price

Unfortunately I returned these because I don’t like a soft toe strap. I prefer one that stays up on its own. However these are of high quality and worth the money.

These are my "go to" sandals

Update: I ordered another two pair of these sandals. Here's a pro tip. Put them in the washing machine on the gentile cycle, in a load of towels. Then put them in the sun to dry. O buy these every summer and I like these sandals for a number of reasons. 1. They are washable. Nothing is worse than stank old flip flops. I put them on the gentile washing cycle the minute they begin to ripen. 2. They are understated. No silly designs. No bottle cap remover in the heel. 3. They are probably the most comfortable flip flop I've ever worn. One caveat: I buy these about a half size smaller than my actual shoe size.
