Very pleased with my Sons Puppet Theater* it arrived less then a week from ordering ,it took me 1 hour to put together because I have two Special Needs Children ,it will probably take You less time.I really liked the fact that the instructions where very well explained and as you see in the picture The size of the box was not bulky. It was a great way for my Son to wake up and see his Theater. Thank you Amazon and Melissa and Doug for all your great products*

Exactly what I expected.

I gave this to my daughter for her 4th birthday. It took about 15 minutes for me (the mom) to put together. (Not nearly as hard as I expected) It comes with complete instructions and all the hardware is labeled so it made it pretty simple. She loves it and it's perfect size for a 4 year old. My 7 year old son is also enjoying it, although he is too tall for it. He sits on his knees and uses it. It does fit 2 kids in it nicely. I also bought the Mellissa and Doug monster puppet kit to go with it. Perfect present.

Really love the puppet theatre. Instructions & materials were nicely labeled & packaged. Grandkids are thoroughly enjoying it. Also got them several sets of hand puppets! They are being creative mixing the characters up. Only problem is with curtain, kids have trouble with getting straps in right direction for Velcro hookup. Also wish it had a little shelf in front to sit puppets on. Otherwise it’s great

Imaginative Play

Got this for my Grandkids over 6 months ago. Holding up well for having 4 boys and 2 girls under 5 enjoying it. Papa decided to strengthen it by adding two boards to each side of the base. It will now probably out last the Grandkid phase, but you know there is always Great-Grandkids to look forward to. Overall though, built fairly durable with nice detail and the clock has really helped our little Olivia with time. They love being able to create their own plays or re-enacting a classic (gotta tell ya 3 Little Pigs was hilarious!) and putting on a show the whole crowd will enjoy!

Great Quality

Easy assembly - great quality!! Would be more functional if the rod/curtains were set back a few inches from the front. This could easily be done by attaching the rod to the side panels. This would allow puppets to be used with the curtains closed, without the curtains being in the way of operating the puppets (have the curtains be more like a backdrop). OR add another rod/curtain for a backdrop when curtains are open. I am thinking about making this modification myself. Am very pleased with product for price paid and would highly recommend.

Easy (relatively) to put together ... grandkids loved it!!!

Gave it to grand kids this morning ... then spent an hour (no, I didn't time it) putting it together. While the directions could have been a bit more helpful and the parts better marked, the assembly went smoothly. I did have to start over a couple of times but that was my fault for not looking more closely at directions. It went together well and seemed to be sturdy. We'll see how long it lasts. Kids have spent most of the day putting on puppet shows. I recommend this for 2-5 year olds. They'll have a good time creating their own puppet shows..

Cute and Sturdy

This puppet theater is very sturdy and perfect for out 5 year old son. It took about 45 minutes for my husband to put it together. We are pleased overall but only one thing disappointed us. The curtain has Velcro to pull back curtains and on one side of the curtain the Velcro was sewed backwards. So we have to twist the Velcro around piece to hold the curtain. A little inconvenience but nothing that hindered the fact that our son is having so much fun using this theater.

Warning: induces lots of giggles

Purchased as gift for our niece's fourth birthday. She LOVED it. Big hit with her cousins, ages 5 and 3. Straight off, she played with it for hours. Six months later, still one of her favorite toys in her fairly full playroom. Straightforward assembly instructions, and fairly painless to put together. Quality materials which portend a nice long life of imaginative play and giggles.

We purchased a puppet theater and the puppets from Melissa & Doug company for a Christmas present and the young children went wild having plays! Sometimes the "good old toys" are the best. Imagination stimulation! Thank you for a terrific product! The set up of the theater took about 20 mins and required a screw driver, but everything else was available and lovely.

This is SUCH a great puppet theater

This is SUCH a great puppet theater. It was not difficult to put together, and although it seemed flimsy as I held each piece, in the end the whole structure is very sturdy and secure. My kids have NOT stopped playing with it. Even though the puppets we bought weren't that great, they use stuffed animals or even their hands to put on the cutest performances. They became obsessed with puppet theaters after we visited a local library with one, so I knew I had to buy one. This did NOT disappoint. It has been an awesome way to get their imaginations working overtime!
