I’ve fed my dog Diamond Natural’s food since she was a tiny newly weaned puppy. We started with large breed puppy formula and at a year and a half when she was full grown switched to adult lamb and rice formula and always free fed not. She has always had great digestion and never been gassy like most dogs that I know. I always get comments on how shiny her long coat is and she has always been extremely healthy (She’s now 5 1/2). We also noticed when the kibble changed color and size suddenly a while back and after a couple of days of digestive upset like any dog has when a food changes she got used to it and is still thriving and the picture of health. Sure I would’ve liked a little packaging alert like “new and improved formula” or whatever it is companies use these days but I haven’t noticed any changes since. Don’t let the negative review scare you off.

Diamond Naturals is a good quality pet food so far (and that's hard to come by these days). I have 2 large dogs that have just turned 8 years old and they've been on this food for years (all flavors Chicken, Beef, Lamb) Good ingredients at an affordable price. My dogs get a smaller ration of kibble with a nice portion of real meat and some veggies. Vets comment on how healthy my dogs are - bright eyes, shiny coats. While I'd prefer a grain-free kibble, this is great for the price when feeding multiple dogs. NOTE: The chicken and the lamb are smaller sized kibble, while the beef is a bit bigger. Bags of this food have always been fresh. I buy this brand regularly.

I normally buy Iams Naturals Lamb and Rice, but the price per LB has been steadily going up and got to a point where I didn't think 26lbs of it was worth $36. Saw this 40lb bag for the same price and after looking at the ingredients and comparing it online it's pretty much the same food so I took a chance. I even messed up and waited too long to order so I didn't have any of their old food to transition it with, but they're so similar that my dogs haven't had any issues with the sudden change over. No extra gas or loose stools and they seem to love the flavor even more than the Iams. Long as the price stays the same for the quality, I will continue buying this food as it's of good quality for the price and my dogs eat 9 cups of food a day between the three of them. Extra bonus is not having to physically go to a store and lug food home lol.

This is the only brand I will buy for my dog. It took me a little bit to find the perfect food for her, but this fit the bill! For many dog owners, price ends up overwhelming quality. This particular food has a decent price, and the quality is pretty good! My dog has a beautiful coat, and great stools. I know that nobody likes the poop talk, but with dogs, poop is important. The quality of food also determines how healthy their poop is. If it is overly frequent, not frequent enough, too hard, too soft/runny, funky smelling (outside of the normal poo smell), or funky colored, that can mean that the food is not of a good quality, or their body needs a different type of food to function properly. This food has provided exactly what my pup needs to be healthy with a beautiful coat!

My sister recommended this brand to me. I have a cocker spaniel mix and this is great food. He has a fairly sensitive stomach so I avoid the cheaper "name brand" foods which aren't as healthy for your dog anyways. He loves this food even after eating it for a while. My dog is a very energetic dog so he is always running or eating. I find that when my dog eats some of my sister's dog food it often upsets his stomach and I find surprises in the morning but I have never once had that issue on this product. Plus, this bag is very comparable to the costco pricing on their premium food while being delivered to your house. Win-win

This is a great and cheap alternative dog food brands like Pedigree, IAMS, and some Purina that serves corn and by product meals as the main ingredient, which is not very good for your pet. My dog really enjoyed eating this compared to other brands (but every dog is different, so your dog might not enjoy it the same). This is definitely a great choice within a reasonable budget and the bag itself is pretty large. I have a terrier and a corgi mix and this would feed them for about a month. The main ingredient within the Diamond Natural is food meal and vegetables: "Lamb meal, ground white rice, cracked pearled barley, peas, millet, chicken fat (preserved with mixed tocopherols), egg product, rice bran, dried beet pulp, natural flavor, fish meal, flaxseed, potassium chloride, salt, choline chloride, dried chicory root, kale, chia seed, pumpkin, blueberries, oranges, quinoa, dried kelp, coconut, spinach, carrots, papaya, yucca schidigera extract, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Bifidobacterium lactis, Lactobacillus reuteri, vitamin E supplement, beta carotene, iron proteinate, zinc proteinate, copper proteinate, ferrous sulfate, zinc sulfate, copper sulfate, potassium iodide, thiamine mononitrate (vitamin B1), manganese proteinate, manganous oxide, ascorbic acid, vitamin A supplement, biotin, niacin, calcium pantothenate, manganese sulfate, sodium selenite, pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6), vitamin B12 supplement, riboflavin (vitamin B2), vitamin D supplement, folic acid." My answers to the most frequently asked questions: Is this food grain free? No it is not, but it is not the main ingredient. Does this product contain sweet potatoes? My dog is allergic. Thanks! You need to check the ingredients list, but from the list above, it does not. why did the price go up from 36.99 to 58.79? It fluctuates depending on demand and the fees associated with working with Amazon. Wait till it goes down to $36. Definitely recommend as a level above well known brands that utilize corn as the main ingredient and trying to stay within budget. Like our review? Hit the "Yes" button below for it being useful. Diamond Naturals is my go-to dog food from this point on! This incredibly affordable natural dog food is packed full of amazing and healthful ingredients you would have never thought your canine friend should be benefiting from. As I read the ingredient list, I was honestly surprised. From Live and Active cultures (YES! I said live and active cultures), to antioxidant packed fruits and veggies to seeds and nuts along with natural grass fed lamb ... this dog food beats Blue Buffalo in every aspect. I have Mastiffs (French Mastiffs and South African Boelboer Mastiffs) and their digestive systems depend heavily on properly balanced natural foods. Ever since I took a chance with Diamond Naturals .. their overall health, temperament and appearance has greatly approved. It was a rather easy transition from their previous dog food to Diamond Naturals and they absolutely love the taste of the food. Their Veterinarian also greatly approves this brand after showing her the ingredient list. Pumpkin, kale, chia seeds, flax, live and active cultures, just to name a few .... and less than $1 per pound .... how can you pass this up?

Love this dog food! I have a HEALTHY and happy four year old yellow lab that impresses the Vet EVERY time we have a check up. Last check up she said she has never seen a healthier dog. I have so much faith in this product that I have asked my parents to use this food for their 14 year old yellow lab that is having a hard time walking and has been struggling with patches of dry skin all over. Within TWO weeks she was walking MUCH better and her skin was not dry, raw or bothering like it had before. My puppy loves this food and I love that it is so good for her. This food also makes her coat super soft, her teeth clean and is wonderful for her hips. We live in Colorado and hike every weekend and I love that her legs, feet and hips are healthy enough to explore the Rocky Mountains. I also love that I am a Prime member and within two days it is delivered right to my door step. :) thank you Diamond for keeping my puppy healthy and happy so she is with me for as long as possible!

We have a pit/lab mix that has a very touchy digestive system and probably some food allergies. With all of the usual stuff we found at the grocery store, and even some of the pet store food like science diet, she had very loose stool and bald patches from irritated skin. One food even caused her face to swell!! So after reading about diamond naturals online we decided to give it a try, our sweet puppy loves it and she is perfectly healthy after 9+ months on it. She hasn't had a reaction to any of the flavors and her coat looks really healthy with energy to spare! We did stop buying it on Amazon though because we can get it cheaper locally at Tractor Supply Co.

I've had my young shepherd on this for a few months now he gets so much energy from it that's forsure lol! It Arrived on time as well! And my mom has had her springer spaniel on this diet its been the best there is, high quality too. He enjoys the taste and is always looking forward to breakfast and dinner. The 40 pound bag came today and holly molly! So much weight! I can tell this is going to last em awhile.(: It's just as much on the website as is in stores. I recommend you do whatever is best for you and your fur baby.
