I’m a firefighter so getting these boots where a must! And boy was that a great decision! The material is thick and the boot is well constructed . I bought a size 7 and my daughter got a few years of wear from them. The cookies are still bright after many uses in a rainy climate. So well made I passed them along to a fellow firefighter and I’m sure he’ll pass them along afterwards. They are constructed as good as my old real rubber firefighter boots. She got compliments on them everywhere we went. After writing this review I’m actually going to buy another pair. Cat go wrong with these

So cute!

I bought these for my 16-month-old son. They are so adorable! He wears a size 5 toddler and I ordered that size at first; however, I could not get his pants inside the boots because his legs were too chubby. So I decided to order a size 6 toddler and they work perfectly. He can still walk in them just fine and his pants fit inside the boot. He seems to like them and they kept his feet dry through all the puddles.

Wonderful quality, wonderfully cute.

I have had Western Chief rainboots before, and I was not disappointed with this pair. My son was given a hand-me-down froggie raincoat and hat, so these boots match perfectly! I got one size larger than his standard shoe size. They're a bit snug going over chubby little toddler feet, but unless his socks are damp or super thick, I can get them on without a struggle. And once those feet are in the boots, it's obvious he'll have plenty of toe room to grow into. As his feet get longer, they'll thin out a bit, so I imagine I should get a full year's use out of these boots. The quality is great - sturdy plastic and solid joints. A few reviewers have said the pull bands broke on them, and I can imagine how that would happen if a lot of pressure was applied to them. Just look at the diameter of the band - it's not meant to be tugged on relentlessly! They're more intended to help a child guide his or her foot into the boot, rather than to be used to forcefully pull a boot on. After several weeks of use, they're now scraped up a bit (one-year-old + mud & gravel) and dirty, but there's no sign of any structural problems. My daughter has had her pair of Western Chief rainboots for over a year now, and they're as sturdy as the day we bought them.

A big hit, order up a size or two!

Bought these for my almost 3 year old son. I read mixed reviews about the sizing on these, one said order up 2 sizes and another said they're too big. My son wears a 7 so I ordered an 8. They fit him perfectly... I actually wish I would've ordered up another size to a 9 to allow more room to grow. I would suggest ordering up one or two sizes. I was thinking about exchanging these for a size 9 but my son was instantly obsessed with them so we are keeping them. They are nice sturdy boots and really adorable. He loves them and has worn them all day with no rain in sight. Looking forward to our next rainy day because he's ready to splash in puddles now. I recommend these boots and I recommend going up in size.

cute boots!

I bought these for my son and sized up so they could last longer and he could continue to grow into them! I ordered them a few weeks before Halloween and he wore them almost everyday for a few hours all the way up to Halloween. The quality is good, but I think the price point is a little high. I have seen some similar ones since purchasing these for about $10 less. Regardless, we're getting out money's worth because he's obsessed with the boots and luckily they aren't falling apart.

Best Rainboots!

Having two boys ages 5 & 3 rain boots have been a staple in our household and our trusted brand WESTERN CHIEF! The quality of the boots are impeccable and being that they are so well made they can be passed down from one child to the next and still look brand new. They are lose enough at the top to fit in jeans, jogger, sweatpants without creating wrinkles. They are very simple for s child to independently put on starting at the age of one! The boots are sturdy but not not stiff and although they are tough for muddy puddles they aren't overly heavy leaving children able to run, move, jump freely while not having to worry about tripping or falling. They work great with thin or thick socks allowing for flexibility in seasonal use. If you are looking to a rainboot look no further as you won't be disappointed and will end up becoming a brand loyalist!

My son (2.5yo) LOVES these boots. They are his "jumping boots" (purchased for rainy days and puddle jumping) but he wears them non stop! He is super excited to be able to put them on and take them off himself (loves the handles). There was a bit of a strong glue/rubber smell out of the box, but that dissipated within minutes. They are sturdy, nice thick rubber, the seams are put together well, the print looks great and has the toddler seal of approval. These are his "favoritest" shoes!

My 2 yr old niece loves her firefighter boots. Her Daddy is a professional firefighter and she loves wearing boot like Daddy. She wears her boot to ballet class with her pink leotard and pink tutu a classic look. They boots felt a little heavy but she doesn’t have any problem running and playing in them all day Theses boots look great the colors are bright and the boots are sturdy and well made. The graphic are great. I liked them so much I bought a pair for my nephew, his Daddy is a professional firefighter also. He will get his Christmas Day.

Well pleased

Western Chief Kids Camo Rain Boot was bought in the fall for an extremely active 5-year old who loves the outdoors. The fit was good as well as the durable. I saw him wearing them a week or so ago while tramping in the woods. They have survived the woods, the snow and the muddle puddle jumping. There is now one small part around the front rim of one coming loose. I had expected much more wear and tear since they have been worn for more than just walking in the rain. I am pleased with the purchase, considering them a worthwhile purchase.

PERFECT!

These boots are absolutely adorable! My brother had a pair when we were little and had them on when we had our picture taken with Santa, so I wanted to recreate the same scenario with my son at Christmas this year. The quality is super nice and the rubber is very thick. Everything about these boots are just so cute! Even the box! I would definitely buy Western Chief items again!
