These aren't the best scissors available, but they are an excellent quality given the price. I bought this pair to place in my miscellaneous junk drawer and for my desk. Those Dollar Store scissors may do okay, but they definitely have a short life, and these scissors are much higher quality. I cut corrugated cardboard with these and didn't have a problem but honestly, I wouldn't use these for anything heavier than flat cardboard (gift box weight). Comfortable handle but nothing special.

This is my third pair of Westcott titanium scissors. I, unfortunately, used their predecessor to cut wire, pry things out of spaces, succumbing to things no scissor should have to endure. He tried to rise to the challenge but ended up fraying the last ribbon he was ever to cut. He was retired to the scissor graveyard where he was repurposed as a garden tool. I will attempt to be more cautious in my crafting adventures and refrain from inflicting the same type of abuse on the new twins. Wish them luck.

I used to spend a lot of money to get my expensive sewing shears sharpened, but about ten or twelve years ago, I decided to try some inexpensive shears instead. So I bought these. I have been using them for at least a decade, and I'm shocked at how well they stay sharp. They are better than any mid-grade sewing shear I've ever had. I've paid MUCH more for scissors that go dull much more quickly. I also have these in the desk for craft and home use, and those stay sharp for a long time, even despite cutting things like cardboard, paper, tape, plastic, etc. These just might be the best scissor buy I've ever made.

Long ago we stopped purchasing kitchen sheers because they're just not sharp enough for a lot of things we need them for, and honestly they don't hold up very well. We've been using regular scissors for a while now, and replace them as we need to when they get worn/rust/break. These are two pairs of VERY sharp scissors that have been working flawlessly for about a month now. We meal prep our meals for a few weeks at a time, and then vacuum seal our meals into 1-meal-per-person packs. This means we open lots of things in our kitchen! These have no issue cutting through plastic, but yet feel durable enough to handle other tasks as well. They have been used a few times to roughly cut herbs as well, so they function in that regard as well. The best part is that for the price and the fact that they came in a 2-pack means we will have sharp scissors for multiple years to come.

These are great scissors. My husband has been buying them for use in our business for years. Our shipping dept used them daily. Our production team used them to cut very hard plastic and they do an amazing job and last for a long time through rigorous use. We made sure each desk at our office had a pair. Great for cutting paper, cardboard, plastic, etc. and the price is great! I just bought some for myself at home for arts & crafts.

These were on a lightening sale so I got a great price for these two pair of scissors. Scissors are one of those items that you just don’t think of spending money on if it’s not for your kid’s school supplies. When I did get these, though, I just felt so... fancy with such nice new scissors in the house. And two pair at that! Anyway... They’re scissors, they’re a full-sized pair, they have nice, sturdy plastic grips, and they cut. I have a pair for general household use, and a pair in the kitchen for packaging.

These scissors are GREAT !!! It seems I always need scissors and I usually end up paying more than I should for mediocre quality. These are remarkably low priced for one let alone that you get two !!! They have a good weight to them ,are well built and have that cut noise of sharp and well engineered quality! This is actually my second set which I bought because I was worried that the price might soon double or triple as I've seen retail for one pair at double what I paid for this two pack on Amazon. Great Value !!!

These scissors are the best. I use one pair for paper, cardboard, and misc., things, but the other pair is strictly for my sewing room. They cut cloth like a hot knife through butter. I have several pairs of these all about the house. The men in my family know enough to always ask me before they use them to make sure it's not a pair of my sewing scissors. I have even put their names on some for their tool boxes. They are great for many things.

I could not be happier with my purchase! I am disabled and have very poor use of my hands; these scissors slide over my fingers smoothly and comfortably and cut anything from light paper to heavy, thick tape along the entire length of the scissor, from base to tip and anywhere in between with ease. They can be used in either hand with the same ease and cutting ability and require almost no effort to accomplish whatever task you put them through. I'm not familiar with the name of the company, but I am getting enough scissors to keep in every room of the house! (My rating is spontaneous and is not given because of any trade for goods or services!) ----- Two years later, these scissors are going strong! No rust, no discolorations. The best way to keep them sharp is to clean them after each use, and use rubbing alcohol to remove duct tape residue.

Good quality scissors that do exactly what they are designed to do, which is to cut things. The grips seem to hold up nicely and feel great in your hand. Definitely not going to give you blisters after too much use. The blades do seem pretty sharp, hopefully they will last quite a while. Overall, this is a decent pair of scissors at a great price. I would recommend!
