Perfect for turkey! Couldn't be happier, great roasting pan,didn't have to mess with foil,just lifted lid off last hour and my bird browned beautifully, This is great buy for price.

Great roasting pan

I have been using this type of roaster for many years. The one I had was my grandmothers. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the pan. I bought one for my 85 mother-in-law he old one had rusted thru on the bottom. She is thrilled with this pan. I roasted a ham with vegetables and the pan worked great. Well made and worth every penny.

Perfect size for baking challah/egg bread

I was looking for a proofing and baking vessel for braided egg bread (holy, challah, stolen, etc.). This oval roaster is a perfect size for 2 1/2 cups of flour recept (half or regular amount) and 2 level braiding (I fill each strand of dough with raisins soaked in rum and orange rind). I don't need to worry any longer about unstable bread or ends of bread getting loose. The lid of this roaster fits well, creating steam for the first 20 min. of baking (no more tenting of dough). The only problem with this roaster was that the baked bread started to disappear even before I could take a picture. If you are afraid to make your own challah, get this roaster and you can't fail. In the future, I may find other uses for this roaster, but in the present, it is worth it to have just for the above reason.

Heartbreak and second chance

When we moved house a few years ago, we purged as if we were getting ready for the rapture. My old roaster was a casualty of those efforts. We had many roast dinners without our trusty roaster and it never came out quite like we enjoy it. Did we cry over those dinners? Maybe. Like a repentant Ex, we saw the error of our ways and began our search for a replacement. Cast iron enamel pots are too heavy and if the enamel lining cracks, those pots can rust. Non stick makes me nervous with all the chemical coating on the pans. THIS ROASTER is light , lid works well for convection cooking, and is it not overly slippery like non-stick products can be. I’m happy with my purchase.

A great small roasting pan

Cooks evenly, cleans easily. I’ve cleaned it in the dishwasher and by hand and it always cleans beautifully. It is a little smaller than I anticipated (fits about 5-6 chicken thighs, or a small roast) but glad I kept it. I’ve had this for a few months and I still love it.

seems fine. just arrived. but so tiny. UDATED REVIEW. I HAVE CHANGED MY RATING FROM A 3 TO A 5 STAR. I have used this a lot. It works fantastic. I do say it is tiny but it works wonderful nonetheless. I can put in 4 large legs and/or breasts and that is about all. But they are delicious. So the cookware is fantastic just want others to be aware of the size. thank you. I scrub it out (barely call it scrubbing) and put it in the dishwasher and it comes out beautiful. I am actually eating more chicken because it is so easy and deliciously moist. The main reason is the moistness of how the meat cooks. I would recommend.

Great Pan

I have several larger roasting pans, but needed a small one. I roasted a whole chicken in the one I just bought and it came out juicier than any I've done in a larger, uncovered pan. Since I didn't have a roasting grill, a couple of spots at the leg joints did not cook completely through. So, I looked around on amazon.com and found one that fits perfectly...at least for the pan I bought. Found it!!

Had this pan for years and it finally had to be tossed. Couldn’t find another one and I was frustrated until now. Usually use the large version, but sometimes you just need a smaller one. Thanks!

Great size for what we needed.

My mother used the largest of these for Thanksgiving dinner every year and it never let her down. I had no idea they came in different sizes, but when looking for individual 'steampots' for a small low-boil dinner party we were holding, I found these and they were just perfect. They were inexpensive enough to order one for each guest. They were the perfect size and our guests enjoyed themselves so much that we now have an annual tradition.

Perfect for roasting

This is the perfect pan for roasting Chicken and other meats and vegetables. My meat and/or veggies always come out perfectly! The pan is also non-stick so it's very easy to clean and store away.
