My orthopedic physical therapist showed me some balance exercises on the TheraBand Stability Trainer. I ordered one, and I'm more than impressed! 1) When I do the workout the PT showed me, I get a great workout and I'm progressing quickly. 2) You can put this anywhere that you're going to be standing and take an exercise break. 3) This type of stability exercise is much more "functional" (I mean, prepares you for something you have to do in real life) than a bosu The Theraband is similar to any uneven surface such as walking on grass, a natural movement. OTOH, a bosu is a wild ride, I'll never have that kind of situation to walk through. (And please don't misunderstand: I'm not putting down the bosu!!! It's just more advanced exercise accessory. For a therapeutic patient like myself, the aim is mobility, not sports excellence; so a bosu would be too challenging.) 4) The instruction booklet has about 15 pages of really good suggested exercises for the whole body, which means that you could use this product as a multipurpose exercise center. 5) It was a bargain for the money I paid ($26), it's large, thick, well-made.

The more you use this, the better your balance becomes. I need knee replacement surgery in both knees. The surgeon wanted me to work on my strength and balance before I had the surgery. This really helps to work on your muscles. Much easier than the board over a ball idea!

I use one like it at physical therapy and needed to have one at home, this product is exactly as described, definitely recommend!

My home physio suggested this addition to my rehab om a recent hip replacement. It is certainly challenging and is helping me return to improved balance and coordination. Would highly recommend. Came very quickly!

I used this in PT for knee support and bought one to use at home.

After trying it for the first time at my friends house I couldn’t wait to get mine. My friend has been using his for over 10 years and finally got a new one. I love it !

I have had to use these in physical therapy several times. I have used it most recently for ankle strengthening. I have used one in the past for balance issues. I finally bought my own so that I could use it for preventive maintenance.

I used this in physical therapy after knee surgery. it was great for building up your leg strength and balance. becuase of the benefits o got from using it, I bought one for home.

I needed something to help with my stability and this pad was perfect for me. It helps me balance and keeps my knee comfortable on the floor.

Perfect for small muscle movements in your leg. I had knee surgery and this works great pre and post PT workouts.
