I'm absolutely not using this fan as it is meant to be used, but for my purposes it is wonderful. I have a router that runs very hot and with this thing clamped to a stud and pointed at it, the router runs cool as ice. This thing works great! The only thing that would have made it better is if I could have somehow worked using duct tape into the installation. :)

My sister and I share a room and we're always fighting over the ceiling fan. I have it full blast because I like air circulating and I get hot and she gets cold. I would wake up sweating because she would turn it down when I would fall asleep. So I clipped this to my bed and I don't wake up sweating anymore and we're able to keep the ceiling fan on low and keep this little fan full blast. I love it! Also love that it's not battery operated. Plugs right into my wall.

On my 2nd year using Comfort Zone fan and there are times it runs 24 hours, variable speeds, secure clip for mounting. Keeps my bunny cool on warmer days

This comfort zone 6" clip-on fan is perfect for use in home or office or on a table, desk or my drum set. It has an adjustable tilt to aim airflow exactly where you need it. Easily clips on to any surface with a strong clamp for firm grip. Whisper quiet, reliable operation. Two speed rotary control adjusts speed to customize air flow: high or low. It also has a built in carry handle.

Currently serving overseas and our AC units regularly stop working. I purchased this because summer was fast approaching and I hate being covered in sweat while I sleep. This fan works great. It has kept me cool, while providing soft white noise to help me fall asleep even faster. I have slept better and more soundly each night, with less waking up due to sweat. If you are looking for a simple office fan or something for a small room positioned near your bed then look no further.

Fir a 9yo's top bunk. Heat rises. Seems to cool him. Not noisy, at all, I never hear it running all day. He destroys or loses everything. He moves around all time. Lightweight.

Came packaged as having to attach clip to the fan, but easily done without tools, thanks to good design. I bought this for my desk at work and it performs great. *UPDATE* As of today (owning it for just a few weeks), the blade assembly has started to slip, causing a noise that I first thought to be a bad motor brush, based on the sound. As it turns out, the blade assembly presses onto a smooth shaft and grips only by a 3 'prong' opening on the back of the assembly. Point being, it has the very high possibility of not holding well. I managed to fix it by using some well placed scotch tape, and hopefully it will hold up, but I guess this design is what keeps the manufacturing costs down allowing me to obtain it so cheaply. I feel I must remove a star for this, but I won't because I still feel it's a good value.

Fan is clipped on the window seal end for leverage. It has small speed wind. Behind is the switch. Switch right for slow fan to spin or switch left to make the fan spin stronger air in your face. Switch it to the middle to stop the fan from spinning.

I have a severe heat intolerance (as in I can't even tolerate having hair - have to have head shaved) and I'm into making realistic dolls that have heat set paints (and some fumes). This little fan is great for keeping me cool, and sending any fumes in the direction of the open window. It's not fancy- but for the price, I'm very happy ! Update: The clamp isn't very strong. Gravity takes over, so no matter where you aim the thing, it's going to gradually fall towards that direction. IF you can get it positioned where it's supported under the fan, and not rely on the clamp for all of the weight, it's a good little fan.

This little fan is a real blessing. I clipped it to my headboard to keep me cool and comfortable at night. The clip has a wide opening and rubber pads for a secure grip. It consumes less that 8 watts on low speed. It isn't whisper quiet but it's quiet enough. Rotation and direction are easy to adjust. I am thinking of getting another one because it works so well and uses so little electricity.
