One of my favorite utensils

The 14-inch version of this spoon which I understand from Tovolo they will discontinue initially sold me on the Tovolo line of silicone utensils. That accounts for the high price and you get a much better buy now with the 12-inch spoon which I also really like. I do virtually all of my cooking with these spoons. This makes for a sturdy mixing spoon and will also scrape your bowl. It performs equally well on the stovetop for sautéing or stir frying. These spoons do have a shallow bowl but work just fine for scooping rice out of a pan. You will want to find something deeper for serving out of a ceramic dish and I picked up a cheap deeper silicone spoon at the grocery store for that purpose. These Tovolo spoons have my highest recommendation. I like the length, the color selection and the heat resistance to 600 which should make them last for a long time. Tovolo makes very good silicone utensils and I consider this spoon one of the best.

I use this every day

I purchased some nice non-stick pots and pans that I suppose can tolerate metal utensils but would definitely prefer these silicone ones. They are really non-stick as well so cleaning them is super easy. I don't have to worry about scratching the bottom of the pan. The upside to silicone products is that they are easier to clean than wood (which you can hardly get wet and probably shouldn't use soap on) and they won't melt over time like plastic. I absolutely adore these utensils. The handle is made out of a nice sturdy metal that does not heat up (unless I suppose you left it right on the burner but who would do that?!)

Darn good spoon!

Some kitchen tools are easy to overlook. Don't for a second, though, forget how important it is to have a good spoon: comfortable, easy to use for stirring, useful in a cooking pot or saute pan, durable, easy to clean. This spoon is all of that and more. Price is good, too. Cooking grade silicone with a sturdy metal handle, just the right size slots, and easy to hold and control. And it washes like a charm. I've had his spoon and its un-slotted cousin for more than a year and it has help up very, very well, and has never failed me. Looks like new even after many trips to the dishwasher (in the dreaded lower rack!), big pans of bread dough, browning eggplant slices in hot oil, stirring garlicky sauces, and so on. It has never picked up smells or colors. Great, great kitchen tool. No cons, lots of pros.

My go-to spoon

I had a grey one from Sur La Table that lasted two years. I made gumbo with the spoon which left a slit in the spoon. I went back to Sur La Table and they no longer sell this spoon. Their spoons were too flexible. So glad I found the same one here on Amazon. It is super durable, it won't bend when you are cooking. Love this go-to spoon!

Great for all cooking and baking

These spoons are great. Super heat resistant, sturdy, great for scraping up every last bit of whatever you’re cooking. It’s got the sturdiness of a spoon and the scraping ability of a spatula.

Sturdy, good looking, and nice price

Seen other silicone spoons for a higher price than his one only to be less attractive and smaller in size. I tend to like the color blue and have bought other utensils as this but with a much skinnier handle that didn't feel as sturdy and strong as this one. It has a clean look to it and has a nice big enough size for various cooking or mixing needs. So far very happy with the purchase and the price was right. I also like that It won't scratch or damage other cook wear as metal kinds will and I believe It can withstand high temperatures? Don't remember reading if it can but if so definitely a great guy and comes highly recommended.

I absolutely love this spoon! It's sturdy, easy to clean, heat resistant and the color blue is very vibrant. Worth every penny.

Tovolo Mixing Spoon

I really Love this spoon I am trying to replace my cooking gadgets a little at a time and find Tovolo to be excellent quality I hate the plastic mixing spoons but these Silicone really stand up to the heat ,doesn't leave stains from pasta sauce etc and doesn't scratch my pans the handle doesn't get to hot unless of course you leave it in a boiling pan to long .These are dishwasher safe and doesn't leave that nasty smell that the plastic ones leave lingering the colors are awesome so many to choose from would recommend Tovolo to anyone.

Tovolo gal

I have become a Tovolo gal. I have purchased several of their spoons and turners and plan to switch out all my old utensils with their product. I have also recommended them to family and friends .... they just really work that well for me. They clean up very easily and the ends do not melt when I stir fry with them!! Their nice lightweight and very adequate. I definitely love them.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE !!!

I absolutely adore Tovolo products! This silicone spoon is no exception. I just wish they'd make more utensils... like a ladle and a large serving spoon. I recently got ceramic pans and wanted to update all my utensils from teflon to silicone. I purchased one Tovolo utensil (this spoon) and was very happy with it..enough so that I purchased more of their spoons. The balance is good and it's very well made. I would expect this slotted spoon to last many, many years.
