This package of deep cut blades showed up exactly as described in their original Cricut packaging. Even though these blades are advertised in the description for use in the Cricut Explore machines, they DO work perfectly with the newer Cricut Maker machine as well. The Cricut Explore DeepCut Blade comes with one (1) Cricut Deep Cut Blade black housing and one (1) single Deep Cut Blade is included. I would highly recommended ordering extra blades at the time of purchase if you plan on using the deep cut a lot! This deep cut blade is definitely a neat accessory to add to your Cricut crafting and cutting collection.

Nice blade, works great on thicker material.

I’ve used the deep cut blade several times and it worked great on thicker material just like I expected. I’m hoping to use it for a long time because I can sharpen the blade with aluminum foil. You scrunch the foil into a ball, then stab the blade into the foil several or more times to sharpen it. Yeah!

THIS DOES WORK WITH EXPLORE AIR 2

This os exactly what i needed. Some reviews said that this would not work the Explore Air machines but it does with mine. I make faux leather bows and earrings and although i did have to tweak some settings to get used to the blade it 100% works and provides clean cuts and straight lines.

Do not waste money on non-Cricut replacement blades. BUY THESE TO SAVE TIME AND MONEY!

Trying to save money, I purchased the non-Cricut brand of replacement cutting blades thinking they would work somewhat similar to the real brand. I was very, extremely disappointed. I purchased a set with 3 different types of blades to accommodate all the materials I had to cut, but NONE OF THEM WORKED FOR ANYTHING! I even ruined a few cutting mats along the way trying to adjust all types of settings, just to get one decent cutout of vinyl. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON IMMITATION REPLACEMENT CRICUT BLADES. At first I thought I had misaligned the blades, maybe.. so I turned them around in every which way possible. That was not the problem at all. I finally purchased the authentic cutting blades and voila. Perfect cuts right away! Purchase these blades and you will save yourself tons of time, effort, and money. These blades are phenomenal. Will definitely purchase these again, when needed.

Cricut needs to label these for the Maker too!

I thought I needed this blade to complete my set of blades for the Maker. I had to call Cricut to confirm this was compatible. Then on 7/16/19 Cricut dropped an entire new line of blades with a new style of blade housings.. 😤

Love this deep cut blade. I have the cricut explore air 2 and it made cutting leather really easy. It cut through birchwood but i did have to adjust the settings so it would cut through my mat.

Good product. It's black, not silver.

Good product. Unfortunately, the blade holder looks silver, but it's black. Not that it matters, but when I was told to get the black blade holder for the deep cut blade, I was confused and stated I only saw a silver one.

Finally a blade that cuts through glitter cardstock!!

I have cricut air2 and the fine point blade doesnt cut it, on glitter carstock, literally. 5 pass and still not all the way through. This one, deep blade cuts with just one pass! One!! Love it!

Struggles to cut genuine leather but works well otherwise

Absolutely excellent. It struggles to cut genuine leather (which was my sole reason for buying a cricut) but otherwise it works really well. Im learning new things I can do with it and it's really good
