I had no idea cocoa butter could do such nice things to scars! My physical therapist used it on me for scar therapy (I have a scar that goes from the middle of my back across to under my arm, so quite a large scar), so I bought this to use at home. Typically, my scars tend to widen a bit, sometimes just in one place, and they take a long time to lose their redness, but this, one of the largest scars I've gotten, is just a fine line, and is disappearing much faster than any of my other scars. I think the smell, although not a smell I'd describe as necessarily attractive (i.e., it's not one I would apply because of the perfume), is pleasant and not really noticeable. Absorption is very good, and I don't have a sticky feel afterwards.

This lotion is amazing. I heard there isn't really much you can do to combat stretch marks - you are either genetically prone to them or not. I have stretch marks from prior weight gain/loss so when I got pregnant I assumed my stomach would be covered. I used this every single day and didn't get a single stretch mark until the last week I was pregnant. I got 2 small ones on my stomach but frankly that was my fault because the last week I was pregnant was also the week of Christmas and I was eating approximately 200k calories a day. No lotion in the world was going to keep the stretch marks off from that quick weight gain. I also love the smell and feel of this lotion. I will continue to use it post pregnancy. Big fan.

Great buy

I have been using this product for 5 months now. I am almost 6 months pregnant. My skin looks so supple and glowy. I put it on everyday and even started to use it on my entire body. My skin doesnt feel stretched or too tight anymore.

I tried a ton of different products trying to find something that would fade the appearance of my stretch marks, after months of no success I finally tried Palmer's, and within a week and a half I noticed results.

AMAZING

All my pregnant ladies. Listen. I used Earth Mama Belly Butter from 12 weeks all the way through 35 weeks. Its great but it is nothing compared to this lotion. I started getting stretch marks around week 31 through 34. The Earth Mama lotion works for moisturization but that's really it. If you want to stop your stretch marks in their tracks, USE THE PALMERS COCOA BUTTER LOTION! I love this stuff way more than anything I have used so far. You can put it on in the morning and when you take a bath at night, you will feel the lotion still on your belly as you wash it off! This stuff definitely works. I love it!

Hydrating lotion that isn't heavy

There are a lot of pregnancy creams out on the market all promising the same thing - reduced stretch marks and hydration for your stretching skin. Many of them come with a hefty price tag, but this cocoa butter cream from Palmers is reasonably priced and seems to be working well. After receiving a sample from a store, I was hooked. It's not greasy but does pack the hydration. I started using this in the second trimester - after starting to show - and haven't seen any new stretch marks since. I'm not sure if that's genetics or the cream, but for less than $5, I plan to keep using this. Because it makes my skin feel soft and hydrated but isn't heavy, I've also starting using it on my hands. The scent is nice but not strong, which is good if you're sensitive to fragrance in skincare products. Very happy with purchase.

The best all-over body lotion!

LOVE this lotion!!! Not only does it deeply moisturize my growing pregnancy belly but it is a perfect all-over moisturizer as well. I have zero issues with stretch marks and itchiness when I use it. This lotion has a medium consistency thickness that is NOT greasy, spreads and absorbs well, and has a nice very, very light scent. Also a little bit goes a long way. Since using this all over I have noticed better skin tone on my legs along with less noticeable leg pores (which has been a long time problem for me). It also has helped my dry heels and edges of big toes more than any other lotion I've tried. I have also tried the "cream" version of this lotion and honestly I don't notice much of a difference between the two other than thickness. I'll be sticking with this lotion!

Rich, creamy, and highly moisturizing with a light, fresh scent!

I LOVE this lotion! I tried it out for the first time after being in the hot sun for a few hours, and it immediately felt very soothing. I was happy to find that it was thick and creamy, but absorbed quickly into my skin. Even better, it left my skin feeling noticeably and comfortably soft and moisturized for hours afterward. Another plus for me is that it has a scent that is present, but very light and fresh, and does not linger. The pump dispenser worked perfectly—no issues! I used the lotion all over my body, focusing a little more on areas where I do have stretch marks—hoping for results after 8-weeks! I plan on using this lotion not only for stretch marks, but for general use as well—I’ll definitely be putting some in my travel bottle and keeping it on hand in my purse.

Best cream available- only thing that actually worked!

I never write product reviews, but I feel compelled to help other ladies- this stuff is amazing. I have stretch marks on my hips from weight lifting. They're silver/white at this point. I tried Bio-oil for months 2x/day- no results. Tried this, and within a couple weeks the marks were less noticeable and smoother. Even my husband noticed without my mentioning anything! The cream is so moisturizing but not too thick. I can put on clothes right away without an issue. Very light scent- I have a sensitive nose and it never bothers me. Now we're trying for a baby and I've slathered it all over my belly/thighs/butt/chest to prepare! I am so confident in this stuff... and you can't beat the price. A bottle only lasts a few weeks if you use lots of it but truly, give it a try and you won't be sorry.

The absolute best!

I've actually used this product since high school 12 years ago. I my weight goes ups and down a lot and stretch marks were so bad and depressing when I was younger. Thus took them from as red as they could get to white. Honestly when I was younger to get rid if those steetchmarks made a HUGE difference mentally to me. Fast forward 11 years and I get pregnant! First product I buy is this. I got NO stretch marks and then remembered how much I loved using this on the daily anyways. So I bought more and will probably use this forever.
