I've been using these spoons for six years and they'd great. I don't use the "white hot" feature. I don't really notice that they changed that much and anyway, I always test my baby's food temperature myself rather than trust the spoon. These say you can't put them in the bottom rack Of the dishwasher - it probably ruins the temperature feature, but since I don't use that anyway, I do run them through the dishwasher and they've been great!

Perfect with a hidden safety feature!

I bought these as extra spoons to have on hand. They are very similar to the one’s I had as a kid. I ordered two packs because the price was so great. I didn’t realize until I received them that they had temperature sensing ends! I love that if the food is too hot the end turns white. Great safety feature!! I do find that the food has to be REALLY hot for them to turn, but I love the feature regardless.

Great Baby Product!

We loved these spoons so much with our first baby we bought more with our second. Color changing tips let you know when food is too hot for baby. Dishwasher safe. I would caution though that after multiple, many, many, uses, the plastic tips do start to come off so check spoons before using.

Love these spoons. Not gonna lie, I could care less about the heat feature. I make all my daughters food and don’t really heat most of it up to a high temperature - I bought these because they were cute colors and reminded me of the ones my mom used for us. So far no issues cleaning. The old ones when I was a baby would split on the sides over time, that hasn’t happened with these but I’ve only had them a few months. Homemade carrots did stain the pink spoon, not sure why, not a big deal to me though.

I love that they turn white when my little one's food is too hot. What a great feature! I will say that one of the spoons came with a sharp edge on the colored part, but they weren't very expensive, so we still ended up with three spoons we love for a great price. I even ended up purchasing a second set so I could spend extra time playing with my kiddo or snuggling if I didn't want to do dishes that day.

Dont put in dishwasher...

Dont put them in the dishwasher if it gets hot to sanitize... it damages the spoons ability to turn white when hot... so now none of them turn white when hot. I used them for a very short time period only bc it's such a tiny spoon and we didnt start baby food until 8 mos

good spoon choice.

I read some reviews about these that almost made me not buy these. I am glad I did purchase these spoons for my daughter. They are soft so she can chew them a bit with each bite, which she loves to do. They have a gentle and shallow spoon so the food goes easily into her mouth and I don’t have to raise the spoon to her nose to get the food out. If you are going to feed really thin liquids, as previously noted on some reviews, it will not work well, but then again, why would you use a spoon for really thin liquids? The handle is long easy for feeding and the spoon is light. The price is right so I can buy extras since I always misplace spoons. My mom bought some larger munchkin spoon with a shorter plastic handle and a larger deeper spoon. My daughter does no mind these either, but I find them a bit harder to feed. I would recommend.

Great spoons!

These little spoons were perfect for my 4 month old when we started on baby food. The size is just right and the soft spoon end made eating easy. I LOVE the fact that the spoon tip turns white when the food may be too hot. This is good for when I have to have others feed him and they may not be as careful as I am. The little heart cut outs on the handle are just an added cute feature.

Love these spoons

Love these spoons. I don't really utilize the safety feature because I have a sense of touch; but the size is perfect, the shape is shallow enough for my daughter to remove the food easily, and when learning to bite down, the silicon provides some forgiveness. Don't let babies chew on them though. They will invariably try to chew on the metal end and that hole seems to be begging for a tooth...
