I AM ASIAN. I HAVE LONG THICK HAIR. I ORIGINALLY BOUGHT THIS bc I got a HUGE tangle in my hair that I did NOT want to cut out (although yes, I will admit I have, in desperate times, tried to cut some of them out if they were on the underside of my hair 😳🤭🤫). Yes, I am admittedly an adult, and I yet HATE brushing my hair bc it is long and thick and gets the worst tangles sometimes. But I HATE BRUSHING MY HAIR MOST OF ALL BC OF ALL THE HAIR I LOSE WHEN I BRUSH IT. I mean I pull so much hair off my brush after each brushing, even with the best brushes I could find, it would worries me. I really don’t want to grow up to be a bald old lady. Plus I really really really really hate loose hair—if it is not attached to my head, I really don’t want to see it. Not on my clothes or the floor or the rug or the bed or the sheets or the counters or—you get the picture. But anyway, this product smells DIVINE, and that alone made me want to use it again, even though I didn’t have any knots in my hair. And I immediately noticed: I LOST ALMOST NO HAIR USING THIS PRODUCT when I brushed it! Yes it is made for the little snot nosed brats—I mean darlings, but sometimes we adults can benefit from their stuff too. And this was a very unexpected perk! Imagine brushing with a heavenly scented product that didn’t leave goopy crap in your hair and actually made it so you lost almost no hair brushing! I still hate brushing my hair, but I will say this: I have lost a LOT LESS HAIR brushing than I have ever lost in my entire life of hair brushing. And that is a HUGE DEAL for me. THANK YOU JOHNSON PEOPLE WHO WILL NEVER READ THIS LOL

My daughter hates me slightly less when doing her hair

Well, I'm a dad and I have a daughter who is 2.5 and wants me to put her hair in pigtails or ponytails, depending on her mood. She wakes up in the morning with the craziest hair. It is blonde and fine, but it is also pretty curly and it gets knotted fairly easily. So every morning, I spray this stuff in her hair. I don't know how it works. But, if I try to comb her hair without it, she loses her mind. She still whines a little bit as I get her hair into ponytails and pigtails but the brushing part seems to go much more smoothly now. Now, if I could only figure out how to get pigtails perfectly straight, I would have a completely satisfied toddler.

One of my best purchases. I have extremely tangled hair. Yes myself and not my child. I bought these for myself. It works great. I have owned different dealers prior to this one, and they all had one this in common. They all made my hair extremely greasy. This product will not do that. It is amazing. It makes it so much easier to brush your hair out. It really works. It worked both on my hair and my son's even though his is only very slightly tangled. One Thing A lot Of People Have Complained About WAS The fragrance. I don't think that is a problem. It smells great. It does not smell anymore than your regular shampoo and like I said I used it on my child and he was not bothered by it. I don't know if it was less fragrant in the past but it's really great. Its really works for what it's purpose. I will definitely be buying more in the future

Rated least harmful by EWG and works very well!

This is the best detangler for my daughter's thick and curly hair. We've tried everything under the sun, and this one beats them all. I do end up spraying a lot of it on her hair, but then, she has a lot of hair, too. It doesn't have an overwhelming smell and it doesn't make the hair greasy. You still have to be careful when combing through the hair, but it's not the herculean task that it is without this detangler. It says it's for babies, but I use it on my own hair as well. Last, but definitely not least, this product is rated as one of the least harmful detanglers by the EWG.

Perfect for thin hair!

I have very thin hair and have been looking for something that doesn't weigh my hair down. After reading reviews for this, I decided to try it. I was pleasantly surprised with how well it worked without making my hair look greasy! Smell is nice, no complaints. Worth the price!

Just ok

The plastic seal was missing but the caps were locked, but there was a little leaking when I received the package. I had to use more than I expected to get the tangles out. Seems kinda watery compared to a more high end brand. But this will do.

Such a great product

This detangler is amazing! My daughter gets giant mats in her hair in one night, a couple sprays allows me to brush right through her thick but thin strand hair like butter. We have tried so many different brushes and detanglers. This is the best! I also went and bought a detangler brush, but it works just fine with a regular brush.

Definitely recommend

I never write reviews but I just had to comment on this product, I have been looking for a detangler to use on dry hair, most say use only on wet hair but I needed one to use throughout the day while my hair is dry. This product was incredible, I am using this on myself, an older adult. My problem was I lost so much hair when trying to brush or detangle my hair but with this product I have lost less hair then anything I have tried. Truly a great product for ANY age, and the smell was a nice surprise as well. Definitely recommend!

Seriously; this stuff is timeless. I pack a bottle with me for the pool and beach and it works well to spritz and get thru saltwater hair to freshen up after surfing. Especially clutch in CA where the drought caused the state to cut off the public showers so when you bring your own to rinse off it helps to not have to wet down your hair to get thru it. Outta the water I spray then; comb thru and then a light rinse out and i'm ready to roll!

I bought this because I was looking for a detailing spray, and all I could find was leave in conditioner. I put the spray into an aerosol toe spray bottle, which just sprays it in a mist. Since using this, my hair detailed well, but I’ve not had any static!
