Good for pregnancy
Recommended by my OB to help with low iron deficiency anemia during my pregnancy! I take at night along with my prenatal and seems to be great. No complaints and any side effects I have are associated with normal pregnancy. Good price on Amazon too.

Proof is in the Blood test result
Doubled my Ferritin in 2 months. I take it on an empty stomach an hour after I've had my morning coffee and don't eat until at least an hour after taking it. No stomach discomfort. I take 200mg magnesium glycinate every night before bed so if it does cause constipation, I haven't noticed. Anyway I highly recommend this as the proof is in the blood test result i just got back and I significantly feel better lately.

Great for pregnancy
Edit: made it through pregnancy and postpartum and am still taking these. I would recommend continued use! I’m 28 weeks pregnant (3rd baby) and have been taking these for a week in addition to my prenatal, which has 27mg of iron. With my 2nd baby, my iron levels were normal as of my glucose screening, but dipped dangerously low by 30 weeks, putting me on iron infusions. I’m hoping to avoid the same fate this time...I’ll update with my levels in a few weeks! So far, I haven’t had any problems with aftertaste or nausea, and I am prone to both.

My doctor recommended this supplement after my iron levels went down even ...
My doctor recommended this supplement after my iron levels went down even though I was already using a different supplement. After only two months my ferritin went from 8 to 22, so I have to say I recommend this supplement. My hemoglobin went from 10 to 12.5 as well. So I have to say so far so good.

Easily absorbed
This brand was recommended by my doctor and seems to be working well. The doc recommended that it not be taken with food or supplements that contain calcium as calcium inhibits iron absorbtion.

Great if you have low iron
I've had low iron problem for years and the Blood Bank wouldn't even take my blood. So I started using these supplements and the problem is gone. Sometimes you don't know if supplements are doing anything, but in this case, you know quickly. I'm not sure about other products but I've been using this one for a long time and can say that it works. No side-effects. Well, that's not totally true. When you're low on iron you tend to get tired. So the side-effect is that I don't get tired as much and that's a good thing.

RLS, it WORKS!
I purchased this supplement when it was suggested for a treatment to Restless Leg Syndrome. IT WORKS! Thank you so much for this product, I really thought that I was going to be in misery for the rest of my life!

Iron level went up 5pts in 1 month
I am pregnant and have been taking this iron supplement (1 pill a day) for a month now. My iron levels when checked at a prenatal appointment a month ago was low at 10.2. I knew it was low even though I had been taking a natures made iron supplement way before that appointment. I was extremely tired even though I was getting good sleep. I was taking a nap 2 hours after waking up in the morning. I could not keep my eyes open! I’d say 2 weeks in I noticed that I was nowhere near as tired as I had been. I stopped having to take naps and I felt so much better. Today, my iron levels were checked a month later and it was at 15.2! I was not expecting that. Even the nurse was shocked at how much it went up. I do take the pills with coconut water which has lots of Vit C. That could have helped too. The only negative thing I have to say about this would be about the burps. Omg, the burps are terrible if you do not take this with a heavy meal. I would definitely recommend not taking it at breakfast but at dinner.

Seems potent, and occasional burps not "disgusting" as expected
I was seriously freaked out by the reviews that described "disgusting" burps. Like, you know those burps that you get when you've eaten some bad food and you're inevitably going to throw up? That truly disgusting burp that tastes like rotten eggs in your mouth? That's what I was expecting. So when I burped for the first time after taking these pills and sensed a faint metallic taste, I was so relieved! So they're not that disgusting, in my opinion anyway, but I can imagine how they would be annoying day in and day out. You should be able to avoid them by taking the pill before bed. Alternatively, you can take the pill on an empty stomach, possibly endure some burps for an hour or two, and then eat. You can also take the pill with food but just be aware that you will be dramatically reducing the amount of iron that can be absorbed. Having said all that, this pill seems pretty potent and the vitamin C is both necessary and convenient for me. I have some stomach upset but that's par for the course. I've taken "gentle iron" supplements before which had zero side effects but clearly didn't provide as much iron as I needed. I have not been anemic in a long time, my blood iron and hemoglobin and rest of CBC always look normal, but a couple months ago my nurse thought to request a ferritin analysis. My iron stores were in the single digits (~5 ng/mL). I will update my review with the results of my next blood draw in a month or two! *** Edit (02/09/2019): My ferritin score went up to 17 ng/mL last month, so I will continue taking these and update again when that number hopefully increases even more. However, one of my nurses told me that taking an iron supplement every other day can be more effective than taking one every single day. I looked up a few studies, and this actually seems to be true. Get more bang for your buck and save yourself some tummy trouble. :)

Ferritin from 23 to 67 in 5 months
My ferritin levels went from 23 to 67 in 5 months of taking this daily, yay! One way to get past the nasty burps is to take them before you go to bed. I will continue to take Vitron C until my numbers return to optimum level.
