This stuff is amazing! I use once a week to keep my skin clear and smooth. I even keep a small container of it pre made with vinegar in my bathroom for quick spot treatments. I mix with organic apple cider vinegar to make a thing paste then smooth it on with a pastic spoon. I line a small glass with a plastic zip lock bag for easy clean up. The mask starts to tighten up within 15 minutes and leave it on for at least 20 minutes then take a shower to rinse it off with a washcloth. I also have used it in my hair, my underarms and upper arms for KP. I used this as a hair mask with the following recipe: 1/4c water, 1/4c apple cider vinegar, a few drops of lavender oil and 1 tbsp of coconut oil then mixed in enough powdered clay to make a very thin paste (used a little more vinegar to continue to thin it out). I let the fizzing go away then I applied to wet hair and really let it get to the roots. I let it sit for 15 minutes then jumped into the shower to rinse off. Left my hair smelling good because of the lavender oil however it was a little greasy because of the coconut oil. Next time, I will leave the coconut oil out since I have thin hair. Honestly, you could use this for an entire body mask!

Magic??

Listen, I'm not saying aliens had something to do with this product, but they did build the Aztec temples, and I've never seen a pic of an alien with a blemish. This stuff is incredible. I have sensitive skin and stuff like this usually breaks me out, but this magic powder, mixed with ACV, no less, just made me red for a little bit, and left me feeling smooth like butter. It did drag up more dirt than a girl with an internet connection with a grudge, but unlike Jessica who ruined my life for a brief period of time, this made me feel good about myself. I use it for spot treatments daily (fewer and further between as the days go by), and once a week I use it as an all over mask. And it's a whole pound. 2 tablespoons lasted me 2 weeks. I'll have to leave this tub to my kids in my will one day cause I'll still have it. It feels really good when it dries and you move your face for the first time, kind of like your face is the soft side of the velcro and the mask is the hook part and someone is pulling them apart slowly. Your face will be red for a little bit, but that goes away. Also, with ACV, it stinks to high heaven. But ohhhh so worth it. :) Anyway. Get it. It has like a billion positive reviews, it's no joke.

Pore size, redness

Love it! At first I mixed it with water because I was nervous to put apple cider vinegar on my face. Mixed with water it was very clumpy, but I could still feel my face "pulsating." After a couple uses I decided to use it with apple cider vinegar. I use the Bragg's Organic Raw Unfiltered ACV. It made my face really red but that is completely normal. I would NOT recommend using this product before going out. In fact, I would only use it before bed to give your face time to recover. This product makes my pimples reduce in size so I do not have to pop them anymore. I have sensitive skin and big pores. I have not noticed a huge change in my pore size but it helps my acne. After I use the mask I always moisturize with Finest Nutrition Topical Vitamin E Skin Oil which can be found on Amazon. Give the Healing Clay a try but do not get discouraged by the redness!

I’m confused as to how some of you can’t figure out how to mix this and that’s the only reason I’m writing a review. Add a little acv to a bowl. Slowly add the clay and mix until the desired consistency. It shouldn’t come out chunky and the negative reviews because of something so simple that you can’t do is ridiculous. I prefer it on the thinner side. ALSO, if you have sensitive skin don’t leave it on so long or add more water. It clearly states that skin will turn red. My face is sensitive and turned red and definitely was a little dried out after. Nothing some moisturizer couldn’t fix. Completely wiped away any signs of the stress cystic acne I’ve had over the past month or so. Highly recommend. Along with anything, always do research first.

Works Miracles. Consistently. Literally the best mask I've ever used.

This product is AMAZING. It's an official Holy Grail product of mine. I ideally use it once-a-week, and it feels as if angels themselves have taken the time, to delicately renew my skin with the magical touch of their wings. Ok, but really. I wear foundation daily, have combination and sensitive skin, and require hypo-allergenic products. I truly feel this product is a part of why it maintains week after week break-out free. I mix with equal parts water and vinegar and use the sensitive-skin time recommendation to avoid over-drying or any tenderness afterward, moisturize after and I'm good to go! I also find it works WONDERS as a spot treatment for the pimples that do happen to appear every-so-often. I love this stuff, use it often, and it still lasts FOREVER. Literally the best mask I've ever used.

Magic in a jar!

TL/DR: This stuff WORKS! Now for the full review: My daughter and I have been using this for a few months now and we're very happy with the results. She's 18 and has hormonal cystic acne and combination skin. I'm 53 and have very dry, mature skin. This works wonderfully for both of us. She mixes it with apple cider vinegar and I use water. The first time I used it I felt like it was really drying my skin out, but once I rinsed it off I was fine. The slight redness I had was from increased circulation, NOT irritation, and was gone in minutes. No dryness or tightness at all. The gentle exfoliation allows serums, etc. to really penetrate and work better. My daughter breaks out less often, and spot treating any stray pimples she does get dries them right up. Her dark spots from prior breakouts have also faded. I use Thayers rose witch hazel afterward and My. Skin. Glows. There's a free book online all about bentonite clay, what it is, how it's harvested, and why it works, that is very interesting. I don't understand all the science, but the results speak for themselves! There's even a version you can safely take internally (NOT this product) to detoxify yourself from the inside out. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone. Just follow the directions carefully and let the magic begin!

THIS MASK WORKS

I’ve been using this mask for a little over a week now. I use it with apple cider vinegar. Since I had pimples I used it EVERY night. For about 20 minutes (or until I felt my face pulsate a little). This is the only thing that has ever worked for me. And I have tried EVERYTHING to fix my skin. My skin seemed to look even worse when I’d try to wash it, tone it etc. I tried cheap brand and expensive brands. And all in all I probably spent 100s of dollars on acne care. I was to the point where I gave up and Decided to live with the acne. But this mask is like the holy grail of acne solutions. I posted my results. The left is the first day after doing the mask. The right is today after doing the mask for a little over a week. It doesn’t totally take away acne scars, but it takes away the pimples for sure. If your on the fence about this product BUY IT! This is my only ever review on amazon becuase it actually does work if your consistent with it!!

Amazing for low-porosity, 4c natural hair.

The pictures above are from the very first time I ever used this mask and I haven't looked back since. I have very very thick low-porosity, high density 4c hair and it felt like whenever I put products on my hair it would just sit on top of my strands. I've been natural for about 4 years and I never felt like my hair was ever soft, easy to manage and shed A LOT. I used this mask and all that has changed. Immediately after the mask my hair was incredibly soft, my curls (which I didn't know I had) were defined, and I followed up with a deep condition that actually moisturized my hair. I the powder with some apple cider vinegar (with the mother), added some olive oil (not necessary but good moisture boost) and applied it from scalp to tip. My scalp tingled and pulsated in a way it never has before. I could literally feel the buildup being sucked out of my scalp. Now I have no build up, barely any dandruff, and my hair accepts moisture and doesn't excessively shed. I highly, highly highly recommend. I use it every time I take my hair out of a protective style and try to do it every 4-6 weeks. The bottle has lasted me about 4 deep conditions but I have a lot of hair so if you have a more 'normal' amount of strands, it'd last you longer. Worth every penny and I'll be buying this for life. It's completely changed my hair.

WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG TO ORDER THIS!?!?!

So I’ve contemplated purchasing this mask for over a year. I just received it a week ago and I’m so glad that I did decide to buy!!! First of all, I have very oily, acne-prone, sensitive skin. After going off birth control I went from pretty clear skin to blackheads, whiteheads, and clogged pores all over and cystic acne with scarring on my back and neck/chin. Most acne products break me out worse- salicylic acid, retinoids, etc. do not work for me. Benzoyl peroxide works briefly, then stops and I hate the bleached towels, clothes, etc. I also have sensitive eyes and many creams and cosmetics make them itchy and watery. I tried organic coconut oil method and it gave me terrible eczema. A year 1/2 ago I went to the dermatologist and was put on antibiotics and an expensive cream. Luckily the cream had a coupon and it somewhat worked, but the antibiotics upset my stomach. I went to get a refill and the coupon had run out. It would be several hundred dollars!!! I still had acne, so it just wasn’t worth it. I tried an over the counter retinoid but the retinization process didn’t stop like it should’ve. The acne worsened and the redness, dryness and sore, cracked skin was unbearable. So I ordered this. I used a tablespoon of it mixed with a tablespoon of organic, unfiltered acv with the mother. I didn’t have a fancy brush, just used my fingers. It kind of bubbles up. I put it on my upper back where I break out, face and neck/upper chest. It says on the canister you will feel your face pulsate. They don’t lie!!! I let it sit for about 20-30 min. It is the tightest mask I’ve ever used. You can’t move! I rinsed in the shower with a washcloth. It takes a while to get it all off. My skin was red, which it says is normal. It feels awesome! Then I use a rose water witch hazel toner and follow with aloe Vera gel. At first I thought once a week, but then I read that’s for normal skin, and you can use it more than once a week. I’m going with every other day or two. I’ve used it 3 times now. My upper back is the clearest it’s been in a long time- already! My face is clearing up. It’s INCREDIBLE! On off days I wash in the am and pm with milf soap, uses rose water witch hazel toner and the aloe Vera gel. In the am I do the same but instead of aloe I use spf lotion under makeup. I don’t wear a lot of makeup and hope to make it even less as skin clears. Sorry for the long review, but if this can help anyone in the same boat I’ll be happy!!!!

Miracle product! Few pointers...

I swear by this product. I’ve had moderate acne for ~15 years and tried quiet a few different products. For me, this one WORKS— I haven’t had skin this clear since elementary school. A few points to know, though: 1. YES, this does make your face red. I have fair skin and you can clearly see where I’ve applied the mask when it’s washed off. HOWEVER the redness always goes away within 10-20 minutes. Maybe don’t put it on if you have to go out in public immediately after. 2. BE CONSISTENT! This made me break out badly when I first started using it, as it pulled the deep- buried bacteria and dirt out of my skin. Probably lasted for 3-5 days before things started clearing up. However, when my skin cleared and I was using it consistently (3-4 times a week) my skin was FLAWLESS. If you’re like me and have struggled with acne for years this way, it feels like a miracle. 3. Don’t use metal bowls or spoons to mix it, the toxins in the metals will be pulled into the clay. Plastic or wood only. 4. Don’t wash this down the drain, it’s sediment that will clog the drain if you do it enough. I use a washcloth and large mixing bowl, and throw the bowl water into the yard when I’m done cleaning it off. 5. I use an old makeup brush to stir and apply the mask. I’ve found it makes the mask creamier and easier to apply than fingers or spoons. Make sure to consistently clean the brush after use, or else it will harbor harmful bacteria. 6. I’ve used this on mosquito bites and sunburns too! Makes the itching stop and seemed to speed the healing process. Love it! I’d highly recommend this product and have gotten several friends and family members to use it too. Give it a try!
