Good for nuts

Growing up in Connecticut we had metal nut crackers and nut picks that looked exactly like these. We always had a bowl of assorted nuts on the table during the holidays. It was a pleasant way to sit and chat while cracking nuts, one at a time. Everyone had their favorite type of nut so there was always something for everyone. It was a surprise to find that they were shellfish tools. Whether for nuts or shellfish this set is much like what I remember. Works fine. Meets my needs.

very useful

I don't use them for seafood but i do use them as a nut cracker. my bird is getting older so she has a hard time cracking brazil nuts so i crack them for her with these. she is very happy about this and that makes me happy
