I have been wearing these Dickies for about 15 years, not just Dickies, but these exact Dickies. The loose fit, double knee, with multi use pocket and fat belt loops. I am finally retiring a pair that I have had for 10 years, In fact, Im not even retiring them, I'm just not wearing them in public any more due to all the holes and tears. I haven't changed pant size since high school, so I can literally wear clothes down to the threads. Plus I'm a cheap skate and don't like to spend money on clothes. These aren't like other Dickies. Like the ones you find at stores like, say Wal-Mart. They may be labeled the same, but they aren't. That's not to say you can't buy these at stores, just be careful. There are cheap versions of these that are labeled the same, but in fact are of a much lower quality. These pants are thicker, heavier duty, more comfortable, better fit, and longer lasting. You can tell the difference easily if you look. These pants have a wider belt loop than the cheap ones, These feel a bit thicker, and they say "loose fit" on the inside of the waist band. For me the fit is as expected. Of course I've been wearing these so long, I don't need to try them on before buying. They are relaxed fit. If you normally wear say a 31" waist regular, this will be loose and will require a belt (or sagging - to each his own). They are not so baggy to be obnoxious. They are the prefect "looseness". Also the bottom of the legs is not like other Dickies, or other pants, generally speaking. They really don't taper at all, so they cover the shoe nicely. I wear a 10.5 shoe, and with bare feet, I can bend my toes up and fit my foot inside the bottom of the pant leg (straight across). I like this feature, because I can wear my work boots, and have the pant legs cover up most of the boot, keeping them cleaner. The pants really hold up well, even in working environments, wearing them every day. They hold up to just about everything except fire. Fire will put holes in them quickly. Chemicals and stains are for the most part no match for these pants. They will stain of course, with the right substance, and without proper washing techniques. No big deal, to be expected. Fabric softener will drastically reduce the life of your pants. I don't use it for this reason. i like my Dickies a "little stiff". They come stiff as a board but after one wash, they are good for me. I guess that's it. Great long lasting pants that look and fit better than any other...in my opinion.

This is the second pair of these pants I have purchased for my husband. The first pair I purchased on amazon Dec of 2016. No holes or ripped belt loops. They fit him very well. He works outdoors, getting dirty, lifting, bending, etc. He's a 42-34. You will not be disappointed. They are not like the Dickies that are in Walmart that tears after about a month or feels like cardboard. Well worth the money and the sizes are true. No need to order bigger or smaller than you normally wear. Hope this helps anyone on the fence in purchasing one.

I have been wearing this style of Dickie work pant for 6 years. I have always bought them from the "W" store because they had them in stock and the convienant factor. Well......that "W" store quit selling my pants, so Amazon saved the day once again. I ordered 5 pairs of 36x32 loose fit double knee dark navy pants. 4 pants were made in Mexico and 1 pant was made in Honduras. The 1 pant from Honduras was a tad tighter in the waistline, but it still fits (time to loose some weight). I did notice some GOOD differences from the Amazon Dickie pants versus the "W" store Dickie pants. Amazon Dickies: -metal clasp front closure -deeper front pockets -button up LEFT back pocket -WAY thicker belt loops 1 1/8" thick X 2" long (7 of them) -better made zipper -material is thicker "W" Dickies: -button up front closure -shallow front pockets -No buttons on back pockets -very thin belt loops 1/2" X 2 1/8" long (7 of them) -cheap zipper -thinner material We will see how these last, but so far I am very satisfied with Amazons Dickie work pants. I provided pictures of the two side by side. The darker pair are from Amazon and the lighter (worn) pair are from "W" store. CPS

My husband needed some new work pants, mostly for knocking around in garage/yard/woods messing with cars and motorcycles, firewood, etc. He keeps messing up his jeans and wanted Dickies brand because his buddy had some. They are very nice pants for the price here on Amazon, where his buddy bought them, a brick and mortar store, they cost about $10 more. It's not a true boot leg, but the leg is really designed to be worn with work boots because they kind of cover running shoes, almost drag the heel. I would say if anything, the leg is just a tad long, my husband has to fold the cuff when he wears running shoes, but they fit over ankle high boots great. They have a cool little pocket (It's not really secret, but I needed a hook to get you to read) on the right leg, it's supposed to be for a cell phone, but I found when doing laundry you can put screws and washers and pliers and a screwdriver, with room to spare (the pocket has little Dickies brand label/patch so everybody can see you wear Dickies and thus are COOL). At least I found the screws, etc. before going in the wash. Speaking of the wash, they are REALLY stiff when you get them. After we made sure they fit well, I washed them in cold on two long agitation cycles with a soak inbetween, they softened up a little bit and didn't shrink any or lose color. After about 5 or 6 wear and wash cycles they hold color and wash up well in cold with other darks. They are totally broken in now, they don't get as soft as camo fatigues because the material is thicker/heavier to give an idea of material thickness/heaviness if you know real Army type fatigues. You just need to hang them up out of the dryer for no wrinkles, you don't have to iron them, unless you want a crease for some reason. He has had them over a month, wears them on the weekend/ after work knocking around, but they could be everyday professional work pants as well. They are much better than the pants you get from a uniform service at a job, at least the ones I have dealt with, worn at past jobs. Double knee, thick material all over, solid construction and seams, big belt loops that keep the belt situated right at the waist (really nice touch for guys that don't have 6 packs, if you know what I mean). Hubby liked the wide belt loops, When he showed me, I got 2 thumbs up on those! These have become his new BLACK jeans (cool, tough, 63 year old, LOL), he likes them so much I ordered a second pair for him. I could easy see paying up to $40 for pants of this quality, TRUE work pants for less than $30 (they sell for more at other stores), SUPER PRICE-SUPER QUALITY, buy them for your husband and maybe he will be SUPER too....Or not...But his pants will still look good. 5 STARS

I have been wearing Dickies' loose fit double knee pants for over 10 years now. These fit exactly as expected. These are true to size, meaning that if you measure your waist, and inseam, and then purchase based off of that you should get a proper fit. Most of my jeans (from other brands) are labeled 2 - 3 inches smaller than what they actually are. Before buying these, please measure. I can't really stress that enough. My waist is a 34.5" and inseam is a 31". I ordered the 34x30, and they fit as they should. I play rugby, and while I do not have huge thighs (28'), most jeans are a bit tighter than what I like. These are not overly loose, and fit well. The only thing about these that I am not thrilled about, is that they Dickies logo no longer matches the color of the pant, unless you get black pants.

I wear Cintas uniforms... and like EVERYONE at work says...including me.... uniform pants seems to be sized 1 step down from jeans... I wear a 38x32 jeans and they fit great... so I have 38x32 Cintas uniform pants and they fit like 36x32.....not very roomy but fit....attempts to loose weight and or get larger pants failed because the uniform guy shows up at 6am...and is gone by the time I get to work...so I bought a few of these to get me by.. until I see the uniform guy...I ordered 40x32 Dickies Loose fit pants.... Loose fit.... These arrived and fit as expected....the size 40 fit me like a 38 jean...HOWEVER the loose fit gives me a bit more room in the leg, which is nice...the double knee is nice....it is a 7x7 inch patch of fabric sewn on top of the knee..not really noticable, but nice.... the belt loops are small....like 1 1/2 inch wide....and the loops are wide, which keeps the belt in place.the pants closure is a dress pant like metal slide, not a button..the feel, the look is all quality.the pockets are nice, and the pocket lining is thicker than normal dress pants..making things feel secure......the only issue I have is...these are a bit long.... I wear a 38x32 these are a 40x32 and fit like a 40x34... I just rolled the bottom up to keep from stepping on them once in a while....I will keep these because they are great and awesome, and fit very nice! if "I" were to order again, I would order 40x30.Very nice, very durable, feels slightly heavier than paper thin uniforms, fit great.....

I repair appliances and spend much of my time on my knees. Our company provided uniform pants tended to rip at the crotch so I've been looking around for a better pant. These have survived longer than any pair I've used with no obvious loosening of the seams or other unwanted changes. The color is near perfect. I do wish that they had a opening or vent to insert pads into the double knees. However there is a solution since they have double knees. I cut a small horizontal slit in the inner layer of knee material near the top and was able to slip a rolled up square of neoprene between the layers then unroll it. So far this has worked great, and allows me to remove the pad when worn out.

My husband has this type of pants for years. He uses them for work. Years of washing didn’t fray the fabric. The new pair was exactly the same as the old ones. The “loose fit” feature is good for movement and not tight around the crotch and thighs. The brand new ones have a fabric that feels tough but since it is loose and not sticking to the skin, it feels airy not hot. With frequent washing, I assure you the fabric softens as years go by but It still durable. These pants have additional side Secret pocket along the leg. My husband said he liked that because that where he put a tool that I don’t know how is it called. I will just call it a curved small cutter. The appearance is not bad, just a normal work pants. My conclusion is these are affordable long-lasting pants, perfect for our hardworking husbands.

I purchased these because my old work pants that I wear at Culver's had been ripped apart, and stained with all sorts of chemicals like bleach. These are a little baggy since they are loose fit, but I only mention this to remind anyone thinking about buying these of that fact, as I made the mistake of not seeing or ignoring that, and they are a little too loose for me, or at least were at first before some hot dryer cycles. Overall, these pants are solid, have not torn or ripped yet, and they are comfortable to work in. Would recommend.

I love these pants! They fit perfectly. The bottoms are a little bit more bell than I would like, but overall they fit great. When I'm standing, you can't see the laces on my boots. The side pocket on the right leg is far enough above the right knee to put your cell phone in. And not just any cell phone; I put a 5.7 inch cell phone in the pocket and it slid in smoothly. It was also no trouble to get it out. The front pockets are of ample size and nicely positioned. They also rest nice and flat when your standing upright. The only complaints I can muster are the belt loops barely fit an inch and a half belt, there are two Dickies labels stitched to the outside; one on the cell pocket and one on the left knee (I don't advertise for free), and there is some pilling on the front of the thighs after a few wears. I'd recommend these to a friend, and I will buy these again soon.
