I feel like I only write reviews on items I love, and this is no exception. This is a staple in our house; we live in Colorado and it is so dry all year round. My daughter and hubby always have this little bottle by their beds. It is gentle, soothing and refreshing, my youngest thinks it makes her eyes sparkle.... I like the natural ingredients and we all definitely prefer this to the well-know major brand. Similasan make a sound product and is a name you can trust.

Lifelong customer!!!

Always use Similasan for any eye problems. I wear contacts and have allergies so I often deal with gunk in my eyes. The prescription meds cost upwards of $100 for a tiny, tiny bottle that lasts maybe a week with daily use. This has proven to work just as well and a tenth of the price. Plus it is easily available and I don't have to see a doctor either. I highly recommend all of their eye products. I am a lifelong customer!!

It works better than expensive brands!

We've used many types of allergy eye drops over the years. Some really expensive brands. Some that stung and some that just didn't work. This is by far the best we've found. Not only is it more reasonably priced over competitors but it doesn't sting at all. Glad we tried it!

like the eye drops w chemicals in them

My eyeballs say thank you every time I drop some of this stuff in each of them. Use as much or as little as you want, it's all natural. No burn, for me anyway, like the eye drops w chemicals in them.

Replaced all my "chem" allergy meds with similasan products.

Was treated with homeopathic stuff as a kid/teen, but it never worked. Tried this to get a break using OTC steroids. This works as good as any of those, if not better (at least for me), without the "side effects" from using steroids (bad wound healing/stress on kidney/liver etc).

Very effective, and no harmful chemicals

This is wonderful to have when traveling; easy to use and very effective. Also, it's homeopathic, so no harmful chemicals. I found it when I was traveling in Austria and like to have it with me, although I use a simpler rinse at home (Physician's Care(c)). I believe this brand is Swiss; I've found the Swiss formulate excellent natural treatments.

I highly recommend this product

This is amazing. I had severely burning and itching eyes sensitive to light. After the first application I can see a change. My eyes were hurting pretty bad so it took about three to four applications but a big big Improvement. I highly recommend this product.

Soothes the allergy without drying out my eyes like the antihistamine eye drops.

Works great.

This worked great for me and I like that it is homeopathic and in a glass bottle (with a plastic tip you squeeze to drop into your eyes). It did take about 20 minutes to relieve the itching. I no longer need it though as I figured out the underlying issue to my itchy eye/skin attacks...histamine intolerance. I realized all the foods (all extremely healthy and paleo) I was eating were high in histamine. Since changing my diet to low histamine foods I haven't had itchy eyes anymore. Unless you go to a doctor of natural medicine you will have to figure this out on your own by adjusting your diet if you think this may be your issue as it isn't recognized by traditional doctors.

These are just wonderful

I have a real problem with dry, painful allergy eyes. It get so bad sometimes that if I accidentally rub my eyes even lightly it HURTS! I've tried the red-out type of drops which never really help. Then I was told anti redness ingredients, especially ones that end in "line," can make things worse over time, which it did. I tried so many different formulations from all the name brands I'm familiar with and it never really helped. Even the extra dry eye Visine, (one of the few that had no ingredients that end in "line,) just made my eyes wet but still uncomfortable. I saw a review of these and decided to try them. My eyes felt better almost immediately! It's like a miracle. The label lists some herbs and not the long chemical medicines they say you need. I have no idea how they work, I don't care. My eyes feel NORMAL again and I will make sure I have these on hand from now on. ---- I bought the dry eyes version of this brand one time when the store was out of the allergy eyes version. I didn't like the dry eyes version as much, but it was still much more soothing that anything else I've tried.
