• AMMEX vinyl gloves are an excellent choice for food service, salon, janitorial, and other light industrial applications.
  • Vinyl is a synthetic material made from polyvinyl chloride (PVC). It is less elastic than nitrile and latex, giving it a looser fit and a smooth, comfortable feel. It helps prevent allergic reactions to latex protein.
  • Powder-free gloves leave no residue, reducing the risk of contamination.
  • 4 mil thick around the palm and fingers and 9 1/2 inches from the tip of the finger to the cuff of the glove.
  • The gloves come in small, medium, large, and extra large sizes, in boxes of 100 and cases of 1000.

For people concerned about which size to get: I have all around small hands and the small size fits me perfectly. Some other reviewers have expressed that they have small hands and the smalls were too tight. My hands are very small bone structure wise, my fingers are really skinny (for example I wear size 3.5 or 3.75 rings) and my palm is thin, and my wrists are thin. If you simply have short fingers and palms, which a lot of people mean when they say they have small hands, size small might be too tight for you. Anyway, I started ordering these gloves about two years ago and have been through three or four boxes so far. I initially bought them for cleaning, but I have also used them for applying hair dye and for preparing raw meat. They work well for all applications I have used them for so far.

I purchased this so that when I have to touch meat or making food for lots of people, I can use these. I bought it around $5 for the box and that was the price range that I was looking for. Very pleased with the product.

I am very pleased with these gloves. They are thick enough that I can actually take them off and reuse them. I know they're meant to be disposable but if I just use one for something quick it's worth it (to me anyway) to save. I love to clean with Lysol wipes but hate the smell they leave on my skin. These gloves do not allow those smells to leach through. I will definitely buy again. Just to give you an idea for sizing I am 5' 5" and weigh about 135 lb. I purchased a size medium which fit with just a little bit of wiggle room. I hope this helps.

I was looking for gloves to use while handling raw meat in the kitchen. Having an infant means I have to ensure that my hands are scrupulously clean at all times and after looking at endless similar gloves on Amazon I settled on these. I must say they are awesome and do the job well. I have very slim hands and the size s has a super fit, the thickness is also just right, thin enough for you to have a good grip on slippery raw meat but thick enough not to bunch up on itself. The fit at the wrist is also perfect for me. This is definitely a keeper in my kitchen and will become a definite staple.

Perfect gloves for cosmetic applications, especially benzoyl peroxide wash and paste. With these gloves, you can protect your skin from getting dried out and irritated. I use only one glove per application to be more economical. They fit as well as could be expected, it takes a little effort to get the widest part of my hand in, but the finger length and width are good (I got large - I'm sure medium would be too small and XL too large).

For about 3 months, my hands have been itching for up to an hour after removing latex gloves. Nothing will remedy the itch except hand cream and an anti~histamine. Before this, I wouldn't have said that I am allergic to latex but I'm sure I've developed an allergy after years of using latex gloves, daily. I only use it for food prep so I don't need sterile gloves. These are comfortable and actually fit better than the latex and the price is 1/3 the cost of latex. Will buy from now on. They are cheaper than nitrile.

The sizing is "true" compared to some other products I have purchased. Usually small is still too large but these are definitely a small. The medium is around 7mm larger than the small. We use all the sizes but have trouble finding Small and Medium locally. My daughter and I use the smaller ones, the guys in the family use Large/XLarge. They fit well and have a bit easier stretch if you draw them on slowly while waggling your fingers a bit. This brand is sturdy enough to last through dishwashing, some gardening, food prep, tub scrubbing, etc. As a reference I'd say you'd be able to keep from wearing a hole in them for at least 15 minutes hard scrubbing if your fingernails are shorter. They don't poke through anywhere but the fingertips (fingernails) after vigorous scrubbing with a scouring pad, rings don't bother them in my experience. More than enough time to complete most household tasks for me. Very satisfied as they fit my needs perfectly.

Easy on, easy off (for reuse) and remarkably strong. Go on and off way better than nitrile. Latex is hard on, hard off, and then it tears or punctures. I will buy these again. No more nitriles for me. Latex still good for dexterity. Note: Vinyl is not a rubber so do not expect it to STRETCH over your hand. If a certain size latex works for you, get vinyl in a size larger. These are very inexpensive disposable gloves. They are not WORK gloves. They hold up very well for what they are but do not expect miracles from a 4 cent glove. Good resistance to many chemicals but some will attack them. This is true of everything.

I use these a lot in the kitchen especially for handling raw meat so it doesn't get under my fingernails and I can easily hold the bloody wrapper in my hand and pull the gloves off over it so everything stays contained and sanitary. I also use them when I'm cutting up strong smelling foods like onions and garlic if I'm concerned about that smell soaking into my hands or if I have chapped skin or cuts. They are thin so I only use them for quick and messy jobs, when I try to do longer tasks like washing dishes they quickly develop holes and leak...

I found these gloves perfect for any number of uses around the home or workshop. I like the fact that they are a sturdy 4 mil thick and are plenty strong to protect my hands when I’m staining or painting. They haven’t torn on me or fallen apart during use as some others brands have. I bought the X-large and find they barely fit my hands, so they do run a bit small in size. I suggest buying them one size up from what you think you need. They are also handy when applying transdermal medication to cats, dogs, and goats. I use one when I apply external flea and heartworm meds to my dogs and when I have to put a medicated thyroid gel on a cat and medicated powders on goats. Overall, very much worth five stars for price and utility.
