I'm 62 , 5 11' 200 LBS . Favorite store are Banana Republic, Macy's and have been in the apparel business all of my life so I know around a shoe store. The thought of owning never mid wearing a pair of Crocs anything never entered my mind . That all changed seven years ago when I was given a pair of Santa Cruz as a gift .As a runner all of my life I have always struggled with shoes being comfortable enough as I have a huge bunion on my right that makes one foot wider than the other . The moment I put the Cruse on I noticed its fit was relaxed and yet perfect . The key to the this shoe is the insert and how supportive it is , I feel I can walk all day and not feel fatigued . Now for how it looks , I love it with jeans or shorts , its incredibly cool . After wearing for a while ( never with sox ) they can become odorous so I take the insert out and wash them seperatly and let dry naturally. What you'll find is they tend to fade and fray ( think a pair of denims ) and age gracefully. If they over fray you can trim them but like your favorite pair of jeans becomes better with age. I'm now onto my sixth pair and own several colors . This shoe is timeless , comfortable ( the bigger the guy the more comfortable ) fashionable and and incredible value at $40. Where can you find a better shoe for the money ? Thank you Crocs

I love these shoes. these are basically all i've been wearing for about 4-5 years. My feet are in constant pain, i've tried orthotic shoes, arch supports, inserts, gels, you name it. I put on these Santa Cruz and it's like walking on clouds. Super comfortable! The only negative is that they wear out in about 6 months. Basically if my feet start hurting again, i know it's time to replace. Most comfortable shoe i've owned though. They run a tad narrow so i go a size up. In normal shoes i wear 11/11.5 so 12's in the santa cruz and i'm good to go. When i get a new pair, my old pair becomes my house slippers for just slippin on to tool around in the garden or cleaning the house.

I've worn these around the house every day as slippers for the last 3 years. Only now has the first pair developed a small, less than 4mm sized wear spot, in the canvas at the toe of each foot. They are slip on and stay on. I keep them by the back door and as soon as I take off my work boots these stay on the whole time I'm in the house. The soles are still intact, but I just bought a second pair while they are still available. I usually wear a 9.5 but these are a size 10 and fit just the same as my usual 9.5 so I would say they run a half size small in comparison.

This is my third pair of these shoes. (I can't believe I waited so long to get the black color). They fit and feel great. My feet don't sweat inside them (they breathe). And, I don't usually like to go sockless when I wear shoes, but wearing no socks with these shoes is the way to go... And I don't even notice that I'm not wearing socks. I love these shoes and you will too.

I ordered size 9 for my size 9 feet, and the fit is textbook perfect. The width is generous, and for people like myself with EE / EEE feet this is like finding the Holy Grail. Inside, the sole is about the right firmness: neither memory foam squish nor cheapo plastic. There is no dramatic arch support; when you first put them on it may feel flat to you, but I think the idea is that as you break them in your weight presses into the sole and creates some of that shape, custom. The sole has some give to it, sort of a dimpled foam / plastic of some kind. I’ve been wearing them both with and without socks, and both are fine. Having the base be a solid piece rather than composed of layers will help with longevity in warm weather, I think. I like the casual look and feel of these, don’t mind if the canvas frays over time. That’s the point! One caveat: you’ll likely need a shoehorn to put these on, as the heel area is canvas (like the rest of the shoe) with little stretch or give. With socks this is even more of an issue.

I do a lot of multi-day motorcycle camping, and the comfort these Crocs bring to my feet at the end of a long day of riding in leather boots is incredible! They're so simple to slip on and off, but don't want to fall off by themselves like sandals or flip-flops do. The textured insole is like a massage on the bottoms of my feet, and even if it gets wet, it's rubber! It doesn't soak in water! They don't smell, wash easily, and I just strapped them on the outside of my waterproof bag without worrying about them! The longer I've had them, the more comfortable they are. Don't hesitate - buy them! I usually wear a size 11.5, but they don't come in half sizes and I was originally worried that a 12 would be too loose - yes, they're loose, but in a totally acceptable way! People ask about them fairly regularly because they LOOK so comfortable. I don't think there's been a single person who wasn't SHOCKED when I told them that they were CROCS!

Although I don't like the look of the original Crocs clogs, I have several pairs of their other products. I purchased these because I have a older pair of the Santa Cruz Crocs in a different color and wanted to have a pair in black. These fits just like the others, and consistency of fit is especially important when purchasing clothing and accessories online!

I took a chance on these as they were cheaper at the time in my size(14) and I am so glad I did. I got tired of my house moccasins falling apart and tried these instead. I will never go back to a slipper or moccasin again. I wear these every day around the house and have found myself wearing them to the store or to run errands. They are super comfortable with or without socks. The textured foot bed feels odd at first but does a great job of promoting circulation in my feet and feels completely comfortable. The fabric breathes and these shoes are super lightweight. I will pick up the dark brown pair when it comes down in price as the light tan I got have quite dirty but are holding up great, especially since I wear them daily. Love these shoes.

Shoes are hard for me. So, taking that into account... The entry hole is small, but workable. i use shoe horns anyway due to damage in lowerlegs n feet. the length is right, but the material is snugger than I would have liked. However, it has been liveable today so far (sensitive feet due to swelling and nerve damage). The soles are thick and removeable! very nice. The souls have the grippy texture Crocs are known for. I quit the rubber Crocs because they slide when when, these will not have that problem. Overall, these seem well made and worth the extra money over the cheap units available. I am glad I found these and took the risk.

The Santa Cruz were recommended by a friend who also has foot problems. They don't have a high arch support but they took away the foot pain almost immediately. The only time I wear something different is if it's raining or snowing. I have had no foot problems since I started wearing these shoes. I've purchased three pair. I now have ugly and nasty with a hole in the toe for around the house. Nice ones for shopping etc. and brand new pair in reserve.
