These are great clips. For over two decades (since I was in high school) I used the cheap black plastic clips that came with a clippers set. These Andis clips are thicker and more substantial. The magnet is strong and keeps the clips in place. Wish I knew about these before. I got no complaints about them, and if you're deciding whether to get them. Get them.

These are amazing. I may buy a second set ‘just in case’. I had read that the double magnet models were discontinued and hard to find in 2018. I felt fortunate Amazon had these when I checked. Did I mention these are amazing? I mean, I’ve had them 15 minutes and, yes, amazing. I’ve been using the Oster Fast Feed clippers for a few years. The clippers are fantastic. The combs that came with them are junk. The Oster combs I ordered for them are junk. I don’t even know where I got the combs I’ve been using, but they have worn out. Twice now, they’ve slipped or come off while doing the back of my head. I had to get my wife to fix it both times. I threw the combs away after this last incident. These Andis combs fit like they were made for the Oster clippers. They’re a solid fit and won’t be moving on me. Heaven only knows why Oster doesn’t make something like this. But I’m glad Andis does. And they’re amazing.

If you have the Andis Masters clipper, then you absolutely have to buy these guides. They're magnetic which helps keep the guide on the blade and they don't shift around as other guides sometimes do. The teeth are stronger than the red curl guides that I've used in the past. I've had the same ones for years. Thanks for reading!

Used these on an Oster Fast Feed. Mine has two magnets and sticks on very, very securely. The screws that hold the clipper blades on the clipper are not countersunk, yet these combs do NOT interfere with those screw heads. No need to replace those screws with countersunk screws as somebody suggested. My gripes are: 1. These are massively overpriced. Free market at work here I guess. 2. You should be able to purchase the comb sizes individually instead of a set. I only use 1 size. 3. How about a little more subtle color than "grape bubble gum" purple? Ummm, like black.

I wish the color was more gender neutral but these days maybe it is. I had another set with metal semi-circle clips and they were ok. These guards are much easier to place on clipper and remove. All guards are clearly labeled making blending easier. I’m not advocating that these should be dropped constantly, but they are really tough. I’ve broken guides on plastic guards however these are almost indestructible. There is a slight metallic, glittery coating on them that makes them a little effeminate looking but other than that, these are great guards.

the 0 (or whatever size is smallest) guide is the only one i use. this magnetic set is WAY BETTER than the snap-on guide that came with my Andis clippers. the clip-on didnt sit quite right and would shift around. it also had really sharp points. this new one sits super snug (no fear of it moving or falling off) and isnt as stabby as the other one. i use this weekly to shave my head and wish i would have bought this to replace the supplied guide sooner!

Mine arrived on time. I can't express how tired I was of using those red universal guards. The picture showed two magnets and that's just what i got. There are also three wide tabs surrounding the magnets so they won't fall out or move. Lowest guard is a #0 1/16th 1.5mm the highest is a #4 1/2" 13mm

These magnetic combs fit my Andis hair clippers great! - You will quickly learn to insert the cutting-end tip of your clippers into plastic comb before allowing the magnets to GRAB onto the steel cutter base. Once the cutter end is in place and the magnets adhere to the base, these combs won't accidentally fall off. The only mildly aggravating thing I find about using these combs in trying to use its original plastic packaging to keep them organized in a small-to-large organization. I find it challenging to remove and replace a single comb without the super-strong magnets wanting to connect to each adjoining comb! I need to find a way that I can keep all of these combs (along with the larger set of combs, sold separately) together, but in such a way that they won't magnetically stick to each other, wasting my time separating them. Another feature that I would like to see in the next version of these combs would be to have each size be a different color. (The sizes are in raised printing on the plastic, but I find it difficult to read small purple-on-purple size numbers. In my honest opinion, standardizing the depth of cut to specific colors would be a welcome addition to the hair styling trade.) The Andis magnetic combs in THIS set contain combs in the #0 through #4 sizes. This equates to the following depth-of-cut measurements: #0 = 1/16" / 1. 5 mm, #1 = 1/8" / 3 mm, #2 = 1/4" / 6 mm, #3 = 3/8" / 10 mm, #4 = 1/2" /13 mm. These combs are nice. If you buy these combs, you might also consider buying the larger set of four Andis combs (not included in this set).

They seem to hold very tight and are well built. I am much more comfortable with these than the ones that came with my clipper. I just wish a #5 would have been included. Now I need to buy 4 more if I want a 5, I use the #4 and the 4 others that came with it, just sit.

just started cutting my own hair and I went with the Oster fastfeed and the Andis guards. The guards fit perfectly on my clippers, never come loose, the magnets are strong. These guards are MUCH better than the guards that came with my clippers. Because they fit so well on my clippers I can cut my hair and not worry about getting plugged or having a slip up. All in all I'm very pleased.
