It is a very nice color, in my opinion
I just received this chair, after having read most of the reviews that are already here. This is what I found. The seat and seat back are what I would call "beige." It's not cream, nor tan. Some might call it taupe. It is a very nice color, in my opinion, and the covering feels leathery and seems well stitched. The seat is firm and the backrest provides good support for me. I think anyone could put this together in a few minutes, even without instructions. You need only a screwdriver for the four screws. I measured the height from the floor to the top of the seat cushion at 20 inches at it's lowest and 26 inches at the highest. Everything works smoothly and silently. All seems made of quality materials. I am using it for a dual purpose-- as a desk chair, and as a high stool for art work, and so I like the fact that it has no arms. It seems perfectly suited for both. I'd suggest checking the lowest and highest heights for your own comfort and needs before ordering and consider how it fits under your desk or work bench. I have a 31.5 inch inseam and I weight 225. The lowest height works well for me under my 30 inch high desk. This chair is very good-looking, but it is not "stylish." Perfect for a utilitarian space like a studio, workroom, or kitchen.

Boss comes through again
I wanted a stool that I could use under my desk. The fit is perfect. I have ordered Boss Office Chairs before. I trust the brand. The assembly took less than 5 mins. The seat lowest 19 inches to pump upward to 26 inches. This is great, it allows me to have mobility at my desk. The no back, is welcomed. I like being able to do lower body twists, exercise, typing same time. The seat has lots of cush, it's not firm where your tailbone aches after 30 mins. IF you are an Esthetician, Manicurist, Dental Hygienist looking for a stool, this is great one. You will be able to manipulate the stool vs the stool controlling you. It's very easy to push off with your feet and roll, it's not flimsy, the structure is solid. The quality of the seat material is 5 stars. It's soft, it has a slight gripper, to keep materials from sliding off. The color is not what I expected. It's not cream beige as shown. I was first impression not impressed by the color. Then it grew on me. I actually like it. The color is cateye, it changes with the light. It's putty, then it's an odd greige. It can capture a hint of raw green clay, the seat is not green. It's different. I would call it Greige, not beige. There is no yellow, no pink undertones, neutral is the best I can describe it. For color, I am attaching pics. As the color views on the monitor as a cream beige. I put a stark white/hot pink girls football sock on the seat, for color comparison. A Thanks to the Seller for catching the first shipment was damaged. The stool/package was damaged in shipping, I was notified by email. The seller rerouted the package, resent my order, there was virtually no wait.

Worth the $
Only had tome to use his once and have to give it 5 stars as an initial impression. I'm in the 270 lbs range and the foam and seat seemed to be more than up to the task. I also have a disability that makes it difficult to get up to get tools as opposed to rolling around to get them. Color was as I expected from the photos. The chair meets the bill! Assembly was 10 minutes at most and "easy peasy lemon squeezy." 3/4 of my energy was spent getting up and moving around to get tools and such and this chair enabled my to work far longer at he initial use compared to using the stationary stool I had been using. the back also provided the ability to rest my back compared to just a standard backless stool. The material seems to be good thick vinyl of some sort with a good raised grain that I think should hold up well. I am more than happy about the quality I see thus far and would recommend this to anyone who likes comfort and movability when working. Other reviews said moves too easily on floor, but I found while it moves easily, it was not excessive to the point of making it difficult to sit on when sitting down initially. Nor did it ever move when I didn't want it to. Only time will tell if it holds up, but from my experience I give it good chances of being worth every penny. I consider it $ well spent.

Work chair that works hard like me!
Perfect chair for my work table!!! I use my work table for designing sets for plays, building models / miniatures of my set designs, drawing, painting, and even upholstery projects. Sometimes I need to be up a little bit higher to use the xacto knife and moments later a little lower as I arrange glue pieces together. This chair is perfect! I can roll and pivot easily and even adjust the height quickly and easily. The cushion is actually much better than I expect - it's comfortable for long sessions at the table. It's been helpful to be able to drop the height too - it goes pretty low. Great for maneuvering around the lower edge when painting a piece of furniture on the work table. Very pleased with this purchase!!!

Unbelievable deal!
My husband is a dentist and needed a new chair. In the dental catalogs they were all $500 to over $1,000. When I saw this one, I ordered it thinking it might not be the highest quality since it was ony $69. Knowing how awesome Amazon is with returns, I figured what did I have to lose? Was I shocked when it came and I put it together! It is very cushy and has a great back support. Very nice looking. Very well constructed. I didn't tell my husband I had ordered it before it came so he assumed I purchased it through a dental supply store. He raved about how awesome the chair was. I said, "Guess how much it cost?" He was floored when I told it was only $69. He immediately told me to order more of them! I would recommend to anyone!

Smart Purchase
Really happy with this little stool! It’s sturdy, comfortable, rolls smoothly, and adjusts without a hitch. I recently started customizing a home office storage space out of an oversized reach-in BR closet and it’s turning into more of a cloffice, which has become fairly popular the last few years with the organization trend. The Boss stool is great for just this kind of thing...it fits perfectly under the shelf which will be used for wrapping gifts and packages as well as for other misc projects. It’s comfortable to sit on for long periods and it swivels for easy access to whatever is needed while working.

Was looking for something fairly inexpensive but comfortable and sturdy
I'm a tattoo artist. Spend all day sitting in these types of chairs. Was looking for something fairly inexpensive but comfortable and sturdy. Most tattoo chairs run from 150-300 dollars. Bought this one for 55 bucks and it's perfect for what I do. Comfortable large seat. Nice back support. Glad I found this on here. Good price.

What a great chair!
What a great chair! I bought this for my kitchen table. It's where my laptop is and for the last year and a half I have been sitting in a old wooden chair. I have had 2 back surgeries and have a lot of titanium in my back and sitting can be a real pain! I found this chair at a Great price and grabbed it. I was a little worried that I wouldn't be able to put it together if my husband wasn't home, but it took me 5 minutes! The chair is so comfortable. The seat is well padded and the removeable back rest is adjustable. If I could take this to work with me, I would. Now my husband wants one for our office.

Good stool for quilting on my long-arm when I don't feel like standing - great adjustable height
I use this as a stool for my long-arm quilting machine. As some reviewers have said, it's really firm, especially if you sit on the edge, but I found that if I use a stool for my feet and sit full on the stool, it is very, very comfortable. I purchased this because it adjusts higher than many other stools offered. It appears to be well made. I'm using it on carpet, and the casters don't roll well when I'm sitting on it (as expected), but that's to my advantage because I don't want it to roll out from under me. When I decide to change my position and get off the stool to move it, it rolls very easily. The casters don't get "confused" and lock up, as some do. For my purposes, this is a great stool and should last a long time.

The "Boss Office Products B245-BK" It is Amazing! for $50
First of all this is the chair I am reviewing. The "Boss Office Products B245-BK" It is Amazing! for $50.00 !!! Very easy to assemble, and very comfortable! In the "Full Down" position from the floor to the top of the very Cushy/Firm 4" thick seat cushion measures 20-1/8" In the "Full Up" position from the floor to the top of the seat cushion measures 26"......... (24-1/2" compressed with my 180# butt planted on it) which is absolutely perfect for my computer work-top surface that sit's 30" above the floor. I use it for photo editing with a stylus pen so i'm sitting there for a good while. Very pleased, it's not that often that you can pick something up inexpensively and of such good quality. Highly recommended! "hcmiller"
