This game keeps my 8 year old daughter entertained. I worry about her growing up too fast, and I monitor what games she plays and shows she watches. As a parent, I like that the characters look child like, they have clothes covering them, and they have child like adventures. I think it's a great kids game, and I may even play it myself, if she ever puts it down.

This is one of my favorite games for Nintendo DS and I was really excited to see the price was reasonable! I played this all the time as a kid and I still play it today.

Its not like wandering willows where you have pet assisting you. its by yourself and your hand sort get tired after while. I suggest anyone playing this game please do it in highly lit room otherwise you feel like going sleep and turn up music. Options to buy that special guide don't do it unless your stuck trying to figure out how to get money there is no other guide instead of cheating and going to get special game card to get your gold and what not. You could do so but do it in early in game and only in secondary save slot. Other than that you have listen or read those instructions carefully. I am playing my second round due to I was stuck around the helipad incident and I stuck somewhere with four stars I trying to breeze through it so I pass it on to my niece. She got get into games that are adventure some before she plays her Zelda hourglass to get brain working.

Fun sim game that can keep you occupied for hours and days on end...I have started taking it to doctors and play as I wait.

I bought this game for the daughter of a friend, but I also own it. This is a fun game, as are all the MySims game. My only complaint is that it should last longer. But it can be played again and again and you can play it differently each time, so at least there's that. It was just such a wonderful game that I was sort of sad when it ended, I wanted it to keep going. :) I highly recommend this game, and any of the MySims games (I have them all for the DS). They are fabulous. This game requires some thought, as you have to build things to make you Sims happy, so it may not be great for kids under 5 or 6, but it's perfect for kids of any age older than that.

This item receives 5 stars because it was delivered on a timely manner, packaged wonderfully, in perfect condition upon arrival, the correct item I ordered and a fun game. Being shipped overseas, it is expected that items can and often take two to three weeks. The time of delivery was fairly accurate to the projected delivery date. Everything was packaged wonderfully. I know it's pretty hard to damage a game cartridge but the outer package wasn't even damaged. Which of course meant that MySims Kingdom was in perfect condition upon arrival. That's three stars automatically just for packaging and delivering but the fourth star comes because the item was what I ordered. While honest mistakes happen, it sucks when your order is switched with something you don't want or already had. I was ecstatic to open the package and find the item I ordered in it. As for game play, as many people described, the MySims DS franchise is a mashup of Harvest Moon and Animal Crossing. Players are able to buy household goods and decorate their house. Most items are for decoration and make noise but the bed puts players to sleep and you can change clothes using wardrobes. There are some in game quests to move the story along and mini games to earn money. While the overall look of the game appears to be garnered toward kids between 5 and 10, there are parts of the game play that may be too difficult to work around. For that reason, I'd say that while the kids can play it for hours on end, people 13 and older who appreciate the Sims, Harvest Moon, or Animal Crossing games will enjoy this item.

I just got this ds game for my great nephew for his new ds game that he got from his parents for xmas and I wanted him to have a couple extra games to play along with it.

My 10 year old daughter got this for Christmas and absolutely loves it! She had the game on Wii when she was a little bit younger and really loved it as well. She says this version of the game has a few different features that set it apart from the Wii version to make it interesting. I would recommend this game for 8-12 year olds.

I bought this game to relive my childhood. It was my favorite game to play on the DS, and I can say I still love it.
