They say the average woman loses 15 - 30ML her entire period. I just went through 30 of these in one period. That's enough to donate a pint of blood. Super Plus tampons just can't keep up. Ladies, you know how it is when the bleeding just won't stop. Your whole life is altered, and you can't leave the house for long periods of time, and you certainly can't be far from a bathroom. This product is the only one that helps me feel like I'm having closer to a normal period than anything else I've tried. Yes, I still have to change it every hour and a half (or less, sometimes on super heavy days), but it's better than every forty minutes with super plus tampons. I find these to be more convenient and hygienic than the diva cup. I still have to double up with pads but at least I can have at least somewhat of a life with both. These can be hard to find so it's nice to always have them available online if needed. Bonus tip: take Ibuprofen to lessen bleeding. It helps. Otherwise I'd be changing even this monster tampon every hour.

The only kind that does not leak!!

I’ve tried every tampon imaginable, and my periods are always super heavy, due to Fibroids. Previously, I was using Tampax Ultra, & even those leaked. This is the first one that gets me through the entire night, without having to change until around 5-6 hours later. They’re also the most comfortable tampons, as well. Highly recommend!

Ultra Impressed

Ladies who have a heavy period, look no further! These are amazing! I'm so grateful that I can have them shipped to my door instead of announcing to the world via a conveyor belt at the grocery store and an embarrassed cashier, that my cycles are more like floods! The word "Cycles" make it sound tame, but for those who suffer, and I mean really suffer Aunt Flow in all her glory during that "time" time of the month, we ladies understand that Super is good and all, but just isn't going to cut it for us and our Amazon River flow!

I like these enough that I buy them online now because ...

I'm a lady and I get my period. I'm old enough that I'm picky about what I use, having experimented with brands and products for 20 years. Thinking now that its been that long and, man, is that depressing. How much money have I thrown in the trash (or flushed down a public toilet?). Eeesh. Back to the point, I like these enough that I buy them online now because I can't find them in stores. I hope they make the unscented Gentle Glide (NOT SPORT AND NOT SCENTED) until I go into menopause.

Better than Tampax Ultra, these work like a rock star!

After 3 kids, my flows are shorter and heavier. I rely on these to get me through the "deluge" of my heaviest days. I was on vacation last month and bought Tampax Pearl Ultra in a pinch and they did not hold up, they were more like super plus. Yay for major leaks on vacation, ugh! Since it was my heaviest moment, I didn't completely blame the tampon. This month I'm using up the rest of the Tampax box, and again I'm leaking all over the place, so I know it wasn't just a fluke last time. Playtex Ultra will stay on my Subscribe and Save list FOREVER. I can't live without them!

Playtex Gentle Glide Tampons are the best tampons

I have only been able to find this style of tampon with Playtex. With the way they are made, when you have to pull one out before it is full, it is less painful than the ones that are crimped together. The crimped ones have those almost sharp edges and these are two layers that seem to be designed for comfortable wear and removal. These have the classic (and preferable) applicator and wrapper that was done away with in the Playtex Sport.

The most amazing tampons ever!

I started using tampons last year, despite me being in my mid twenties. I used all the major brands and I would get so frustrated because nothing seemed to work. Id always leak no matter what, and Id always have to use a pad to back my tampons up so they seemed pretty pointless for me. Well, on the advice of an amazon review of another brand, I decided to try these. Best decision ever! I only use super and super plus and they never leak. I use them with a pantyliner and thats all! Two months in and no issues whatsoever. I sleep in them and wake up starry eyed because its as if I'm not on my period at all (and I'm a rough sleeper). I'll admit that for me, they don't slip in as easy as the "pearl" of the other brand but they work 100x better. I'm now a believer in tampons! These are the best.

Nothing short of miraculous if your periods feel like the apocalypse

These are a game-changer if your monthly experience is akin to the elevator scene from The Shining. It actually makes me angry at all the other absorbency categories (looking at you, Super Plus) because they're so ineffectual in comparison. Definitely reserve these for big-gun days though as they can be uncomfortable (or you can kinda feel them) if you're not bleeding heavily. I will be DEVASTATED if these are pulled from the market as they're the only reliable tamp for my insane ladytimes. Between these and Thinx, I feel like I can function in the world without fear of covering every available surface with blood.

Comfortable and no added colors etc...

Comfortable. I usually have issues with tampons not gliding in all the way or leaking. These didn’t do that. They were comfortable and I slept very well. I’m in my 40s and have began having heavy days. Before finding these, i was up every hour changing pads. I just wanted sleep. These actually gave me hours of comfortable sleep with no leaks.

Must have for me!

I've been using these for 30+ years, but have a really hard time finding them in the store these days. For some reason they prefer to stock the plus size, the small sport ones, or the ones with scent. Baffling.
