Great for presenting photos soon after the event in a good looking book that I'm proud to show anyone. Other reviewers had noticed that the photo dividers extend only 1/3 of the horizontal distance on each page, thinking this was a design flaw. Far from it. If the division extended any further I would encounter two difficulties- getting the photo in a slot at all and no way to present a photo in portrait position on a page. There is friction between plastic pages and photographs, but I can easily get enough air in the opening to slide the photographs in because the dividers extend only partially across the page. After placing photos, I run my hand up and down the page to expel air and trap the photos in position. There is no falling out or picture sliding as others have predicted- even after years of being in the book. It does take two landscape positions to store a photo in portrait view, but then one doesn't need to rotate the book to see the portrait picture. It's a trade-off that is sometimes worth it.

Great way to store your photos and add details/dates to enhance reminiscing!

I've had mine for a few months now and it came in the mail nicely packaged, on time, and is great quality. I was a bit hesitant to buy this item due to the mixed reviews but I figured that the price was just too good to pass up and I'm glad I did. The photo album is of nice quality and stores my photos the way I wanted it to, it designates half of each page to writing in dates and labels which I think is a nice touch. I definately recomend buying it if you're in the market for a nice photo album that allows you to add details and dates beside each photo for ample preservation of memories!

Solid beautiful album

This book is really solid! I was looking for a gift for my nephew. He asked for a photo album as he has recently fallen in love with taking pictures. I started looking immediately for something that he would like. At 15 he needed something that was masculine and not something with flowers or the words 'FAMILY' on the front. Which is remarkably hard to find sometimes. When I came across this I thought it would be perfect. The price was sound and it was easy to tell that he could use it for a while. 300 pictures is quite a few. It came quickly and in it's own box. It was packaged very well. I was immediately impressed by the quality of the item. It's very solid in it's construction. I wanted something plain because he is very much into Wolves and I plan to embroidery a cover for it with a wolf for the front. However, even if he gets out of his wolf stage and takes the cover off the book itself is very nice. Each page holds three pictures on one side. There is room beside each picture so that you can write little notes or descriptions. Which is SO nice especially for a young teenage boy that is experiencing so much. I can imagine later in life he will be going through this and the notes will help him remember the people, places, years that the pictures were taken. This book is large!!!! I love it though, I think it helps with the solid construction. The only downfall I really see is that there is no way to ever add more pages. But, then I didn't expect that, if I wanted an expandable one I would have bought one. I can tell that once all 300 pictures are in this album it's going to be a very full book. I can't wait to see him use it.

I bought 3 of these a few years ago and just bought a few more. Great quality, they look nice and hold a ton of pictures. I plan on ordering more in the future!!!

Best photo album ever!

I cannot express how wonderful and nice these albums are! I was having a hard time finding a nice bike directional album that holds a lot of pictures, and that includes a space to write memos! This does all that, while being very sleek! Made with leather, each page contains 3 slots (front and back) for horizontal pictures and you can fit 2 4x6 pictures vertically on one page. I am so glad I found this item! I ordered two and will have enough space to put all my pictures from our recent trip to Maine! It is so nice to have an actual physical album to look back on!

Best Album for the Money

This was the exactly the album I was searching for. I am able to put my photos in & still have room near the binding to write dates, names, & events that the picture represents. It is a great quality especially for the money. I saw other albums that were much more expensive & I took a chance & bought this one. I was not disappointed. As a matter of fact, I bought 2 & I have already filled them up. I just ordered 3 more yesterday. I would also take advantage of the brass plates you can order to go on the album. I had 2 large plates made for $12.00. I just got them back in the mail last week & they look great! The order form for the plates will be in the album when you receive it.

Perfect photo album, great quality

I was home recently and going through my parents' old photo albums and thought I'd like to put together some of my own for my family in the future. I didn't look much further than this one, due to the price and the reviews, and I'm happy I didn't! This was exactly what I was looking for, and also comes with a protective plastic cover which i will definitely be keeping on. Each page has 3 slots for a 5x7 photo, with a small space for writing a memo next to it. I will most likely use postit notes next to each picture in case I decide to move them around, but I'm happy that there is some space available to write. Definitely recommend, and will 100% be buying more in the future!

Durable

Received my photo album and started putting pictures in it. I was almost halfway done when I realized I forgot a few pictures from the beginning. So I took everything out, put everything back in to where I left off then realized I had skipped a page. So I moved the pictures and then started where I left off. Bottom line. With all of that movement you would think something would have happened to the plastic or a page. But the durability is amazing! And pictures don’t move around-however you put it in there is literally how it will stay.

Great Album - No Smell

Found this on amazon - had great reviews and some that mentioned a horrible smell. I purchased it anyways and LOVE IT! The album did has a "scent" to it almost like if you ever bought a leather couch. The first day or so yes it smells brand new like the leather has just been cleaned or opened up to the air but it was nothing out of the ordinary. After a few days the smell was gone and now it's just an album that I love! Can't wait to fill this with photos and buy more.

This is the perfect album for 4x6 prints. They can fit in it straight or sideways. It holds a LOT of photos. It looks like a much more expensive item. You can buy a brass plate to label it with. The plate is of high quality, and at a very low price point.
