Bought these for a dual 18 cabinet I am making. Just feeling the build quality says allot. Built very well. I don't own any Speakon but do have 1/4 cables for my speakers. I have to say I see needing a little muscle to get the 1/4 plugs out which is a plus because the jack is the only thing holding them in. Definitely looking to order some more in the future for other cabinets.

I built a bass guitar speaker cabinet and these are easy to wire up, and super easy to install. With dual speakon connections, they're ready for modern amps and the dual 1/4" jacks have you covered for older style equipment, The way I wired mine (in parallel), I can plug the amp into a speakon jack, the run a cable to another speaker using the other seakon jack or a 1/4". I think I'll upgrade my P.A. speakers, too

Solid construction. Dependable. Great product!

Very good item,easy to install.

Big, heavy-duty steel plates. A great replacement for any failing, flimsy plastic jack plate. You'll probably have to expand the opening to fit these as they are twice the length of a typical jack plate.

I installed these in two cabinets (a Fender/Eminence 2 x10 and a Peavey 1 x10) that had both formerly been bass combo amps. The amps have died but the speakers are still great. I wired the plates in series so that all of the jacks work. I understand that they can be wired in parallel as well but I couldn't find a good diagram that I felt comfortable using. The method that I used involved using only the number 1 positive and negative jacks of the speak-ons. I connected the number one speak-ons negatives in series with the negatives of the quarter inch jacks and did the same with the positives. This worked well and I am pleased. All of the connections work. The manufacturer including wiring schematics (for the anal retentive and inexperienced, would be great. On the other hand, the quality of the plates for the price is great and I cannot complain. Lastly, I used two sizes of wire connectors as the quarter inch positive connectors are slightly larger than the negatives. After all of the wires were secured with connectors, I soldered the connections. I figured this to be a good idea because of the vibration of the bass speakers. I also used wire cutters to squeeze the connectors and make a securely held crimp. Overall, these are excellent Jack plates and I am very pleased. I plan to get good use out of my old cabinets without having to have a quarter inch jack tackily running out of them into my amp.

Great quality Jack plates,..... !!!

These worked great it helped upgrade some old speakers i had now i can daisy chain them plus use speakon wires as well

These plates are a must have for anyone whos in the DJ business they are very flexable with speakon or quater inch inputs. very nicely constructed and has space to glue on a custom crossover. Not the best for subs as the quater inch holes leak air through the plate. Not a big deal but for the average user but for an audiophile this a problem. high quality connectors in both instance. The only drawback is they should soldier wires on and add a few extra bucks to the price but it will save alot of time if this was done already.

Nice quality and value. I build some of the gear our rock group use and these are working fine after two seasons.
