Brilliant workbench. It weighs around 20lbs and folds flat to around 4-inches depth. It opens really easily and provides a really firm base to cut things on. The bench came with a couple of clamps which were OK - but not as good as the De-Walt trigger clamps I have, so I still use those. The only possible criticism I could make is that - because this is made of plastic, if you're cutting something with a Jig-Saw it's really easy to cut into the top of the workbench. I should probably take more care - duh!

I bought this to replace an old work bench that has seen better days. It is still useful but with a few saw cuts through the top and legs starting to wobble it is more suitable for just stacking things on it than for working on it. The Keter is a solid work piece. yes, it is "plastic" but it is very sturdy and the ingenious bracing system makes for a solid work surface. Unlike my older table that required unfolding, pinching tabs, clamping braces before it is work ready the Keter is amazingly easy to set up. You set it on the floor, grip the side clamps and lift. The legs fold out into locked position and all you need to do is push three hinged pieces into a locked position and you are good to go. The clamps that come with it are very handy for clamping work onto the table and the slots provided for both vertical and horizontal clamping are easy to work with. One note- mine arrived with a slight crack on the top plate of one of the leg "cups" (see photo). There is NO way to just ask for a replacement part so I did a damaged product request and they quickly shipped me a new one. I put the slightly damaged bench in the old box and shipped it back. I think there should be some way of just getting the part replaced rather than a whole exchange but you cannot beat that kind of service from Amazon.

I haven't really been folding it down and taking it back up much (which I know is the reason some people have such issues with this bench), but for what it's worth, this thing has been great. I have stored it only a couple times, but I am just happy with how sturdy it is when I'm using it. I know it says it has a half-ton capacity and I'm not getting anywhere near that, but for the woodwork I've needed it has served its purpose well. The added clamps have also come in handy, I wasn't sure whether or not I would need/use them when I ordered, but they work as good/better than the other clamps I have, so why not. Solidly made and does its job.

This table works well as advertised. It was very simple to unpackage and immediately start using. I have not tried the included clamps yet. The only thing was that the legs are not adjustable. I had one of these tables previously with adjustable height, but did not read or research enough to find that it was not adjustable (just assumed). It's not a deal-breaker, but would have been nice additional feature to be able to use as assembly table as well as outfeed for table saw. It is very stable and flat enough for my purposes. There is a lip all the way around that allows clamping of work pieces for assembly or cutting.

The Workbench is fantastic, I've used it for so many things during the renovation I'm doing on my home. I've stood on it to paint 14 foot ceilings, put my miter saw on it, clamped and cut laminate flooring with a circular saw and jigsaw, and even used it as a table for my computer. I would definitely buy another if I needed to. Only issue I have with it was the clamps. They broke after a couple of days worth of work. Back about 30 years ago, I wouldn't have been so upset, my doctor once told me that I had superior grip strength LOL, but now with arthritic hands, I have a hard time getting anywhere near the grip I used to have. These clamps are just poorly designed if I could cause them to fail. It's OK, I had some well built ones to use.

Ordered this for my husband last year for fathers day. He often does small jobs for work and little things around the house and would often struggle cutting wood off the tailgate in his truck so I had been looking for a good work table for him to use. Unfortunately we don't have a lot of storage space so I needed something that could easily be stored and possibly collapsible. I ended up seeing this on TV on a show called 'I Want That' which basically just shows new products and technology. Needless to say the moment I saw it I did some research and thought itd be perfect for him. Well this was definitely better than expected. The quality of this table is absolutely amazing, it holds his table saw perfect with enough room for cutting wood and the included clamps work perfectly and are made of great material as well. It folds up very easily into like a large suitcase, even I can do it myself, and it's just as easy to setup as it is to put away. Even after over a year it is still in the same great condition as when I first bought it and has definitely been used just about every day since, it's very convenient to carry around for his constant travel with work. Hes about 5'9" and the height of the table works great for him.

After reading all the mixed reviews I went ahead and took a chance on the workbench because of the price and the fact it collapses for compact storage. If you follow the directions and open the table utilizing the clips near the yellow handles and allow it to unfold on its own you will reduce the risk of breaking one of the many plastic components. I had 18 2x6 stud length boards stacked on the table with no weight issues. I'm not sure it will hold 1000lbs but I've got no interest or need to suspend that much weight on anything. I ran my Wen 13" planer on it all day with no issues. The workbench comes with two clamps that are stored underneath and snap into grooves on the workbench surface. Clamps are solid construction and when fixed to the table top makes easy work for quickly holding/moving materiel. The legs do not extend but the fixed height of the bench should accommodate all. The bench is hard composite plastic, if you plan to use external clamps be sure to select a solid surface for the bottom tooth of your clamp on the underside of the table top. There are a few thin plastic lips near the handle that a clamp will snap off, it happened to me but no real impact. I wouldn't even call this a con because it was avoidable had I been paying attention. This is an excellent workbench for the money. I plan to order 3 more.

I love this folding compact workbench from Keter. I think it's a nice value, well made, strong, sturdy, and still portable. I like the storage space under the top of the table. The table was a no brainer for a dummy like me. No tools required. It just unfolds and locks in like a dream. I've been using it a lot and it is helping me keep my tools organized. Gotta agree with the reviews of the bar clamps that came with the table. They work but they are stiff and not of high quality. I don't plan to use them much. Still a very nice table. The portability keeps the dust and debris from making a mess inside the garage.

My 'workshop' is half a garage so space is very limited. I wanted to have a work table I could feel confident building on and be able to fold up to store easily. The Keter Table hits those marks very well. It's not perfect, but at $70 its a great value. Pro's: The super quick set up and put away. Very low profile when folded - can stick it anywhere, even a closet if you don't have any space. Sturdy to use - I regularly stand on it to reach high objects and have no worries about it supporting me (~145 lbs). Lower 'shelves' that hold clamps is a nice spot to toss measuring tapes, pencils, small tools, etc. while working. Comes with two bar clamps - never can have too many but see Con's for more on them. Light enough that you can move it around when set up easily. Durable - the plastic top feels solid, the supports lock in place firmly, the handle feels solid despite other reviewers problems. Con's: The bar clamps are pretty terrible. The metal bar dents when clamping making the sliding of the clamp a bit rough. And the clamps don't slide all that well to begin with. The clamping action is fine however. Of note: The release on the clamps (one at either end) are stiff and the one on the trigger handle is completely different than most bar clamps. I keep forgetting that. And I struggle to get the clamp ends to start moving; its not super difficult but more of a frustrating struggle when my other quick grip bar clamps are a joy to work with. I think of them as a freebie with the table so I don't mind too much, but I only use them when I don't have enough other clamps that are easier to use. The table vibrates something fierce when using an orbital sander on it. Already a loud tool, it resonates even more on the table. Adding weight to the table (cinder blocks) knocks that down but isn't practical. I'm going to use some anti vibration rubber mats under the work piece and under the feet next time I sand on it and hope that helps enough. Same goes for other tools like jig saws. I don't think it can really hold 1000lbs. While I climb on it without a worry, I wouldn't want to put 10 of me on the table. The table does shimmy a little with weight on it, so a static load of much higher weight would probably be fine but I'd worry a little over the 600 lbs+ But, I'll never ever need that kind of weight on the bench so calling it a con is iffy. If you want to put a car engine on it, I wouldn't push on it too hard... So-so's: -- The Clamps -- The clamp slots work well with the included clamps but I find I never use them, since they clamp for side to side movement. Add to that that the clamps are kind of a bitch to use and I never want to use them. I always want to clamp pieces down onto the bench. You can clamp things down along the edges but the underside isn't solid across so you have to move the clamp around a bit to find a good spot. Putting the clamps back into the shelf in the table is tricky. The first time I went to put them back in the slots I couldn't figure out how to to fit them for the life of me. 20 min later I got them in. The trick is to have the trigger end just a touch forward of the back bar stop. This seems to fit the cut out better. Even still, it takes me a minute to get them right and the fit for the bar length is very tight. It holds them snugly as a result, but it would be great if it was a simpler 'snap in' system. ** If you've had trouble putting the clamps back in, mark this review helpful so others can struggle less. :) ** Between the clamp quality, the awkward release mechanism and sliding, the lack of use of the slots (for me), and the fiddly return to storage... I don't use them much. However, if you want to just grab the table, throw it in the car and drive somewhere to do a little on site work, knowing you have two clamps with you is a nice feature. Final Thoughts: I highly recommend the work table and plan on getting another one. It's sturdy and easy to store and a large enough size to work on for most projects. Side Note: I wish the toggle clamps on the adjustable version were still included. Those would be VERY useful. I'm considering getting t-tracks and installing them in the table surface. Then I could use something like POWERTEC 71083 5-1/2" L x 1-1/8" W Hold-Down Clamps and really expand the functionality of the table.
