My 8,000 gallon koi pond was trashed by having a LOT of River Birch pollen falling in it, right before a very hot spell - I have struggled for three months with this - a friend suggested I try this product and after putting 20 ounces ( for 8,000 gallons ) the water is clearer than I've seen it since this started, Significantly clearer. Three more days and I do the second weekly treatment. Looks to be the answer for me. BTW rather than trying to spread 20 ounces over the top of that size of a pond, I just dumped it in front of the pump and let it distribute it. Seems to have worked well. I will update if it doesn't continue to work well.

I was a little skeptical about spending a lot of money on cleaners for my new pond. I wasn't sure they would work. I've attached two photos showing what my pond looked like before applying the API products and what my pond looked like the day after. This stuff really works. I used the API Pondcare Accu-Clear, the API Pondcare Pond-Zyme and the API Pondcare Algaefix. I can see my fish and turtles now.

I have made use of this twice, after my new pond become completely clouded with mud after days of rain. It had been cloudy for days before I first used it, I put it in the night I received it and it was completely clear by the next morning. The second time I used it I had stirred things up moving the filter and again it was completely clear by morning. My only complaint is that the bottle was missing the cap when I got it, so I do not have the measuring cap described and have had to seal the top with saran wrap after opening it.

We used some murky lake water to help help fill our new 800 gallon pond that he had just finished installing. The water was cloudy and we didn't think anything would help it but I ordered this stuff anyways. It cleared it up within a day and a half! All the solid particles were on the sides and bottom of the pond. We waited a couple days before buying fish and 4 days later all are happy and healthy and able to be seen!! The water remains crystal clear a week later so I'm very happy with this product and would highly recommend it!

This stuff is great. Due to a rodent building a nest behind our waterfall, we had clay soil wash into our pond and dissolve in the water. It looked absolutely horrible, and the fish seemed to hate it. After carefully searching for a product, I found this one which takes suspended particles and binds them together so they fall to the pond bottom and are captured by the filter. It took about 3 applications to clear our pond (1000 gallon), and now we use it every 7-10 days to keep it clear, since there is still fallen sediment on the shelves on the sides of the pond. Also, we did not use the full 1000-gallon dose, just the suggested dose for 600 gallons. It takes about 12 hours for full effect.

I have a ~1000 gallon Koi pond with filtration and UV light algae killer. This product in conjunction with the mechanicals and Pond-Zyme keeps my water very clear and the fish and frogs are doing well. I add the two of them and dechlorinator along with 100 gallons of new water once a week and everything stays very clear.

This works fantastically! I followed the directions and put in no more and no less than directed. Pond cleared up and STAYED clear. I recommend this product. The fish were not affected by it either.

Keeps our cheap fountain/pond/watering hole clear. We took a hard plastic kids pool and sunk it in the ground for the animals to drink out of during the summer while it's hot. I didn't want to use chemicals in it because I didn't want to harm the animals, but I didn't want the water turning green either! I thought a pump and fountain would help. I was wrong. However, this stuff works and it doesn't harm the cats, deer, neighbors dogs, raccoons and possums that come through the yard. The box turtles don't seem to mind it either.

Excellent product, I was a little Leary that it wouldn’t do anything with my algae problem but I used it with concentrated barley straw extract and within a couple of hours my small goldfish pond (about 80 gallons) was clear. It’s a new pond, about three weeks old so it’s probably going through the nitrogen cycle and just looked funky, it receives a lot of direct sunshine and once my water plants get established along with my elephant ears it should be perfect. Don’t hesitate to buy, I have 11 aquariums and I’ve never had any algae problems but this product for an outdoor pond is amazing and turned me into a believer.

I am tumbling stones for my wife and granddaughter. It is critical not to dump any of the grinding media or slurry down the drain. I rinse everything into a five gallon bucket that I installed a petcock 3" above the bottom. I place 1/2 a cap full of the Accu-Clear into the pail, stir it with a stick, and in about two hours I drain off all of the clear water. Its much lighter to carry a bucket with 1/2 gallon of water than 5.
