Great for transport to and from class

I love this envelope to transport my artwork (11" x 14") to and from class without the fear of it being crushed or wrinkled in my bag. I haven't had to use it on rainy days so I don't know how it would stand up to getting wet; I feel like it could stand up to a light sprinkle but not more and I don't feel like testing it.

nice basic folder

This is exactly what I expected. It's not rigid, if that's what you're looking for - if you want rigid, you could either spring for a portfolio with cardboard in it, or cut the bottom out of the box this comes in and make yourself a handy-dandy cardboard insert. Also, the sticker in the corner peals off easily, which is nice.

Good for what I need it for!

Arrived quickly, stiff enough to protect papers and an inverted 'V' at the bottom will help keep them from rolling at that edges (yay!). The velcro I am not a huge fan of, but not so much as to dock a star. It's just a little stiff and I worry I might end up bending the portfolio around it. After some use, it will become much easier to open, so just a heads up on that. Also, the product I received was yellow not red as listed. No big deal, just want other purchasers to be aware they may not get the color stated.

Great for budding artists, professional artists or general paper storage

My 5 year old daughter makes LOTS of drawings and painting and crafts, especially now that she's in pre-k. I was having a hard time organizing and protecting them as standard folders weren't always wide or deep enough for bigger projects, and even then I'd have 10-12 folders full. This portfolio is big enough for poster-size pictures and is wide enough for some of the thicker crafts like macaroni pictures and paperbag puppets. I much prefer needing 1-3 of these per year as opposed to who knows how many dozen folders or just shoving everything into a storage bin. Plus, I can write the year on the flap and any additional info on the body of the wallet. Its durable enough to ensure relative safety and protection, and they are slim enough I can organize them and stash them without too much trouble. I have a large tote they fit well into if I place them sideways. I want to keep her artwork for sentimental reasons so try to down size, but I also know these could work well for her as a teenage or adult if she continues with her art. They are professional-looking and the quality is good. Price is very good, especially if you have Prime. Mine arrived quickly, in perfect condition (no rips, scratches, discoloration, etc...) and I am very happy with it! I plan on buying more as we need them and I expect we'll need A LOT more!
