Awesome Sound System!! I am a professional speaker and travel around to to talks and all-day retreats. Occasionally the microphone that the hosting place had was either bad or non-existent. In order to save my voice, I gave this little speaker a chance. It's been awesome for me and is such good quality for a small and pretty inexpensive speaker. It's small and light so I can carry it with me and it has a lot of power and clarity. In small rooms, it's no problem. I've even spoken in larger rooms like church basements and auditoriums with this too and it's loud and travels quite a distance. I haven't had a place yet that was too much for it. The best part is when you have to occasionally crank it up in a big room, the quality doesn't go away. It doesn't vibrate or crackle or hiss or anything like that. The clear speaking quality is still there. It even has settings you can play with. As a side note, the handheld mic is better quality than the lapel and headset, but those aren't too bad either. I highly recommend this for many different uses.

I bought this in a pinch as I didn't have time to rent a PA system for my event. It worked fine for a group of 50 to 60 people. It was easy to set up and we used the microphone with no issues. If you get any feedback just place the speaker a few feet away from the microphone. It is small and lightweight and is good for small to medium size groups where there is not too much background sound. This saved the day!

I purchased this inexpensive PA System and a number of associated products as principal percussionist and Trustee of a 65-member symphonic wind ensemble (concert band). For the most recent 44 years of our 60-year history (I have been a member for the past 50) when we began rehearsing and playing concerts in a performing arts facility which we share with an orchestra and a theater company, we have had trouble hearing comments and directions of our conductor at rehearsals. As I recall, our Board budgeted about $200 for this purchase, which was just enough for everything we needed. We keep the PA system in (and recharge all the batteries) during the week between rehearsals in the lockable percussion cabinets that line the back wall of our stage. During rehearsals we hang the PA system on the back wall of our stage, just above the percussion cabinets. We are very happy with this product.

I reviewed this earlier but not since I put it to the test. Most of the other uses were somewhat casual or not totally necessary. As a track and field official, I have found the use of voice amplification important in noisy venues. I have another wired unit that has worked will but has recently shown signs of not being reliable, thus the reason for the purchase. Early on, I had some issues with the wireless mic and transmitter not working consistently but when I went to the hand-held mic, the unit worked flawlessly for me. Other officials were using it and seemed to be having some difficulty but when I checked it, the mic worked fine. I also found that the speaker could be placed a fair distance away from the mic and it worked very well and produced clear sound with plenty of volume. I still have some experimenting to do with the headset/transmitter unit which does allow for hands free operation, although the transmitter still has to be turned on by hand, unless it is allowed to remain on with the mic open. I also have yet to try the lapel mic. Regardless, I have grown to really appreciate the versatility of this unit where I use it.

This Portable PA system has it all! Very clear and travels well. If you're speaking to a larger audience and want to make sure you're heard this is for you. Comes with a travel case, headset, clip on mic and handheld microphone. Have had for 4 years and still works perfectly. Use it to practice speaking engagements and when needed for outdoor events. Some reviewers state the headset doesn't fit in the case. This is not true, it does fit, you have to place it in the right angle and it will fit. Plenty of power and punch! I would highly recommend this item to anyone!

We used this for our outdoor wedding with about 100 guests. When we tested it before the wedding, it worked just fine behind the last row of guests, but for some reason when guests were actually seated, it needed to be moved up. No worries, just moved it to the center aisle after everyone was standing at the altar. And then it worked great for the duration of the ceremony. The officiant used the lapel clip which worked great, too. It's a great unit for outdoors because it has a battery back and a wireless microphone. You just need to plug it in to charge the battery overnight. I would definitely recommend this product, particularly for outdoor weddings.

I am a speaker in Houston and many times, I am at a location where they don't have a quality sound system or they don't have one at all. I wanted to purchase some type of system that was (a) good quality, (b) inexpensive and (c) easy to carry in a moments notice!! This fit all three categories. I was concerned because of the price (if you are speaker who speaks to thousands-this isn't the system for you), however, for the speaker such as myself that conducts the luncheon sessions, the historical societies, church meetings, anywhere from 10-150 individuals, then I think this would work great. The sound quality is very nice. There are three mic options. Very clear! A great system.

This is an amazing little amp. I was expecting to find just a hand held mike and places to attach hands free mikes to their transmitter but found two hands free mikes, one lapel and a neck wrap, as well. They all work great and while you can't use two wireless mikes at a time, you can use a external player and a wireless mike together. I've used the amp for the accompaniment of a soloist and it worked great; there was plenty of power for the small group I work. One thing I noted was the device turns itself off is unused for more than a few minutes, but since the device is instant on, one has only to set the controls and turn off the amp till actually needed. Again, a great little amp.

I have only had this device for a few months, and only used it once, but it worked beautifully! I hope that it is durable because performance-wise it was perfect. It is very light and easy to carry around, and the sound is loud and super clear. We used it for a walking tour of urban gardens that lasted about 5 hours. There were about 50 people on the tour and this system was easily loud and clear enough for everyone to hear without even turning it up that high. I carried it the whole day and never got tired. We did not have any issues with cracking or feedback and I was very impressed with the range. The tour guide holding the microphone could be at the front of the group of people and I could be at the back (30-40 feet, probably) and there was never any problem with reception. One thing to note is that the 9V batteries that come with the unit are "test batteries" only, and not meant to last. Be sure that you buy real 9V batteries before your event. Also, I am not sure how well it would work for music -- seemed to be calibrated just right for a human speaking voice to carry clearly, but not sure what it would sound like with more complex/varied sounds coming through it.
