I've used it only once since it arrived but what i moved with it was a real test of quality, an old 27" big butt television and we all know how heavy those tv's are. After positioning the television onto the cart, i wheeled that beast out to the curb easily and the cart rolled so smoothly. I was very impressed !! I look forward to using my Magna Cart again when i move.

I just this morning received this, and I'm already in love with it. I got the one made of steel, with rubber tires, and it seems to be ideal for what I will need it for: Moving items that are perhaps too heavy or awkward to try to carry by hand, from Point A to Point B. I've got a bigger, heavier duty hand truck, but it almost seems like overkill for many of the small carrying jobs that we encounter, such as moving a heavy box received from, or being sent out through UPS or FedEx. Suffice it to say that I've got it now, and although I might not always need to use it, I can if I want to. Just a little tip: A shot of WD40 to all of the moving parts of your folding cart will transform it from something that is sluggish to get open, to one that snaps instantly into place, and keep you from feeling that you've gotten less than what you wanted.

Bought this for work to move boxes at trade shows, but first used it at an outdoor concert event for hauling blankets and tarps. Had no issues controlling it, even in muddy conditions. Comfortable to use by pushing in front, or pulling behind. Very easy to fold and unfold. Folds up nicely too and I was able to tuck it away in a little space in our hall closet. Foam grip on handle is more comfortable than I expected, but I don’t know that it will last the life of the cart. We’ve already come up with alternatives though, if it should start cracking or rot. What I like best is that the wheels don’t interfere with what you’re loading on the cart. They sit behind the frame, allowing you to load longer items and still keep things balanced. I had been debating between this one and an aluminum one, and I’m glad I went with this one as it’s very sturdy and I’m not worried about bending the frame. And it really isn’t all that heavy on it’s own. This was a definite win for me!

Used as car seat roller on airport/plane. Allowed me to travel alone with my son. Worked AMAZINGLY!!! Rolled it right to my seat on the plane on Southwest 737-700. At the widest point the wheels of the cart are a little more than 15". My car seat was 2" wider than the cart. And my car seat is the narrowest on the market I believe. My car seat is a Diono Radian RXT. My son + his car seat was 62lbs. So glad I got something heavy duty as I was constantly tilting it upright and back, and turning it and manhandling it. A luggage cart would have snapped I would think. I used a S-Biner clip with a 100lb capacity from Home-Depot and the latch connectors to attach the car seat to it. Put the latch connector through the front facing belt path and brought the connectors together and clipped to the S-biner clip. I pulled the tether strap down from the top and attached that to be clip as well. It folded up and I was allowed to put it in the overhead bin at my seat. It is also narrow enough to go under the seat in front of you but would stick out about 8". I had totally anticipated having to gate check it, for safety reasons but they just put it in the overhead bin. I had them tag the bag as gate check, before I boarded. You should also assume it will be gate checked. It's heavy and dangerous if it falls out of overhead bin on someone's head. I bought the Angel Baby red stroller bag (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00OJMAHPS/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_cuyEvbY3CDEWS) to put it in so it didn't get overlooked if gate checked. The bag fit it perfectly and held the gate check tag and luggage tag and contained my cart so it didn't get left behind!

I bought this after nearly killing myself lugging multiple boxes and bags to teach my class. I had to carry them the length of a long parking lot and through a big building. I bought this, and what a relief. I stack a large "milk crate" box on the bottom which is full of binders containing plastic enveloped sheets (very heavy), then stack on top of that big carryalls. I rope it all to the handle. Since the bottom box extends at least 6 inches beyond the front lip of the cart, I tilt it back very carefully as I am sure it was never intended to be loaded this way, but once tilted, the weight is on the heavy weight metal bars (the handles) and there is no problem. The wheels are large enough to traverse the rough parking area without a hitch. The whole thing is built to haul a real load. It folds away nicely in my studio. I've used it about 3 months now and it shows no signs of wear at all.

Being an avid crafter, I needed a folding hand truck to haul my creations to the onsite booths at craft fairs. I have been using this now for a long time and have yet to have a failure. I can load it into the car with very little space required. It's super agile and can handle nearly anything I pack on it, from the EZ Up to the totes. I have been known to stack up to three totes full of product and wheel it around with no issues. Its also been used to move two bath vanities, a bunch of broken up concrete pieces that needed to be hauled to the dumpster. I haven't hit more than about 100 pounds with this hand truck, but as easily as it handled the weight put on it. I can believe it would haul at least 150 pounds with little or no effort. This hand truck is well constructed from solid steel construction. I bit heavier than it's aluminum counterparts, but that means it is a work horse. Pros: Folding (Folds nearly flat, for easy storage and hauling) Steel construction Accommodates up to 150 Pounds Cons: I have yet to discover any. This is a great little work horse for those looking for a portable hand truck that will consistently haul items over any terrain with little or no effort. I would highly recommend it.

BEST INVESTMENT I HAVE EVER MADE. My boyfriend and I recently moved out of an OLD San Francisco apartment. If you have ever moved out of an old San Francisco apartment, you will know that it is challenging and requires a lot of effort and muscle, as everything is manual and not made to be easy in any way. Moving into the building a year and a half ago, we did not have this handy dolly and the struggle was real. The struggle was so real that we invested in this dolly. JOB WELL DONE MAGNA CART! We were willing to try anything to make the moving process much smoother this time, and this dolly was well worth it. Two plastic bins fully loaded and stacked on op of each other was no challenge for this dolly. I didn't lift a finger and I didn't have to hear the boyfriend complain once! Best investment ever. You would be a fool not to get this!

I love this Magna Cart. Out of the box as I held It, it felt durable and easy to use. It also helps that it was inexpensive. It is very convenient and has made it easier to wheel my belongings back an forth from car to work and back. I am a postal carrier and having weight restrictions because of injuryies it has been hard to carry my heavy cooler full of water as well as my purse and other belongings. I looked for a light trolley, pulley, or cart on Amazon and compared many of them. I chose this particular one from the discription of durability and to much weight it can carry as well as easy of use and of course compactability. My day to day life while at work has been easier.

We bought this hand truck to help us move boxes and bins into a vacation condo we recently purchased. We have lived in a SFH for 40 years and getting things from a parking lot into an elevator and the condo was a distant memory for me and my wife. I bought this hand truck because it folded up into a small package and appeared to be able to handle heavy loads. It did not disappoint. We used it to move plastic bins, and boxes of KDF furniture we bought at furniture store. We used it to move the bins down a few concrete stairs out of our house. It kept the load stable while we pushed it down each stair. One of the boxes we loaded was a full dresser knocked down into a single box. We were able to load that box and a couple of others on top it. Total weight was probably about 75 lbs. We used the bungee cords recommended by Amazon, using two yellow ones for the heavier loads. The platform at the bottom of the hand truck isn't large, but we were able to move everything without any problems. My wife loves and it uses it to move boxes of food from a warehouse store. It's light and easy to carry when folded. We are very happy with the purchase. I have used industrial hand trucks to move very heavy boxes. I wouldn't want to use this if I was a professional mover and or was delivering boxes of paper or heavy equipment to an office or warehouse. But for the kinds of things most homeowners will use, it will handle much heavier loads more than your lower back can lift. I highly recommend this folding cart. In fact, I’m buying another one to give as a gift to someone. This is a good purchase.

I could go on and on about how useful this thing is but let me just tell you about its last little triumph when it moved a king size bed in a box (Signature Sleep Contour 8-Inch Mattress, King) into a third story bedroom. The cart was purchased in early 2012 so as of this review it's almost four years old. The only thing I don't like is the way narrow handle doesn't fit my grip but I solved that by spiraling a thick foam twist-tie over the existing foam padding.
