Gator bag for 2 speaker stands or 3 microphone stands
I received this new bag, today, and am very impressed. I've always had good luck with Gator products but this was better than usual. I wanted it for carrying microphones and was hopeful it would hold all three stands (with booms). I was afraid it wouldn't hold all of the stands with the booms since that was not mentioned in the literature. I was wrong. It held all three boom stands plus a triple guitar stand plus a bag of miscellaneous stuff. It is made of their good, heavy canvas. Now that I know how much it will hold, I'll order another for my speaker stands.

Great Capacity!
For reference as to the 50" Deluxe Dual compartment bag capacity. I just packed 5 (five) Manfrotto 367B light stands in one side and 2 (two) Manfrotto 420B Boom Stands in the other side! It is a snug fit, so there's no room left for counter weight bags (they would fit if they were empty) and I would not put them in there anyway as with seven stands the load is heavy enough! My counter weight bags are filled with led shot, about 8 pounds each. This bag seems very nicely made and I am very pleased to see that I can fit all these lighting stands in this one bag. I think I'm going to get a second for tripods and umbrellas and more light stands.

I'm going to purchase two more
Purchased to replace a padded OnStage stand bag which both zipper pulls broke and then the zippers split at both ends. That OnStage bag also developed tears where the handles attach, which is another reason this Gator bag gets a good rating. The handles on this Gator bag are sewn on at angles and run down the side to the bottom panel, so when you lift it by just one handle (someone helping you is going to do that, even if you tell them not to) the stress is not on just the corner of the seam (which is why the OnStage bags tear), but along the entire seam. It's also much lighter weight than the padded OnStage (this Gator has no padding) but I think it is going to protect against scrapes and scuffs just fine. I was able to fit two standard OnStage speaker stands and two tripod mic stands without manipulations. Anything more might be too much, but it's exactly right for my application.

Using for C-stands, and works a treat

Great bag!!
5 stars! Was able to fit 2 large speaker stands as well as the 100ft length of speaker wires for each stand. It was a bit tight at first but some adjusts to the wire locations and the direction the stands faced made zipping it up easy. (It should be noted that this was not the intention of the product makers it was made only for the stands. I was trying to kill 2 birds with one stone for easier setup later so if you therefore damage the bag from overloading it and not using common sense that's your fault not theirs.) Only thing i might complain about later is longevity as the bags seem to be thin material wise; only time will tell. Until then I am very happy that now ONE MAN can carry FOUR SPEAKER STANDS all at one time!!! Oh the joy!!! (2 per bag, incase you get confused)

You Could Fit a Gator in There!
So the 50" single compartment bag is quite roomy- it is loooong so just be sure you really need the length. Just a tad longer that it needs to be to hold my CHAUVET DJ CH06 lighting stand and two On-Stage speaker stands. Not really an issue though I maybe could have gotten away with something shorter. Just wanted to err on the side of caution. The fit otherwise is pretty tight but I can zip it up without too much difficulty or stress on the zipper. What I do is center the light stand, cover it with a towel and then lay a speaker stand on each side. It's still new so no opinion yet on durability but for now this sure seems to be a great addition for the price.

Works for photography light stands too!
Purchased for photography light stands. I use some tall ones so even when down they are fairly long (48"). Looking at stand bags specifically for photography they got expensive quick (the few I could find long enough that is). Gator to the rescue! Having been a musician in the past I immediately recognized the brand and when is saw the price for a dual stand bag, well, I jumped on it. Glad I did! Fantastic bag with room to spare so I was able to store another, smaller stand plus the cold shoe mounts.

Tripod Speaker Stands - No
The carry bag looked like a great solid product from Gator right out of the box from Amazon. I got the speaker stand bag to hold my 2 very small 36" high tripod speaker stand in this spacious 40 inch bag dual compartments that is intended for sub-woofer poles. The original 36" OEM bag had got torn up and the zipper had gave out. As shown in the picture, the folded up tripod-speaker stand just does not fit! I could not close the zipper from either end with the folded tripod speaker stand in the compartment. In the picture I also show a mic stand in the other side compartment; it fit just great. So if you are buying this carry bag for 2 speaker tripod stands, do not! If you are buying it for just 2 mic stands do buy it. Save yourself 10 inches, most other bags are 50 inches long. I is a very nice bag for just only 2 mics and lucky for me and Amazon I was in the market for a 2 mic stand bag. I am keeping the bag to look good for my next gig with my mics tucked away in this pro mic stand bag by Gator.

Very nice
The 2 individual zippered pockets were a must for me since I did not want the 2 stands to be banging into each other. Everything feels very nicely made and I don't expect to need replacing for many many years. Note that this is only 50" long. Most standard speaker stands will fit it. But if you were like me and ordered a 2nd set for your light stands, most light stands are longer than this while collapsed. I think the cheap ebay stands will fit, but anything that is remotely heavy duty will not. I ended up returning one set and going with the Gator GPA-SPKSTDBG-58DLX which is 58" long. Just long enough for the heavy duty light stands. Also note, that even though the description says it comes with a shoulder strap, it indeed does not. Was not a big deal to me as I probably wouldn't have used it anyway since I just use the carrying handles. Maybe mine was just missing it but I know even the 58" didn't come with one. In fact, I don't even see a place to where you would attach the strap if it was missing. Maybe you can ask the seller before buying if you really wanted one

Perfect for tall light stands
This bag EASILY holds 2 Impact Light Stands Impact Air-Cushioned Heavy Duty Light Stand - Black, 9'6" (2.9m) and an Impact Multiboom Light Stand Impact Multiboom Light Stand and Reflector Holder - 13' (4m) . They fold up to about 43". Widthwise, it would probably even hold another one if I felt inclined to pack it a bit tighter. It was difficult to find a bag that would hold 3 because of their length. The bag isn't padded, but the material quality looks heavy duty. I can't see it getting ripped or the post punching a hole through the end for a long time. Zippers with pulls are top notch. The only thing its missing is a shoulder strap but I'll get along without it.
