I really love this product. I have had it for two days now and been practicing on it every chance I get after work. For the price, I think it is perfect for any beginner to intermediate player. It has a great feel to it and the design is simple but very nice. Even though it is inexpensive, I think that Dean put some effort into making well-built guitars for a low price. I don't think you will be disappointed.

I mainly bought this to learn how to play bass with the game Rocksmith [Download]. I can tell you if you're a left handed person looking to purchase your first bass guitar, you won't be disappointed! My only real gripes: -Didn't come with a strap -No picks -And both of the knobs had to be tightened Other than that, I'm in love with this thing and I can almost play all of Surrender by Cheaptrick :)

I really love this bass. I am a beginner and have been only playing for four months. I don't know that much about basses. But the first three months I was playing a Squier P-Bass. That one is more expensive than this but I find this one way easier to play, it's really light and has a great feel. I've made a lot more progress since I switched to learning on this bass so I'm glad I got it. I sounds really cool too. I think this is a perfect beginner bass. I also love the way it looks, the design is awesome.

There's something I really like about Dean E09 bass guitars. I have a RH model but due to an injury to my left side I found it hard to cover fret board using chords. I ordered this LH bass model and was even more pleased with it than my RH model. I enjoy playing it even though I haven't done a setup. I tune the bass at every use but have found it holding tune quite well.

received the bass a day early, played it with rocksmith all day and oh my is it comfortable and the tone is great. came already tuned standard which saved me some time

I love it and price oh my...

Neat guitar. Simple one pickup design. All you need, really. The voice of the guitar stands up to the best of them. Low and mean with a pick or warm and comfortable with fingers.

Amazing bass 4 a starter! I have many friends in bands always wanted to learn bass!... finally pulled thw trigger and this one is a must have 4 a starter!

Perfect to start! Sounds nice and it's beautiful.

Well I'm just a beginner but my husband knows his stuff and told me his very first bass was also a Dean and that it was a good place to start! It's comfortable not too heavy and sounds great!
