Best packing tape ever!
This is the best packing tape ever! Hard to believe that one can get excited over packing tape, but after using several brands that don't work, it's nice to find a product that does what it is supposed to! This tape is clear, so you can use it over USPS shipping labels that you print out at home. It does not stick to itself and get into a tangled mess. It's easy to find where the tape starts on the roll, so you don't have to bend back a small piece or spend a ton of time and energy trying to peel it off the roll. It sticks firmly to cardboard boxes, paper, etc, and does not peel off. I've used 3M, Scotch and other brands, and this is hands down the best tape ever!

Sticky and good.
VERY sticky. I wrapped my wife up in this while she was sleeping and it took forever to get off. She admitted it was a hilarious prank but the tape was such high quality it made removal difficult and painful. We are still together, but now she sleeps with a gun under her pillow. As a violent criminal I assumed she could not get a gun legally, but she assures me it is all above board and properly licensed. What can I do but trust her, I love her so very much.

Duck - High Performance Packaging Tape
Not all packaging tape is made the same!! I recently moved and purchased 3M's packaging tape instead of Duck and regret my decision of going for the cheaper tape. Since it was my first time using any type of packaging tape, I thought the loud sounds of the tape rolling off the roll was normal but it was so annoying so I decided to buy this tape instead. Now I can tape my boxes with peace of mind since this tape only has a slight sound at the beginning but it's not even noticeable unless you try. The tape is fairly strong and doesn't fray off into small strips and has great tack even when the package is chilled in the refrigerator. However, I found that Duck's standard packaging tape is the quietest tape there is but is a lot thinner than this one.

Thick Sticky Packaging Tape Better Than Scotch Brand
This was my first purchase of this product, I had been using the USPS and Scotch brand packing tape previously for the past 33 years. No comparison. Duck brand was thicker, clear and only required one swipe to seal the box. Scotch brand needed 2-3 swipes of tape. The Duck brand is about twice as thick and it is obviously crystal clear (see attached picture). Cost breakdown per roll: this item: .172 cents per yard larger rolls of the Duct product packaging tape: .127 cents yard Scotch: .198 yard

Worth paying for this name brand
You can buy cheaper packing tape but it will pull away from the seam of the box you out it on or it'll tear in ways you don't want it to. I use this stuff for online returns and packing away small kids' clothes and it's great. When I used the cheap stuff left over from my last move, I always regretted it. I just used this to patch up a corner of window film that my cat tore away from the window frame and it's sticking well to bridge the gap to the painted wood even in 15 degree temperatures. Worth the money if you need it to stay in place.

I'm as close to a professional packer as you can get, but not a professional packer.
I've had to move a LOT... more than I'd care to admit. I'd used a LOT of tape. You know what I hate? BAD tape... you know the one I'm talking about, you take a strip off it starts whirling in the wind and then next thing you know is all stuck to itself like a bad hair day. THIS tape right here.... is the good stuff. It's THICK, super sticky and easy to use. Who knew that tape makes a difference, but spend a little bit more and buy this tape. I had been using 3M/Scoptch brand up until now, because the moving tape they now sell does NOT stick well. I would pack a box and a couple days later, notice that the tape actually lifted cleanly from the box. This has happened to every single box I packed with the 3M stuff. The Duck Brand.... this is the way to go.

Trusted Weekly Used Tape For Powerseller See Use Tip!
This is my go-to tape for online packages. It’s thick, it’s clear as glass, and it sticks like a champ. Anyone who ships antiques and collectibles knows when it comes to packing tape you get what you pay for. The dollar store and bargain bin tapes will ruin your labels, come undone and often unravel in transit. This tape goes perfectly over printedlabels for easy scanning of barcodes. My post master can tell when I use this tape as it doesn’t wrinkle or bunch up over the labels. TIP - for those who state this tape doesn’t stick well - you have to press your hands firmly over the tape to ensure it presses against the box. Smooth your hands over the surfaces you covered and for added protection cycle the tape over so the ends stick to other taped areas.

So far, so good.
I do a lot of eBay shipping, and have always used 3M tape to pack up my items. No complaints there. I'll be moving soon and have recently begun packing everything up. Well, I started to burn through that 3M tape pretty darn quick. Not wanting to use up all of my "premium" tape, just to move, I came on here looking for something just as good, but cheaper. This product fit the bill (bill, like a Duck, get it?), nicely. It's a bit cheaper than the 3M stuff and seems to work just as well. It's quality feels about the same as the 3M stuff. I haven't had any problems with tape peeling off, but then again, I'm just moving then unpacking. I'm not storing the boxes, or anything like that, where how long the tape will retain its hold might come into play. So, I can't speak to that aspect. I know they sell tape specially designed for long-term storage, but I've never tried it. This tape also lives up to its "crystal clear" specs. It's VERY clear, perfect for covering shipping labels, etc. Oh, and I'm using this tape in a 3M-branded dispenser. I prefer their dispensers over the Duck-branded ones. I find the tape slips out of the Duck-branded ones too often. I'll definitely be ordering Duck-brand tape, in the future. It seems to be just as good as any other tape I've used, and will most certainly hold up for a trip through the mail.

Best tape for moving long distance and still sticking to boxes 4 + months later!!!
Best tape there is for moving, let me tell you. It was huge move for us via container, ocean voyage etc. I wanted to make sure my things arrived in good condition and my boxes would be out on the ocean for 2 weeks then into a more humid climate etc. Bottom line, I WILL ALWAYS USE THIS TAPE FOR SHIPPING, MAILING AND ANYTHING THAT ELSE NEEDS A TIGHT SEAL THAT LASTS. All my boxes arrived with the tape still securely fastened down tight and the boxes still in my garage, it's been 4 months since we arrived, are still very secure using this very tape and none of them have opened up unless I cut them open. It was my whole adult life packed up in those boxes and Duck HD Clear came through for me. I used up 12 rolls of this stuff. Buy their tape dispenser, also invaluable too. Thank you Duck products. I am so impressed with this product!!!!
