I haven’t been showing for very long, but I joined a Facebook group for beginners and keep seeing people using Wonder Clips and talking about how great they are. I absolutely hate pinning things and wanted to give them a try, but the namebrand ones are extremely expensive for the amount you get. I read tons of Amazon reviews before deciding on these ones and am happy with the purchase. I don’t think that they can replace pinning completely, and they’re not really meant to I don’t think, but for most projects these are great. I have been making baby bibs and struggle when going around the top piece because it’s very narrow and the pins from one side stick you all working on the other, and these made it a breeze. I did read several reviews for these clips and others like them where people complain about how hard they are to open, but I didn’t have a problem at all. You do have to use a little bit of pressure, but that’s because they are meant for sewing and having a snug grip even on thin layers of fabric, so they’re perfect for what they’re intended for. If you see, for the price, these are worth having in my opinion. I took a picture before opening them so you can see how they arrived, the loose pins, and then just clipped some bias tape to scrap fabric for reference.

I use these for all kinds of things from sewing to attaching bags to the side of the pot while cooking sous vide. Decent quality, much more than I expected for the price.

Love the tin it came in! Lots of different colors, just perfect!

Love these and the cute little tin! I wanted more Wonder Clips for my new sewing hobby but didn't want to pay the high price for Clover brand. When I found a lightning deal for these, I jumped on the offer! They look almost identical to the ones by Clover, albeit they are *slightly* harder to open than Clover brand but it's not a large difference and it's not as if I'm straining to open them. They came in very handy when I made my father a weighted blanket for Christmas. I would definitely purchase these again or buy these as a gift for a new or experienced sewer. You can never have too many clips!

These are FANTASTIC! These are really great quality and are super strong little clips. A few people have complained about the size so I added a picture of one of the clips next to a straight pin...I think they're the perfect size! The tin these came in is adorable as well. I'm already planning on ordering another set. These are so much more affordable than the ones you get at the fabric shop. 100% pleased with this purchase!

These are terrific for several applications, and I definitely suggest buying by the hundred - much cheaper per each than the first ones I bought (maybe 12 of them?). I like having the different colors as well, which can help if you need to keep track of certain measurements. They can't replace pins, though, when you need two pieces temporarily attached together at a point that's not an edge. Obviously, you also can't iron over them, and you have to remove them before they get near the sewing machine's presser foot. But otherwise, they work great. They are strong enough to hold together a potholder for binding, which would be 6 layers of fabric, one layer of thin batting, and a layer of Timtex.

I ordered these sewing clips for my daughter who is 6 years old. I am putting together a sewing kit for her. For her kit, she did not want any sewing pins, because they are sharp. I found these clips as a great alternative!!! They are easy to use and will also help with her fine motor skills. The clips do have measurement lines on the back, which will tremendously help her with her first sewing project, which is a doll dress. The tin is absolutely adorable!! It is small and fits perfectly inside her little wooden box.

These are the cutest little clips. Pretty colors, they are small but have a great holding power. I love the little vintage style storage tin they come in to hold when not being used. Excellent price. Much more expensive in the stores even when using coupons. Very pleased with my purchase!!

I had never heard of sewing clips, but stumbled across these sewing clips on one of Amazon's flash-sale pages, and they were so inexpensive I thought, "eh, why not?" Turns out they're totally a "where have these been all my life??!?!?" product! Sewing clips are so much quicker and easier than sewing pins, both for putting-on and for taking-off. The variety of colors somehow makes them extra fun to use -- more like a toy than a tool. (My 8-year-old daughter was completely taken with them for the same reason, and has plans to steal a handful for hanging things in her room and for other projects....) The storage tin is such a handy touch -- design is a random choice, but the one I got was a vintage image similar to the one in the Amazon photo. Of course, these only work if you're attaching two pieces of fabric with a 1/2" or smaller seam -- you don't have quite as much flexibility of use as with traditional pins. They do work with several layers of fabric, e.g. when you fold a rough edge under for a double-layer seam (sorry, don't know the technical term for that!). But for most sewers, a basic seam for two pieces of fabric is the vast majority of what you need to pin, and these nifty clips will save you time and energy on that front.

I read reviews on everything before I buy. Based on the reviews I read, I was teetering between these or the more expensive name brand. Since I am proudly a "bargain shopper", I decided to give these a try. If you find yourself in the same situation, my advice is this: Do NOT spend the extra money on the name brand. These are amazing little clips. I bought them for sewing but then used them to hold thin cardboard pieces together temporarily for a craft project. I used every single one of these clips and they all worked perfectly. No broken clips, none of the springs popped off and they have a good, tight, powerful grip on them. Love these and recommend them highly!
