I'm giving it a 5 instead of a 4 because my wife and I were both surprised as to how big the actual tray is. We expected it to be about 30% smaller than it is. Highly recommend if you have a Bumbo seat (we got ours from Facebook for $15 in like new condition). I'm sure our 7 month old is glad she doesn't have to bend over at 35 degree angles to grab toys now. Perfect surface for suction toys, I'd say they stick better to this than our high chair table. Would recommend and buy again.

Our daughter loves this seat. We use it all the time. She enjoys feeling like she is a part of the family because the family will sit on the floor and watch a movie together and she will be right there with us. Our daughter is a preemie and she will be 4 mos on the 9th of May. She is very tiny but fits very good in this chair. We love it.

Oh my gosh! I wish I would have known about this tray a few months ago! I love putting my little baby girl (9.5 months), on the kitchen island to eat in her bumbo or the bumbo on top of a table to eat vs her high chair. It was/is way less messier in the bumbo, as well as much easier to clean up than the high chair (even before I purchased the tray). Prior to purchasing the tray, I would have to hand her the food to eat it, or put a few pieces on top of the middle of the bumbo for her to grab. Now I just put it on the tray!! Some of the reviews said it was difficult to attach to the bumbo. I found it rather easy. I slide a small portion of the bumbo off the counter (w/baby in it), to be able to get the base of the tray underneath it. This tray is awesome!

So happy I finally found a color that wasn’t blue, pink or grey! It’s a pretty lavender color and matches my daughters room perfect. She fits in it now at 2 months with extra head support. My other two kids weren’t able to use this seat (different color) after 7 months because their legs were too chunky. So for a few months of having my daughter beside me on the counter- even though that may be frowned upon by some mom shamers out there- is worth every penny. It keeps her happy to feel like she’s a part of the action. A happy baby is a less stressed momma!

My daughter is almost 9 months old and 20+ lbs. I love using the Bumbo. It's so easy to move around the house. She's started eating recently and all she wants are finger foods. My 2 year old uses the highchair and so I decided to try the tray despite the negative reviews. She has chunky thighs and she goes right in with the tray on, but taking her out is a little more difficult, but It's doable for sure. Once she gets bigger it might not be so easy, but It's working and there is plenty of room. I really wish I would have gotten the tray sooner, but glad I got it when I did. She hasn't tried to get out, but I would NOT USE it without supervision. She could easily push her hips up and pop out. It's a nice little addition and over all happy with it. If things change I'll update the post.

My daughter has acid reflux really bad, so she loves sitting up... She is just barely 2 months old and we got this chair today. She was crying and I put her in and she was happy as can be. Sat in it for about 30 minutes, which is great for my squirmy little kiddo!

I was wary about using this because I read somewhere that it was bad for babies' hips and/or prevents babies from learning to sit properly by themselves. However, my pediatrician actually recommended it to give my son less time on his back (his head was getting a little flat, as many baby's do). I got this for my baby at 3 months and he's been using it since. Now, at 7 months, my baby can sit up on his own, but I still sit him in this from time to time and he likes hanging out here and playing with his toys. The key, according to my doctor, is moderation. He only sits in it for 15 minutes at a time, at most 30.

I usually don't write reviews if there are several on the board, however I was shocked to see so many bad reviews, and it's ovbious to me that those reviewers who said their child pulled the tray top off, didn't properly attached it. First, you have to put this tray together as it comes in two pieces, the center piece that attaches to the front of the bumbo attaches to the top piece AND YOU HAVE TO HEAR IT SNAP. After that you never take them apart, there's simply no need (and looking at it I think it'd be really hard to do actually) the whole thing together is the tray. Then to attach the tray to the Bumbo seat SIT YOUR CHILD IN THE SEAT and slide the top tray part over the middle hump of the bumbo, then slide the center part under the bottom of the Bumbo seat. There is no way a baby could pull the tray off, as you will find it requires a little effort to remove it by an adult in fact, as it should be. I have NEVER taken my baby out of the seat with the tray on it, and I can't find the instructions now but I'm pretty sure it said something there about that... in any case, the Bumbo snuggles your baby in a way that I think I would hurt my baby's legs if I pull him out with the tray on anyway... or maybe my baby is just too fat! (LOL) But seriously, this tray is great... before, when I sat my baby in the seat he'd look at his toys on the floor with a sad face, because they were just out of reach for him, now they can be placed on the tray and he'll play for happily for a long time. Also, THIS SEAT IS NOT A HIGH CHAIR AND SHOULD NOT BE USED AS ONE there's a BIG WARNING about that on the seat, actually... your baby could get out of the seat and fall, so if you place it on a high surface your baby could end up hurt. This seat should be use at floor level only.

This is a great seat for my baby. He has learned to sit up better and straighter in this seat. It also builds his neck muscles. It holds him in very well. I usually put my son in this seat while we are eating so he can be near us and still see us. I bought this in conjunction with the Bumbo Floor Seat Tray. He enjoys playing with his toys while in this seat. The only negative I have found is that it can be a little difficult at times to get his legs pushed in the slots. I find that it makes it easier to move the center piece over to one side or another so his legs will go in easier.

Perfect fit for my 3 month baby that even being so little she just wants to be sitting down. I also got her the tray and toy and she loves them.
