We've used Pirate Bay about a dozen times now, since we purchased it, and it's still a ton of fun for our kids. Set up is easy - basically you lay it out and inflate it using the blower that's included. Once it's inflated, which takes about three minutes, you stake it down, hook up the hose and let the kids go wild. So far, we've used it with several different children ranging in age from six to thirteen and it's been fun for most of them. The thirteen year old was less excited, but the six year olds lost their collective minds. It's very durable, which is great considering these kids have gone to town on every part of it. Honestly, they slide down again, over and over again, bounce in the bounce house like fiends and basically dance around like crazy kids in the splash area. It's just awesome to see! Once the fun is over, cleanup is a breeze. It takes a bit longer, as you have to let the air out, let the water out of the unit, and then re-inflate it so that it drys (you also need to flip it over to dry, too, as the bottom WILL get wet. All in all, it takes a few hours to dry out, but then you can roll it up and put it in it's storage bag until the next time you use it (which for us has been almost every day). Totally worth it!

First of all, i debated on buying this for months and I will say that it is well worth it i think. You use this thing twice and its paid for itself considering what companies charge to rent these things but trust that you will get far more than that out of it. It blows up in about 30 seconds and honestly probably weighs somewhere around 50-65 lbs I'm guessing. You must dry this out prior to putting up which is not terrible but just put in in your driveway (or concrete of some sort) after use on a hot day and its dry within an hour or 2. This no longer comes with a bag to store the item so i bought a tupperware box basically to put mine in. It does includes straps to tie it together. The hardest part is taking it down and putting it up but trust me when i say that i think its worth it!

We have only used the Blast Zone twice so far. It is a huge hit with the grandchildren. My husband measured the yard to make sure we have plenty of room. The wading area is a generous size and the bounce area accommodates 4 children easily. They love the slide and crawl through tunnel. The fabric is very sturdy. We purchased a large tarp for extra protection on the bottom. It is easy to set up and to take down. Just be aware that a lot of water will flood the yard. We used hoses to syphon it and directed to the storm drain. It is easy to dry out by reinflating and letting it stand for a couple of hours. We store the blast zone in a large tote with wheels and keep the pump seperate.

I was worried this wouldn't hold up for my bigger kids (12, 9, 7) but they LOVE it! We had about 15 kids on it for a party, and although chaotic, the kids had a blast. Took their boogie boards down the slide. Never once did it collapse. The air blower motor does get hot, so we put up a beach umbrella over it. It takes 2 minutes to fill up with air, and an hour or two to get the water filled. But it is FL and 100F outside, kids used it as soon as it was inflated. They played on it all day. When we were done using it,we left it deflated overnight and we let it dry out the next day in the sun. Then took the leaf blower and towels to it to get it completely dry to pack it up. The thing is SO heavy to move and folding it up into the bag is ridiculous. But all in all, the kids love it and it is much cheaper than renting a blow up one a couple times.

Kids love it! Beware of the bigger kids who are too rough on it. Best for kids ages 6 and under. Our 18 month old grand daughter loves the splash pool and it only gets to a depth of 4 or 5 inches. Once it is up, it stays up or you lose the water so plan on it being up for about 3 to 4 hours. Went up fast and easy. We were worried that the water would be too much when we emptied it but it wasn't. When you're not using the water you can turn it off. Wish you could turn the cannons off as they continually spray water. Biggest complaint is that the kids get real cold from all of the spraying water., We'd buy it again!

The kids absolutely love it. It works perfectly. Good quality. Intelligently designed and intuitive set-up. No instructions required. It comes with the electric air pump which needs an electrical outlet with a ground. The only thing is that you have to set it up so that the electrical line doesn't cross the water hose for obvious safety reasons. So, the cage should be near the house and the pool should be away from the house towards the outside hose. I highly recommended it. Your kids will love it. The only problem is that they'll even want to play on it when it's windy and cold.

I don’t typically write reviews because I Honestly don’t feel like it, but I feel compelled to do so as this product is amazing !!! For the money you can’t go wrong.

It costs $300 to rent one of these things, so we bought this for a birthday party. Easy enough for solo dad to setup... Bought an extension cord, unfolded it, and blew it up. Took a few minutes to figure out how to hook up the hose & the associated velcro straps, but not too bad (and I'm not really handy). Hours and hours of fun later, I let it deflate and then wiped it down with a towel. To date, we've used it 6 time this summer - my wife even set it up with my 8 year old (although it was pretty heavy for them). Would buy again

I had read all the reviews and went back and forth because of the cost but decided to take the plunge. This turned out to be a big hit with my grandchildren. It's very easy to set up... and once it's set up, to turn it on.. you just flip the switch to inflate and then turn on the water. Even my 9 year old grandson is able to do it. I didn't downgrade it but one suggestion would be to put a big more padding on the very bottom pool area as when the kids slide down, they are basically going to the flat surface with no cushion between the bottom layer and the ground underneath. Sometimes with a thud. If there was just a bit of inflation or cushion on the bottom pool area, I think that would be a great improvement. Other than that, it was just great and definitely worth the money.
