I never write reviews but this stuff downright amazes me:- A bit too much information for some ppl so if you don’t like reading about poop related matters please read on. However, I didn’t find any reviews of this nature so thought it might be helpful for some considering the product. (Most reviews are written by athletes or ppl who workout looking to replenish their bodies 👍). I had two tablets yesterday (one in morning, one in evening) dissolved each in actually 8oz of water (despite the recommended 16oz). It is so pleasant to taste, it improves water! BUT the big surprise came in the morning when I must have passed 2 weeks of poop in the toilet. (Come on we all poop, seriously). I didn’t even buy the product for this purpose. I have problems with my adrenals which causes me to sweat non-stop even when it’s freezing out. I was hoping to put back into my body what I was losing. So this product ended up being an added surprise after trying everything out there for chronic constipation caused by being on too many medications. Doesn’t matter how much water I drink, I was always backed up until I found this beauty. Thank you Nuun! Oh and in case anyone is wondering whether this is the old version or newer version: I believe it is the older “better” version. Very pleasant in taste, I actually look forward to adding it to my water and didn’t take long to dissolve at all.

I buy the Nuun Active Hydration in this 4-pack every month or two. I have to drink something with sodium in it to retain salt. I have no adrenal glands. Gatorade is expensive and too high in calories. I only like one flavor it, also. I love all 4 flavors of this 4-pack, although I really love the Citrus flavor the most. Nuun is low-calorie and all-natural, unlike most drinks mixes. It is easy and convenient when traveling or to keep handy in my purse. Most of all, it works for my needs. For those who don't know the difference between the 3 types of Nuun, you may be giving an inappropriate review. There are 3 major types: 1) This one, Active hydration. Each tube has 12 tablets, each making a 16 oz serving. They are easily split if necessary. The ingredients and nutrition are as follows: Active Ingredients Sodium (carbonates) 360.0 mg Potassium (bicarbonate) 100.0 mg Magnesium (sulfate) 25.0 mg Calcium (carbonate) 12.5 mg Vitamin C 19.0 mg Vitamin B2 500 mcg Other ingredients: citric acid, sorbitol, sodium carbonate, natural colors flavors, sodium bicarbonate, potassium bicarbonate, polyethylene glycol, magnesium sulfate, sodium benzoate, calcium carbonate, acesulfame potassium, riboflavin-5-phosphate. 2) U Natural Hydration (A Nuun Product) Active Ingredients Vitamin A 1375 IU Vitamin C 10.0 mg Thiamin 330 mcg Riboflavin 460 mcg Niacin 5.5 mg Vitamin B-6 550 mcg Folate 110 mcg Vitamin B-12 1 mcg Biotin 66 mcg Pantothenic Acid 2.0 mg Magnesium 20.0 mg Zinc 2.0 mg Sodium (carbonates) 180 mg Potassium (bicarbonate) 77 mg Choline (bitartrate) 110 mg Stevia Leaf Extract Level 41 mg Other ingredients: dextrose, citric acid, natural flavors, vegetable juice color, sesame oil. 3) Nuun All Day Hydration Vitamin A 750 IU Vitamin C 60 mg Vitamin D 200 IU Vitamin E 15 IU Thiamin 750 mcg Riboflavin 850 mcg Niacin 10 mg Vitamin B-6 1 mg Vitamin B-1 23 mcg Pantothenic Acid 5 mg Magnesium 20 mg Zinc 750 mcg Selenium 3.5 mcg Manganese 100 mcg Chromium 6 mcg Sodium 60 mg Potassium 200 mg Other ingredients: citric acid, sorbitol, natural flavors, stevia leaf extract, natural color, wheat germ oil. UPDATE: I've also tried a new (to me) product called "Fizz" recently. I like it. It is not as sweet as Nuun, but very good. I've only used the grapefruit flavor. It doesn't dissolve quite as well as Nuun, so have to mix/shake/stire it at some point. http://smile.amazon.com/Hammer-Endurolyte-Fizz-Grapefruit-Tablets-54-6g/dp/B004UELJNO/ref=pd_sim_hpc_1?ie=UTF8&refRID=0QRV97YF08TV4B8VN8QS

Do I run? No. Do I work out? Let's be honest: no. But I'll tell you what I do almost every weekend with friends. I go get drinks out at some bar in the city. I don't drink heavily at all but holy hell does getting old remove your ability to tolerate any level of alcohol. Hangovers are now the norm and, rather than lasting halfway through breakfast like they did when I was 18, they linger for the entire day. But then I found Nuun. I AM FREEEEEEEEE!!!! It is the single greatest hangover remedy known to mankind. I drink one before I go out. Bam. Pre-hydrated. I drink one when I wake up. Boom. Post-hydrated. Do I still get hungover? YES. But now, instead of lurking in the corner of my throbbing vision like a sexy mistake from last night that just wants to hang out and talk after stealing my pillow for the whole evening, the hangover leaves after showering and a quick breakfast. C'est magnifique.

The old formula is far superior to the new formula which includes Stevia and is sickeningly artificially sweet. I am so happy Amazon continues to sell the old formula. This is so great for runners. If you are running in the winter and wear a hydration belt if you drop part of a nuun tablet (or salt) into your water bottles your water will not freeze on long runs. It is also great after a run or workout. These tablets give you the electrolytes you need and they are cheaper and less sweet and have less calories than Gatorade. I add a tablet or half a tablet to water even when I haven’t worked out just to give my water some taste

I bought these for a friend and I. A part of our kit to travel through India and Thailand on a volunteer trip. I wouldn't say they're essential. But, If you need them you'll be very glad you have them. One day I feel ill. My body crumbled under the weight of jet lag, poor sleeping patterns, and exhaustion. Volunteering does that to you. So I stayed in bed for a day, slept, ate, and rehydrated myself with Nuun. By the next day I was up and working again no problems. The taste is 3/5 Presentation 3/5 -The tablets are big, sometimes you have to split them in half to fit them in a bottle or canteen. Quantity 5/5 -Travelled for 20 days, and between two people we couldn't finish them. Would I buy them again? Yes Would I recommend them? Yes

There isn’t anything I dislike about this product. Convenient and works great! We use it all summer long whenever my husband sweats a lot. ( which is all the time ) My husband has had horrible leg cramps because he sweats a lot and loses a lot of his Electrolytes but this product just drops in a bottle of water and dissolves. It was easy to drink and taste fine. But it works amazingly well and whenever he drinks a couple of bottles of that during the day he never has cramps. And also he does not get all the chemicals and whatever else is in Gatorade. We’ve been using it for several years

I have a health condition that requires me to drink a lot of water and consume a lot of sodium. This kills two birds with one stone, it both makes the water palatable and delivers sodium. I've tried the hammer ones and they had a lot less sodium and didn't taste good at all. The only thing that works better than nuun for this are the saltstick capsules when I'm in a pinch and need salt as soon as possible.

I can definitely tell how I feel riding with and without these in my pack. I would recommend starting with 1 tablet and then bumping it up to 2 in a camel back to see how your stomach handles it.

I have long been a fan of these NUUN "electrolyte enhanced drink tabs" and am so glad this formula which uses Sorbitol as the main sweetener is still available. For those of you of a certain age who've never tried these, think Adult Fizzies...If like me, you hate the bitter aftertaste of stevia, note that the newer version labeled "ACTIVE" includes stevia.

On a typical hike I will go thru 2 quarts of water on the way up. I drop a Nuun in each of my bottles at the start of the hike. It gives the water a little flavor (not overpowering) and helps me restore the electrolytes lost from sweat.
