Great fun, using less space
I bought this as a housewarming gift for my grand-daughter. They just moved to an apartment and the modular shape does not take up too much room. She is loving playing chef w/all of her friends, family. I went a little crazy and ordered a bunch of accessories which gives her much to choose from. Vegan, vegatarian, carnivore all all taken care of, on beautiful dishes. It comes w/ a phone so she can make up orders to go for customers. There is no limit to raising imagination. She practices writing down orders, adding up order totals and proper quantity of ingredients. This little chef is flying! WARNING: Stickers and instructions not delivered, complicated process to receive. MANUFACTURER NEEDS TO BE ALERTED. Amazon was, as usual, very helpful, however, policy of having to reorder the Little Tike kitchen just for stickers needs addressing. A real pain(bottom of box)to retrieve stickers, took 1 hr 45 min to repack box properly and then return. Way too complicated.

Love it!!!
This kitchen is adorable!!! It is not hard to put together at all!! Only tool you need is a screwdriver. I bought this as a Christmas gift for my best friends 2 children ages 2 and 4, it's going to be perfect for them. My 6 year old daughter gave it a test play just to make sure it was good. (She loves it wishes she had.one too) I had planed to buy her a kitchen this Christmas and changed my mind thinking none of them would be big enough for her, I should have got her one too... a very special thing to me is this product is made in the USA and on the back is a tag that says packed with pride by, I. Thompson. I will be purchasing more little tikes products in the future.

fantastic!!!!
great for the price compared to other kitchens. stove has a button that bubbles like boiling pot and also sizzling like a fryingn pan. she played with it for like 3 hours straight. bought play food from amazon and she kept filling the oven, fridge, microwave and cabinet and dishholder. looks real and works like real.

... stars because my daughter is over the moon in love with it
I gave it 5 stars because my daughter is over the moon in love with it. The little feet were a bit of a challenge to get in and we had to shave a little bit of the plastic out to get one of them in. It seems to lean forward so the dishes won't stay in place and the white cabinet door comes open. Will probably just put some velcro on the door. For the price it didn't disappoint.

Our daughter's favorite Christmas present
We bought this play kitchen for our daughter (21 months) after looking at reviews for several different kitchens. We ultimately selected this one because of its compact size and shape that fits neatly into a corner, the neutral color scheme, and the variety of cool features that are packed into a small space (refrigerator, oven, stove top, sink, microwave, coffee maker, cupboard, plate rack, phone, towel bar, working dials). In addition, the unit comes with a coffee pot, cordless phone, 2 mugs, 2 sets of forks/knives/spoons, 2 plates, and a frying pan. The pieces are nice and large for small hands. The only sound effect on the unit is the dial for the burner that uses 2 AAA batteries (not included). It makes boiling noises and sizzling noises when turned. Assembly was simple and took us about 20 minutes on Christmas Eve. When we assembled it we decided not to put on the little 3.5-4" high feet that are included because she is still short and the height it came is perfect. The textures in the plastic are very detailed and the unit seems to be of a good quality. The kitchen is a little modern and stylish and she loves to pretend she is making eggs on the stovetop and washing dishes in the little sink. The stickers are high quality and very easy to apply. The only real drawback of this product is a minimal amount of storage space for plates, pots, pans, play food, etc. You can store things in the fridge, stove, microwave, and little cupboard, but I will likely get a small storage cabinet of some kind to hold these items for her. The price point of this kitchen was much less expensive than several others we looked at. This kitchen is great for kids aged 2-7 years old and perfect for families where space is at a premium. Several friends that have seen ours plan on purchasing this product. I would highly recommend this toy.

The boys loved it
We bought this as a Christmas present for our two-and-a-half year old grandson. Far and away it was the hit of the family Christmas party with all the boys. These little boys are all fanatic outdoor jocks, each of whom is all boy. Our son had to get one for his boys. It has a control that makes the sound of sizzling bacon and running water. The knobs turn and/or click. The doors open and the included accessories are great. It does require significant assembly including application of decals on the windows of the oven/microwave.

Perfect Size Stove
After reading the reviews, I was a little worried that I would struggle with putting it together. I had no trouble at all tho. A lot said that the legs were hard to get on, but all I had to do was push a corner in & they seemed to screw right in with no problem. I got it put together in about 45 minutes including putting the stickers on. It was a great height & sturdy. I think it will be played with for several years.

Donation to Children's Hospital
The Children's Hospital where I volunteer opened a small playroom, and a bigger size play kitchen would have taken up too much room. This smaller play kitchen is a wonderful fit...especially for use in a corner space. The kids love the kitchen, and it's nice that there are separate play stations so two children can use it at the same time without getting in each other's way.My husband and I put the play kitchen togerher in about 1 1/2 hours.Probably could have done it in less time, but my husband feels like he doesn't "need" to read directions to put something together!!!.Just know that plastic can warp some, and not everything matched up perfectly...but it's not an issue in my opinion. Some reviews suggested that a drill was needed to start the holes for the screws, but we didn't find it necessary.I like that the kitchen comes with just the right amount of accessories. If you are looking for lots of gadgets, then you might want to consider another play kitchen.I personally like toys that are more basic, and since this kitchen is in a hospital setting, it makes more sense to have something simple. It's easier to clean with no small parts to worry about breaking, getting lost or shoved down a kid's throat.I like this little play kitchen and would recommend it to anyone looking for a small, basic play kitchen with just enough gadgets to make a kid happy!

The 2.5 year old loves it.
Nothing like having your child offer you a "fresh cup" that he just brewed on his coffee maker. Multiple times he's used the phone that comes with it to "call" Santa and thank his for his gifts. The package comes in three main peaces, the bottom, the countertop and the hutch or overhead cabinets. These are attached with some screws. Assembly took about 1/2 an hour with appropriate tools. An hour at most. The feet were the exception where significant pressure plus turning was required to finally get them to screw into the bottom. Decals will need to be put on for the cutting board, oven, and microwave. You get two plates, two sets of forks and knives and two coffee cups. A pan, coffeepot and wireless phone round out your additionals. once built is very sturdy when placed against a wall or piece of furniture but can be easily toppled without that additional support.

Toddler Approved
My kids have already cooked up many a great meals for me to sample with this play kitchen. It is a great addition to any play room. My toddler especially loves the pizza and pizza cutter that comes with. The assembly was pretty straight forward, however the door to the fridge makes a loud clicking sound and is a little hard to open. I assume that after some more use, however, it will begin to be easier to open and the pop will disappear as the plastic wears in a little bit. Also note, when securing the two sections together, make sure the top piece it is down all the way before tightening. User error, but an easy mistake to make.
