Good product

I was hoping these would be smaller but I didn’t look at details before buying. These are big clips that will fit all of your hair! But no complaints, good product! I have thick hair and struggle to ever use clips but these hold very well.

My go to.

I purchased these and a competitors. These won by a landslide. They stay in place, they hold a lot, they’re easy to open, and they’re relatively resilient. Even after my children end up breaking off a prong or two, they work really well for a long time.

Everyday use.

My last octopus clips lasted me an entire year of everyday use. I sleep with my hair up with an octopus clip and use them whenever I work up or need to quickly get my hair out of my face. They are slick and do not tug on hair when being removed, but they also have grips lining the inside of the clip in order to keep hair from falling out while in place. They're amazing quality, after my last one broke from a straight year of use I had no problem buying another set.

NOT small clips

I have this style of clip and is actually my preferred style considering I have shoulder length, fine hair. This style holds my hair in an updo very well where as other styles will have my hair just falling out constantly. Considering other reviews I thought these would be the smaller clips like the ones I needed more of, but these are MUCH larger. Even though I was a little dismayed that they were so large, they still manage to hold my hair up well so I am not disappointed.

Quick hair day solution.

Wearing my hair up and away from my face at work is often necessary. These clips are an inexpensive, in fact a cute way to do so. My hair is average thickness and the clips look, feel great and have shown no signs of wear of breakage.

Medium size clips

These are the medium size octopus hair clips. When I was buying them, I couldn't tell if there were the big ones, or the ones just a bit smaller. These are the slightly smaller ones. However they still hold hair well. I have a bunch of thick hair, but it's only shoulder length right now, so these clips are fine for it. Back when I had hair past my shoulders, I would have needed the larger size (because of how super thick my hair is). For most hair types, these clips are fine in size and are strong enough. If you have that long, thick hair that looks like a horses tail when it's in a pony tail (like mine is when it's long) then you'll want the clips the next size up.

SURVIVED 6 MONTHS IN A WAR ZONE

I can’t rave about this clip enough!!!! I’m in the military & found out I was deploying... I knew my hair would have to be in a bun every single day but didn’t want to cause too much breakage so I ordered these clips (yes, Air Force permits clips). I have lighter hair & used the blonde clip. I wore that clip for 176 DAYS STRAIGHT. Every single day while in a combat zone. My job isn’t “down & dirty” but I am active during it & this clip held up through it all, til almost the end. It broke just a few days before I was set to go home. Maybe even a few days longer before I got out there. Yes the paint chipped off, yes some of the rubber strips on the inside came off, but it didn’t give up after almost SIX STRAIGHT MONTHS of use. 12/10 would recommend

Love these clips

Standard octopus clip like you see in Walmart or Target. I love octopus clips, because I have so much hair (even when it's shorter) and these can grip and hold it up all day long. I've had several over the years, and I've only had one or two limbs break (I usually lose them). These are really the best option if you want to throw your hair up quickly and not risk indents from a pony tail. Highly recommend for all hair.

I Love the Grip

I purchases These to replace some I already has. My hair dresser recommended them to me. The grip is amazing because I’d the rubber that the manufacture puts on the inside of the teeth. I recommned them to anyone who uses hair clips.

I like minimal clip showing

I have shoulder length, very layered hair. So finding a clip that will hold my hair up is difficult. I like minimal clip showing. this clip fit the bill. They have rubber grippers on the inside of the plastic clips which hold even fairly short hair in the clip and it doesn't slip out. I like the small grips so that I don't have so much plastic showing. Great clip!
