Truly worked after 6 months of trying EVERYTHING!

Since we adopted her as a puppy my poor Sophie (now two years old) has had chronic yeast infections in her ears, which then spread to her paws (due to the itching). We have tried EVERYTHING; new food(s), medications (drops/shots/pills), cleaning treatments... you name it, we've done it. And they all worked... for a few days to a few weeks, then she would head right back down hill... I felt like the worst dog mom in the world! Finally in my desperation I searched "dog ear yeast infection" on Amazon, and low and behold Zymox shows up! Now I am a bit of a review fanatic... I scour them all, and to be honest I almost didn't try Zymox because I was a bit skeptical about so many positive reviews (crazy, I know), especially since this seems to go against what our veterinarian was telling us. The instructions on the Zymox recommend not pre-washing the ear... are you serious!?! How is a dirty ear supposed to help my poor puppy!? But in my desperation I decided a few more "wasted" dollars (and less of a fight over ear cleaning) wouldn't hurt, and what the heck, we had tried everything else. I AM SO GLAD I GAVE ZYMOX A CHANCE!!! I followed the directions and treated her ear everyday for two weeks... the first few days we really didn't notice anything, but I wasn't willing to give up hope. After about day 4 I noticed that she wasn't itching very often and the inside of her ears wasn't bright red anymore! After day 7 her ears were a healthy pink and she was literally running over to have the Zymox put into her ears... that right there told me it must be working, I had never seen her excited for ear drops! By day 14 her ears were a healthy pink, they no long smelled like "dead fish" (a smell I never thought would go away - from the yeast infections), she was no longer incessantly licking and chewing on her paws - which she was doing because the yeast infection was transferring to them from itching her ears. We have been using this product for over a year now, after the initial 14 days I have only had a to use it about once a month (or less) and then for only a few days at a time - I use it when I notice her ears getting a little red, and use it just until her ears return to normal. She now recognizes the bottle and still comes running over to have her "drops" put in - this stuff is seriously awesome and I cannot recommend it enough. If you have a pet that has been suffering from yeast infections, give this a shot - my guess is it will work for you too!

American Bully

Our big blue American Bully XL has skin allergies which cause near constant ear infections (we did not crop his ears), and he will actually come ask us to put medication in his ears. He understands it it helping him, and he does his best to tolerate it. Such a good boy! There’s no need to preclean an ear that already hurts when you use this medication, & it was vet prescribed to us ( we paid more through her) so we stick to this one. We also use it as a preventative whenever his skin becomes irritated, or he has had a bath. It has worked miracles for Tank, and I recommend it to everyone whose dog has developed, is developing, or prone to ear infections. It actually works (don’t forget to massage the ear a bit after you put some in to get it spread around in the ear, and ear canal- because as soon as you let their head go they are going to shake their head! You don’t need to mush it down, and hurt the dog more, just a firm unhurtfull massage. We also use this once after bathing our other dogs to just in case any water gets stuck in their ears. I was a dog groomer before a bar accident ended that career. Any groomer, or vet will tell you that you must clean your dogs ears on occasion. Unless your vet, or a professional has shown you how this product is a good alternative between visits to the vet, or groomer. All that being said we definitely DO recommend this product, & Hope our review is helpful to you, and your dog!

Finally the solution to my cat's ear problem.

My cat is 9 and has had ear problems on and off all throughout her life. Crazy amounts of earwax, always shaking her head, and scratching. Every year the vet gives me new ear drops for her to try and it would never solve the problem. In December 2016 my vet put my cat under and cleaned both of her ears. She said she was surprised my cat could even hear anything because of the amount of wax build up, but told me it didn't look like she had any ear mites. When I asked her what I can do to keep them clean she never really gave me a solution other than drops that didn't seem to work. A month later in January, I noticed the ear wax was coming back and decided to do some research. I came across these drops and decided to order them. I did exactly as the instructions said and my cat didn't seem to mind these and actually let me put these in her ears. I noticed a huge improvement while using them, the ear wax was slowly disappearing. Fast forward to July I checked my cats ears today and NO WAX!!! NONE! this stuff is amazing. Seems like my cat had a yeast infection all along and treating her for mites and other things was making her ears worse. She is finally wax free!!

Try this - it works

Ok, so we have this 2 year old street cat, literally off the street, dirty sooty cat. Cleaned up very nicely except his ears. Nothing the vet prescribed helped. We were cleaning his ears every couple of days because they were so waxy and dirty. Tried this, it said not to clean the ears before using. So we didn't. We were able to treat both ears at the same time, mainly because my brave daughter kept a tight hold on the towel wrapped cat. Finish and let him go, and he is shaking his head for about 30 seconds ensuring that everything we just put into his ears is coming out. -- I advise doing this in an easy to clean bathroom as the liquid is a little greasy. -- The bottle says to re-apply once a day for 7 days and I figure that we are going to have to do this for the next week. Grab the kitty the next day, expecting greasy waxy ears and they are clean. Clean like they are supposed to be clean. And they stay clean for months off of just one treatment. I'm not sure why it works but it does. I passed it on to my friend who has a lab with a stinky ear that hasn't cleared up. It took the full week, but he is no longer stinky and such a happy dog.

Great product!!!!!!

This is one of those products that will amaze you how good it works. I've been struggling with my dogs ear mites for months and they would get better than worse again. I tried several dips and pesticides but with little results. After administering this twice a week in both ears, the itching has stopped and the mites are gone. No more tar in their ears nor do they pick at it. It took about a month to completely fix the issue cause I have several dogs but I put this on all of them so they wouldn't be padding it from one to another and so far they are happy as can be. This is product is nothing short of amazing.

If I could give this 10 stars I would. My dog has chronic ear infections ending up in the vet every three months or so. We also tried all different remedies, medications, steroids, prescription shampoo, changed her diet, eliminated foods one by one. Exhausting with no real concrete answers from the vet. I ordered this when I saw first signs of infection and package was delayed a day. By the time I got it, her ear was red, inflamed, swollen, draining and smelly. She was shaking her head and scratching nonstop. I had an appointment for her but decided to give this a try for a day or two first. I wasn't expecting much as her infection was obviously full blown by now but we started seeing improvement on day one. Overnight the drainage dried up and her ear started crusting over where it was raw. Swelling was gone overnight and redness was completely gone by day 2. We are now on day 4 and her ear is a normal color, crusted over in spots, smell is gone and she is more active. I combined this with an antifungal shampoo to keep the yeasty skin under control and medicated wipes for the hot spots on her belly and under her tail. This has so exceeded anything I hoped for, I am reordering it to keep on hand. I ordered the small bottle and it should be enough for a 2 week daily treatment. This is product is nothing short of amazing.

Fantastic, works really good and fast

I have a stray cat for almost 3 weeks now. I took him to a vetco bus to get his vaccines. The vet told me that he has ear mites and needs to go to vet clinic for ear drop prescription.that would be another little fortune. I checked Amazon, read reviews and gave this drops a shot. After only 3 days I saw a significant difference. His ears cleared really fast, the dark gulp started to dissolve and I realized that he wasnt scratching his ears as much. After one week there is almost no gulp to see. Iam very happy, saved alot, cat is also happy!!! :-)

Great Product!

So we bought this ear cleaner based off of the great reviews, we were not disappointed! Our golden retriever gets minor ear infections often and the last time she went to the vet it cost over $100 for the vet to tell me that she has an ear infection which we already knew. For this product being under $25 and claiming to clear up ear infections I thought I would give it a shot. It was absolutely amazing and within 3 days our golden retrievers ear was completely healed up from the infection. She was no longer whining and scratching at her ear the smell went away and her ears are as white as can be. I also purchased the ear wipes with aloe vera and Eucalyptus to help clean her ears as well. I could definitely tell that the ear cleaner and the ear wipes were definitely soothing on her ear because she had scratched her ear open from all the scratching. I definitely recommend this product for anybody who has dogs with floppy ears and is prone to ear infections. This was an excellent product and we will be buying this often to keep our dog's ears nice and clean and healthy. I'd give it 10 Stars if I could

My dog war was cured in a week

Last Friday my dog had a terrible yeast infection in his ear. I ordered this and it worked! His ear infection was cured less than a week

Very impressed!

I was hoping this eat drop was everything everyone said it was. Thankfully this drop has been life changing for us. My 1 yr old has had ear infection after ear infection for at least 7 months. Just like everyone else multiple different treatments, doctors visits, etc. and no relief. It may appear to go away, but comes back quick and bad. She always scratched it til it was nleeding. I was so excited to get these drops in the mail. As soon as they arrived I started treating her. She has made huge improvements! Before now, she wouldn't even let me look at her ear. Her ear was swollen and bloody, now it looks just like the other one! She is so much happier now! Will definitely continue using this product to keep my baby girl happy and healthy!
