Wow! Great deal, great boxes!

These boxes are great! I just used two of them for shipping books and they worked perfectly. In fact, I would say that each box will comfortably hold up to 2-3 average sized books, and maybe as many as 4 or more standard sized paperbacks. The price is great, too, as they cost about the same or even less than padded envelopes, and protect the contents much better. I would love to see the boxes in a slightly smaller size at this price range with free shipping, also. Oh, yes, for those who care, they are also made of 100% recycled materials, so, a bonus for the mother earth, too!

They’re BIG! Good and deep. Used them for lamps, etc. STRONG too. I’d buy again!

These are nice and big! Deep and sturdy. We packed them FULL and had a bunch of heavy stuff. They’re almost too big...but we added so much to them to fill them and they stayed strong. Easy to label because they’re marked with rooms (check off which room they’re for, etc). I’d definitely recommend!

The only good part of moving!

We had a very short period of time to pack up a two bedroom apartment in NYC. We priced having a moving company pack and move and found that the price was ridiculous, the timing would not work, and in the end we discovered that what the moving company says the will do is not the same as what the "people" who come to actually do the move are willing and/or able to do. We ordered these boxes and found them to be sturdy, clean, true to size, and easy to pack. We ordered them in several different sized and managed to get everything packed on time with only one box left over, which we packed with stuff for the Salvation Army! Most importantly, everything arrived in perfect condition...or at least in the same condition that it left NYC. I cannot recommend a moving company, but I would recommend that if you want a good deal on good packing boxes, order them from Amazon.com! The were the best part of the move!

Superb!

These are excellent shipping boxes, well made, evenly cut, flat for storage. I took a chance after reading the reviews. I'm incredulous that anyone complained that these boxes were unevenly cut. My shipment is square all around, the edges line up perfectly when closed. They're better than any boxes that I've received objects in from any vendor on the net. And the writing on the panels? Who cares?! There is plenty of open space on all four sides to address directly, and just cover up the printing with a paste-on label. I'm taking the time to write this, as I would like to set straight the other reviews above. Especially because all other vendors sell 25 at a time, which takes up a lot of space if you don't have a lot of storage room.

True to size

These boxes were used as card collectors at a party for several graduating high schoolers. Perfect size, easy to decorate. Sturdy cardboard. True to size.

Really good boxes for the price.

Used these to pack big glass plates for a tv stand. I didn't use them as open boxes, just as nice long flat sheets of cardboard, and custom cut to fit the glass. Worked fantastic.

I sell on-line and many items that weight a few ounces like hats I need to ship in boxes so that they do not get crushed. I was paying $5.50-$6.50 for priority mail as with the box they weighed over the 13 ounce first class limit. I found these boxes first in a dollar store for more than on Amazon and wow, I packed my hats and other delicates in them and because they are crush proof no packing materials are needed - and now they are under the 13 ounce weight. Even subtracting $1.25 per box I am still saving $1 - $2 over priority mail, and since I ship at least 150 lightweight packages a month, that is at least a $150 monthly savings. I tried ordering a generic box with the EXACT same dimensions as the duct boxes for half the price, but they weight 8.4 ounces and kept pushing my items over the 13 ounce limit - so back to the Duck boxes on Amazon! The boxes are sturdy but lightweight - much better than priority mail shoeboxes I was previously using.

Better than Uboxes Brand

I recently moved from state to state. The Duck Brand boxes held up during cross-country shipping and I can use them on my next move. The other brand I ordered from Amazon was the Uboxes brand. The boxes I got from Uboxes had much thinner carboard; they cannot be reused as they were crumpled or had holes or bent. I prefer Duck Brand due to the thickness and ability to reuse the boxes, making it more economical in the long run. Also, Uboxes sent my boxes in a plastic wrap, so 1 of the boxes was already damaged upon arrival. The Duck Brand boxes came in a box all their own, so they arrived in perfect condition. If you want to reuse boxes, I suggest the Duck Brand from this seller.
