Bought this map for my 11 year old son as a Christmas gift. I thought it would be fun since its educational and he was already collecting some of the quarters. But now he's obsessed. I didn't realize that there were different years worth of state quarters, so this map is for the years 1999-2009, but he doesn't care. The circular part that pops out to place the quarter in the map was a little hard to get out, but once we figured it out using a regular kitchen knife, it worked great, fast and easy.

I work with an autistic adult who loves coins. Thought this might be fun for him and was I right! The day after I gave it to him he brought a bunch of quarters to the office so we could put them on the map. It's been 2 days and he only needs 4 quarters to complete his map. Very sturdy and well made. Trying to think who else I know that would like this!

Bought this so I can start collecting the State quarters. It was much larger than I thought, but when you open it up, you realize why its so big. :) Now I get super excited when I find a new coin to insert, because I have someplace to put it (instead of into a piggy bank). It shipped super quick, I had it just a few days later. I wish Canada had something like this!!

I bought this along with a proof set of the first States minted for my 7 year old grandson for Christmas. He was very excited and read this as well as placed the quarters in their holders right away. It's nicely made and as we are studying the 50 States in home school, it adds some glamour and color to our studies. Love it.

Got this for 2 of my grandkids as a gift because I had gotten it for another granddaughter who had a lot of fun with it. Actually the whole family was into it. Very sturdy and perfect for children of almost any age. It’s tempting to look through your quarters and just give the needed ones to your child, but let them have the fun of looking through quarters and searching, it’s very educational and fulfilling for them.

Bought this for my six-year-old grandson. I had given the nine-year-old grandson one a couple of years ago. This is a good teaching tool. We all immediately checked our coins and piggy banks and started filling the book. He seem to enjoy doing that and now will be on the lookout for the ones he is missing.

This is the best ever state quarter holder. I bought it for my grandson who loves maps. We placed the quarters which belonged to his mother when she was a girl. Very sturdy. The coins pop in easily and do not fall out. That is my favorite feature. It has two brass holes one in each corner for ease in hanging on wall. An excellent product.

I bought 2 of these for my kids. I was looking for Christmas presents that weren't meaningless toys and these were perfect! They really enjoy comparing maps and racing to fill in all of their state quarters. They are durable and well made. The perforated cardboard cut outs can be a pain to get out to replace with quarters but we use a mini flat head screwdriver (gently) and they pop right out. Would recommend and will definitely buy more to give as gifts in the future.

Recently started my 7 year old granddaughter on collecting State Quarters. This was a perfect gift for her. She was able to place her collection in the proper slots and is learning about the states as she does it. She was so excited.

This is (as per my 7 yo son) - "TERRRRRRRIIIFFFFFFIC!!" It is a big, beautiful map that looks nice on a bookshelf. He has a lot of fun (and learns geography and state capitals) inserting coins and figuring out which others he needs. The states are colored based on the year in which the quarters for that state were released. The only problem (which is the reason he asked me to post a review) is that it is extremely difficult to remove quarters once they are inserted. If they go in crooked (or you if you want to replace one), then you risk damaging the quarter (and your fingers) if you try to take it out. The first hint of that problem was when it was difficult to remove the cardboard inserts for each state...but those weren't TOO bad. But once the quarter is in, it STUCK., which has caused him frustration with an otherwise great product.
