Great Flapper
My old flapper was leaking badly and running my water bill way up. This will pay for itself within the first week! I'd never dealt with a flapper issue before, but it was easy to install and the effect was obvious immediately. I'd happily buy again- but I hope it won't be needed.

Easy to install
My toilet had been running and I had tried a bunch of things to fix it, but none worked. My local hardware store was out of this, but was able to easily identify that this was the right product and install it on my own with minimal plumbing knowledge. This stopped the leaking since this new seal works much better than the old one! Wish there was a way to replace the seal instead of the whole flap though.

Perfect fit
Perfect replacement flapper provided it fits your toilet. Easy to install and adjust the water flow. They didn't have this in my local home improvement store. Not sure why I even go there for this stuff anymore. So easy to order it online and get it in 2 days!

easy to install
I had a plumber fix my running toilet 2 years in a row and it started running again. With a little patience, I was able to determine it was the flap. I looked for a replacement for the model I had and discovered that the flap in my toilet had terrible reviews (my plumber probably knew I would be a customer for life with the garbage he was installing). I purchased this replacement part and installed it in under 2 min. it works as promised - my toilet is not running and, from what I can see from other reviews I expect it will keep my plumber away for along time! :-)

Quick fix for a leaky flapper.
Perfect replacement in a one piece American Standard toilet. Installation took a couple of minutes and instantly stopped the leak. Chlorine tablets will stiffen the rubber seals on these "flappers" and shorten their life considerably; when the seals lose their flexibility they will leak.

easily replaced old flapper, well designed
I really like the design. When I bought it, I didn't notice the black plastic tub that covers the chain and blocks it, so it doesn't prevent the rubber seal. It's a simple and cheap improvement that really helps save water and my time. The hard plastic arms will probably work far better than the rubber arms that slowly disintegrated on my old flapper, which is the reason it had to be replaced. The chain was easy to adjust. I would probably buy it again, depending on how well this one does.

Exactly what I needed
This is a great bargain. I used it to replace an old one that deteriorated due to my use of a bleach tablet. I believe bleach tablets will ruin these after some time, so I am looking for an alternative to those. However, this seems like a great deal for the money.

Easy To Install - Works Great
I was hesitant about installing this flapper. It looked more complicated than simple rubber flapper that I was replacing. Setting the amount of water used per flush was easy. Simply pull up on the ball like protrusion under the flapper and move the dial from 0-10, 10 being the highest flow rate. I started with 10 since so many reviewers stated that the water flow on 10 was less than usual. My experience was very different. I was resigned to see a timid flush. What occurred was quite the opposite. The water gushed out as if a dam had burst. I switched to 8 and the flush was normal. Supposedly this flapper is supposed to last 10 years. 5 years would be great.

Toilet is now easy to flush
Description on Amazon is not clear, so I will correct: A. Its red B. Its open time is adjustable C. Its clip width is also adjustable Moved into a house. One of the toilets had a handle hard to flush, and the flapper wouldnt hold open long enough to get a "good" flush. Had that "clunk" sound. Got this in mail, moved clip width to max, futzed with the adjustable open time (dont know what number, I did it blind until I was happy). Toilet is now easy to flush, and flapper remains open long enough for a good flush while not remaining open too long. Bonus is it will last a very long time. I am happy.

Solved the leak
My first attempt at replacing the flapper (from the local hardware store) in one of my toilets was a failure, with a persistent leak. I have used the Fluidmaster before, and I was once again pleased that it was very easily installed and worked perfectly. This brand is not available in my town. Let's hear it for Amazon.
