• Experience Nintendo's greatest game worlds in one giant theme park! Nintendo Land is a fun and lively virtual theme park filled with attractions based on popular Nintendo game worlds.
  • Each attraction features unique and innovative gameplay experiences made possible by the Wii U GamePad controller.
  • Depending on the attraction, players can play solo, compete against other players, or even team up to play cooperatively.
  • The experiences change depending on whether players are using the GamePad, a Wii Remote controller, or just watching others play on the TV screen.
  • Up to five players can participate in dynamic multiplayer modes in select attractions. Multiplayer modes require additional accessories, which are sold separately.

Was hanging with the guys, just trying to get right into the action. AND WAS INTERRUPTED BY THAT GOSH DANGED ROBOT WHO INSISTED ON GIVING ME, AND MY GROUP OF FRIENDS, AN INFURIATINGLY LONG TUTORIAL ON BASIC ARBITRARY NONSENSE. However my love for nintendo and the quality bargain that is this game, I will still give it 5 stars. Just be advised in advance, do not first-time-start this game in front of people. It is worse than playstation with the time it will consume with waiting.

The games are put together perfectly. My six year old daughter is able to have fun playing the games even though she can't master the actual controls yet. She enjoys being able to see herself as a Mii in the game itself. My personal favorite is the Donkey Kong puzzle game... like a modern amped up version of the old wooden Labyrinth marble game! Nintendo fully utilizes the 5th controller for this game and really wows my friends and family when they witness it for the first time. Many 'easter eggs' to unlock and a slew of challenges to keep you coming back for more. The social aspect is great too because your theme park gets visitors from other Mii players. Will definitely be looking forward to a sequel game or new downloadable content if Nintendo decides to go that route. I highly recommend this game if you enjoy the party style games or if you are just a Nintendo fan of their classics as this is a perfect mash up of all their hit title characters.

Product arrived quickly. I wanted games to play with my family, like team games. I am 50 years old and recently purchased a Wii U. This has many mini-games to play as teams with your family or solo play. Depending on the attraction, players can play solo, compete against other players, or even team up to play as a team. When using the Game Pad it brings another experience to the game. You can play with up to five players. There are also multi-player modes. You may need to buy additional accessories for multi-player mode. My daughters are 20 and 22 and want to have game days now. Great for all ages.

As skeptical as I was, I am proven completely wrong. Nintendo Land is full of fun content and the presentation is complete with Nintendo magic we expect when trying out a new Nintendo system. When you first begin Nintendo Land and are first introduced to this virtual Nintendo theme park, you may get a tear in your eye or a wave of nostalgia. Seeing the different "attractions" as you walk around the park, you'll wonder why there isn't already a Nintendo Land (and Nintendo World, of course in the spirit of Disney World.) The various games are quite fun; I'm sure other reviews have already described each in detail, so I will give some highlights from my first couple weeks of playing: --Luigi's Ghost Mansion: the player with the Wii U gamepad is the ghost, and the other players can't see the ghost on the TV most of the time. The first time reactions to a player suddenly being caught by the unseen ghost player are priceless. --Mario Chase: the player running away has the gamepad advantage and can see the map, while the other players chasing him cannot see the map or the player unless they actually find him (no screen-watching!). An instant-replay on the top down map is as funny as playing, as you watch everyone's paths, near-misses, or hilarious take-downs. --Ninja Castle: awesome music and setting. It boils down to an arcade shooting gallery with cardboard bad guys, but you can control the strength of your (ninja blade) shot by the flick of your finger on the gamepad. --Legend of Zelda Battle Quest: the player with the gamepad gives cover to the swordsmen with arrows. Once the archer gets the hang of it, there are many "all-right!!!" moments. Encountering a new tune here and there from the Zelda repertoire is just great and I keep playing partly to hear the next one. --Yoshi's Fruit Adventure: a brand new addictive puzzle game great for hand, eye, brain coordination. Yoshi fans will love the cute setting, and I just can't get over how new yet obvious it feels. --Metroid: the players on foot will enjoy watching the pilot get used to the flight controls with the Wii U gamepad, but once they do...! Excellent mix of shooting action; players on foot use Wii remotes and nunchuks to walk around and aim, with several of Samus' abilities. Even the grapple beam--which can even attach to the gunship! Too many surprises and laugh out loud moments to list here. This is great fun with friends and family (and my wife and I have played with both!).

I purchased this game for my 9 year old nephew as a 'chores reward' prize after a summer full of helping out with daily duties and watching his little cousin. He loves it! I played a few of the games this evening and it was pretty fun! There are a lot of different games to choose from. My only 'con' would be that a lot of them are 2+ player games. Since he is often playing by himself, he had to wait for someone to be free long enough to be able to play those specific games. I would recommend this for any Nintendo lover.

If you own a WiiU, this is a fantastic fun family game! My kids and I just love it! I like that up to 5 can play at the same time! It also uses the WiiU game pad in unique ways. Really a gem! I hope Nintendo comes out with version 2 and adds new games and options and more cool uses for the game pad, too. We love to play as our Mii characters in the game and have friends and family come over and play as their Mii. Even grandma! In my humble opinion, Wii Resort and WiiU Nintendo Land are the best games we've found so far that kids and adults can play and enjoy together!

Love love love this game! Lots of games to choose from, no swearing, no blood, no real violence. If you are looking for a game the whole family can enjoy, this is it.

This is a wonderful game! I played the game at some Nintendo-sponsored events and at a friend's house, so I bought it soon after. It's a great game, both in single-player and multiplayer, although it's much more fun with friends over. I'll go ahead and give it five stars - I was going to give it four stars because while the packaging was new and unwrapped, the cover looked very faded, like it had been in the sun for a while. Otherwise, get your hands on this, it's a wonderful game.

In the words of my 14 yr old son: Nintendo Land is an awesome game where you play as your mii in a virtual theme park full of attractions based on Nintendo's greatest games. There are three categories for the attractions: theme attractions, competitive attractions, and solo attractions. For completing the attractions you earn coins that can be used to play a minigame. When you complete a level in the coin minigame you win a random prize that appears in the plaza as decoration. There are twelve attractions total: Legend of Zelda Battle Quest, Metroid Blast, Pikmin Adventures, Animal Crossing Sweet Day, Mario Chase, Luiigi's Mansion, Takamuru's Ninja Castle, Captain Falcon's Twister Race, Balloon Trip Breeze, Donkey Kong's Crash Course, Octopus Dance, and Yashi's Fruit Cart. The attractions are different than the games they are based on, although some are similar.

I thought when I ordered it I would receive what I saw in the pic. The game didn't come in the original packaging as shown but instead a cd case. Just not what I want as a video game collector. Very fast shipping though and they've already approved my refund so for that I'll give you 5 stars.
