These pads are a life saver. I was in so much pain despite liberal use of nipple salve. These not only soothe but keep the skin moist to prevent cracking. After several days of using these, my skin was able to heal. I'm not sure how it would have otherwise. I wish they were cheaper considering the fact that they only last for a couple days, but what are you going to do? They are an expensive habit for sure, but it is worth it not to be miserable. Plus, they aren't any more expensive than the hydrogel pads that only last for 24 hours. They stick better than the 24-hour ones too.

These are literally so soothing! They were a huge help for comfort so I could sleep at night with my first -- at night there was nothing to distract me from nipple tenderness/pain (I had cracking and bleeding with her -- not fun!), which distracted me from sleep. Even with my second baby, with whom nursing has gone exceptionally well, these eased soreness from sudden round-the-clock breastfeeding with a tiny mouth that first week or so. These are my go-to baby shower gift now! They are not meant to contain leaks, though they absorb some milk. I would not go in public with only these and not a regular nursing pad too. (I like Lansinoh for disposables and Bamboobies for washable.) Compared to Medela hydrogel pads, I prefer these. Their fabric backing makes them more comfortable inside a bra, and the boob side seems to stick less/peel off more easily. However, the Medela hydrogels are less expensive, so for extended use (if your baby has latch issues and your nipples are really suffering) those are also a viable option. PS don't forget to call your lactation consultant if you really need help!!

These were a lifesaver the first few days breastfeeding! As a first-time mom, I had of course heard all the horror stories of breastfeeding pains. This lead me to believe that I would be walking around shirtless for three weeks because of the pain of dry, cracked nipples. Because of this, I went to the hospital fully prepared with nipple cream, nipple pads and of course these cool gel pads in an effort to ease the pain. And I am SO glad I bought and brought these gel pads! The cooling effect of them is EXTREMELY relieving and exactly what my nipples needed after being introduced to feeding my daughter. I probably used these religiously after every feeding for about a week before I was able to do without and just go with the nipple cream and regular nursing pads. They are pretty thick, so don't expect to be able to wear them around under your clothes without receiving weird looks. But if you at all care for your nipples and sanity, buy these pads!! Your nipples will thank you.

It takes time for both mother and child to get used to nursing - six weeks, I've heard - so this helps during that rough, painful, sleepless phase. So much. I only got one pair, which the cat found and I've since somehow also misplaced. (There might be a correlation...) I maybe should have gotten two, but managed with one. These plus lanolin got us over the initial hurdle. One thing: you get so used to them, you might forget they're on. Baby generally is not understanding of this.

Magic. I had small open wounds on my nipples that would. not. heal. Two days of wearing these, and they were almost completely healed. Magic. I used them for longer than 2 days, but after a while they stop being sticky. No big deal b/c my bra kept them in place. If you really wanted to, you could probably get 4 days out of these. I used two sets over the course of maybe 6 days, and the little open gashes closed and breastfeeding stopped hurting. Amazing.

I was very grateful to have these pads in the early weeks of breast-feeding my son. He was a clamper, and oh boy, was I hurting. If you keep them in the fridge, not only do they last longer (I used them for 2 to 3 weeks and they were fine; that might not be the case if you tend to leak, though), they feel heavenly. I tried them in the freezer, too, and while they felt even better then, they really didn't stick when frozen. I strongly recommend spreading some lanolin or coconut oil on your nipples before putting these pads on to prevent them from sticking. It hurts to peel them off when they stick!

These are the best things in the world!! I keep them in large supply at my house! They are so soothing on sore nipples. I am only 3 weeks post baby and I just love these. You can put them in the fridge for even more cooling but they are perfectly cool on there own. Per directions, you can use them for up to 72 hours which is awesome as well. I highly recommend anybody breast feeding or pumping get a supply of these ASAP, you will not be disappointed. They are also super thin so you can not see them through the bra.

New moms: BUY THIS. BUY STOCK IN IT. There is no amount of capital letters that can adequately express how much these helped me. I was so sore after trying to breastfeed my new baby, so I turned to Amazon for a quick shipment of something soothing. I couldn't find the exact item the hospital had given me, so I went out on a limb and tried this Lansinoh version. I like that these can be worn for up multiple days (72 hours, if I remember correctly), and that they can be placed in the fridge if you need a little extra soothing. I'm definitely going to buy a few of these before I go to the hospital to have Baby #2.

Purchased these not only with my first kid, but second as well. They usually run about $10 for 2 gel pads. Absolutely worth it, especially if you are breastfeeding. These helped me get through the (dreaded) first week of when baby learned how to nurse. They soothed tender nipples very effectively. I did re-use over and over for the first week (or two) and just made sure to keep them as clean as possible before reapplying. They do loose their stickiness over a couple days, but usually a person wears a bra during this time (leaky boobs anyone?) and that should help keep them put until you are past the first week or so. If you are in a hot climate, put these in a cool area so that the gel will be cool when you apply them. My home is generally cool anyways, so all I did was remove while nursing and reapply afterwards. Buy these for an expectant mother, they will be grateful (they better be!).

This product is half the price that those sold in Walmart and Target (where I usually get them), this is the best place to get them! I found them somewhat soothing... they improve my situation a little bit (no because they don’t work properly but because my situation is quite severe and this helps me get a lot of relief and that is more than enough for me to give it a 5 stars)... I figured that not using them worsens every progress I might accomplish... so I bought 3 more... the price is amazing!
