Perfection!
it is perfect for all sorts of makeup! I loved it. The packaging it very nice. The container it's in is a hard plastic so it's durable. There's a lot of product so it will last you quite a bit. Slowly im getting the hang of making fake bruises. Really cool!

Mehron never disappoints!
This color wheel was perfect for creating the bruised, irritated look (around and on the lacerations) that I was going for! No need to reapply however I do use a setting spray after applying my costume makeup. Makeup is creamy and goes on smooth. Good quality makeup for a low cost is the way to go.

Fabulousness
A fantastic purchase. I paired it with Mehron stage blood and the entire family looked like we had been in a car accident. Scared the pants off people in New Orleans, and didn’t sweat off. Barely budged in the rain—infact—made it look more realistic than it already did. Washes off incredibly easily. I’ve even paired this with the cherry red eyeshadows that are trending right now, and came out aces every time. Big win.

Amazing!
I love this wheel. I bought it for Walker Stalker Con in October and I couldn't be happier. It arrived perfectly on time and the colors are amazing and very pigmented. The package is larger than expected, which I like. I cannot wait to try this out!

The Best Bruise Makeup on the Market
Bruise wheel is a staple in any professional face painting or special fx makeup kit. Many companies make a bruise wheel, injury wheel or bruise stack, but I have not found one comparable with Mehron's. While I am a fan of almost all their products, Bruise Wheel is by far my favorite. The cream based makeup is soft, silky and very highly pigmented. A little tap of your finger into the makeup pot is all you need to rub into the skin for a realistic bruising effect. It blends beautifully, and the colors meld together exactly the way I need them to. I have found that the makeup in other cream based bruise wheels and bruise stacks seems to be much firmer and harder, making it harder to apply and blend. Mehron Bruise Wheel has been my go-to bruise simulation makeup for nearly a decade.

Fantastic for realistic brusing
This bruise wheel has been so much fun to play with! I had been using only Snazaroo face paints before I got this bruise wheel and I was blown away by how nicely the cream makeups blend and layer. The colors on this bruise wheel are so perfect for both old and new bruises, my preference being new bruises. I love the dark red and blue colors so much I actually use them for other makeups than have nothing to do with bruises :) These have a cool "under the skin" effect when used underneath liquid foundation and also work really well on gelatin prosthetics.

Lovely Product
I LOVE THIS. Love this. As far as FX makeup goes, with everything I've tried, this was the best. Shipping was fast, it arrived a day earlier than expected, which was great because that gave me some more time to practice with it before Halloween. It came packaged nicely, securely, and totally intact. I made a liquid latex zombie mouth prosthetic for Halloween this year. The wheel is decently sized, a little larger than my palm. It contained enough of every color for me to not only paint my prosthetic, but to have more than enough left over to do some stuff on my face and such as well. The green and yellow colors are pretty vibrant, but are easily dulled down by blending out or adding some black in along with them. The makeup applies smoothly, and dried on the latex and doesn't come off the latex without soap and water, (which is great) but is removable from the skin with a makeup remover wipe. The only vices with this product are these - If you sweat a *lot*, it's going to come off. I applied it to my nose and it started coming off after about twenty minutes. I fixed this by taking a bit of anti perspirant (gross I know, but it worked) on my nose before putting on the makeup. That worked better. Obviously, any makeup does this. Just a warning and what worked for me. Be prepared. The second is this - I wouldn't advise using your day to day make up brushes with this product. Applying my makeup yesterday, I realized I was still getting green from the wheel on my face along with my eyeliner. So either be prepared to clean really well, or use brushes you don't like so much (or ones for FX use.) All in all, great product. Would totally buy this again. (And hey, I might, next Halloween.)

If you want a quality bruise FX makeup without spending a fortune, this is it!
This makeup wheel worked perfectly for creating a black eye as well as other bruises and scrapes. It was easy to apply and blended well. Although it's a grease makeup, it definitely does not feel *greasy* on your skin! (I used to work in a Halloween store where we'd use those really cheap grease "cream" makeups that ran really badly, so I wasn't sure about this initially.) I watched a tutorial on Youtube and the girl utilized the Ben Nye bruise wheel, which has one additional color (looks like a dark blue) but is more than twice the cost. I felt this worked really well and was really great quality, and I didn't need to spend the extra $20 to get it. I would recommend using a setting powder and setting spray to keep the effects from running or getting smudged if you touch them. The makeup did fade a bit by the end of the day, but I was also outside for a large portion of the day in 80-degree weather, so I was surprised it lasted as long as it did! I would use FX makeup wheels by this brand again!

great product, you don't need a lot to create bruises , open sores, used in conjunction with Ammonia Free Liquid Latex Body Paint, Grafobian blood gel and Mehron cream stick to create unique zombie look. Use green sparingly, dab around edges of the wound, and watch you tube tutorials, my 12 year old was creating the look for the first time. love it!
